Do you need to have an X slide or can you get away with stock slide? Great video btw.
Any slide length will work on any grip module size. Where things become an aesthetic and functionality issue is if you want the muzzle or compensator to sit flush with the end of the dust cover on the grip module. An X slide is the shortest length, an XL Slide is the longer OEM length and is also the Macro length. The XL+ module is designed to sit flush with an XL slide and a PMM compensator. If you run an X slide, plus a PMM compensator, it equals the length of an XL/Macro slide. Hopefully that's clear as mud. What you really want to avoid is running a shorter slide or slide/comp combo on a longer grip module, because then your grip module will stick out further than the slide.
