"Because I can't do a project without 3d printing any more" sums up 3d printing so perfectly. Once you get into it, you wonder how the heck you kludged anything without it.
LOL yeah. And he made really nice enclosures for them a while back, but I just spotted a Sidewinder on the table behind. Well, that one's really quiet so I guess it's nicer to have it within reach.
@@sniperoth Didn't he also get a Prusa as well? the newer ones of those also got silent steppers, pretty sure. Newer machines seem to get nicer and quieter every year!
This looks exactly like what you'd see in a furniture magazine, love it!
Thanks, dude✌️
This is a lie, furniture magazines don't have stuff that nice and interesting!
By that i mean, it looks like it could sell for thousands from a modern furniture shop.
It soo clean.
@Michael Pearson As far as im aware hes in Norway.
I think this channel is a perfect example of how 3d printing can be useful in every project even just as a supporting tool for calibration / framing / spacing assistance!
It also shows how you can spend 2 hours designing and printing an object that could be made in 2 minutes out of a piece of wood
@@tiloalo LMAO! Sometimes that's true, but sometimes the dimensional accuracy of a printer for these things is much better than you can get with woodworking tools. Not to mention safer than using saws on a piece of wood that size. Hopefully that part wouldn't take anyone 2 hours to model 😂
@@tiloalo depends this guy have a lot of experience designing so it would'nt take too much time but 3d printing oh god that takes a serious time, the benefits is you can make it better, with complex shapes and in the meantime you could be doing something else so I all i see 3d printing is better.
@@tiloalo i guess it took the same amount of time as the wooden one would take, just because he already knows the angle he needs for the table and a little square as a handle, so i guess it took like 10 minutes to model and some free time for printing
Don't know what I like better, the table or the video production quality. Congrats.
With these resins getting cheaper and easier to get it will eventually become a competitor for the use of plastic.
Amazing as always. You wanted a challenge? Create a scissor jack out of wood. As I’m building my new workbench, I want a scissor jack that’ll raise from beneath table to table height for my mitre saw. Everyone but one builder has declined it. 🤣
Marius Hornberger build a really nice/sturdy scissor jack lift table... check out his video. czcams.com/video/ohyMRATOt5U/video.html
This is such a satisfying YT channel to watch because all of the careful preparation you put into each project makes it so that everything turns out beautiful and elegant.
3D printing, large-scale resin casting, and wood working... all in one project. An excellent demonstration of combining technologies for a finished product.
This table arrived well packaged and on time. czcams.com/users/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
When I see Alexandre has posted a video i stop everything I am doing and watch it!
Damn man anyone would would buy that master piece for a absurd amount of money... That thing can be in a multi million hotel, love all your work man ❤
that diy circlecutting tool !
big brain work here 👍🏻💪🏻
Thanks, dude✌️
It would maybe be a good idea to put the mold with Jesemite onto a vibrator to get all of the bubbles out quickly (or even vacuum it) for that perfect finish :)
Amazing as always, Alexandre! Thanks for sharing this with us. 👏
It's really good to see you using the tools/Equipments that you've made/restored in your previous videos!!
So, my daughter and I were watching this a few minutes ago, and I asked her what you should make next. She said a desk. (You're still using that old door, right?) I told her a Jesmonite plank that big would be too heavy. She said the desk should be wood. Maybe a Jesmonite inlay?
After some back and forth, we came up with the idea of a wood-topped desk, with Jesmonite drawer faces. Maybe use some of your 3D printed drawer handles to trim them out?
Maybe the whole tabletop could be jesmonite with rebar as a support on the inside
just super cool!! i've learned a lot with just 1 video! thank you!!
Forget the Jesmonite rubbish, the cutting of the circle was pure brilliance.
Nice, pure genius!
Beautiful! I came here for woodworking and instead found a gem of a site! Your infectious enthusiasm is definitely part of the enjoyment but your background in industrial design is so inspiring! I need to get my shop cleaned up and back up and running so I can try some of these project techniques. Thanks for what you do for the community!
WOW, this is stunning! Not just a piece of furniture, this is a piece of art
Your enthusiasm is infectious! Keep it up!
This is awesome. Definitely one of my favorite pieces you made. I didn’t even know about jesmonite until you
I agree with both your initial skepticism of the pattern... and then your love of it after sanding! This is art! I understand how that leap of faith felt to "leave well enough alone" and let that pattern set. It turned out beautiful though
Awesome project and, as always, great presentation. Love your energy! Thanks for sharing!
We started our business after seeing you talk about this material 🥰
Yee amazing! The wood work so exciting! Thank you
Beautiful table, great work!!
This turned out beautiful! 😍
Every time I watch your videos, I go.. "this guy is a genius, my god!"
I am amazed by your creation ! Definitely love the coffee table and process

Awesome table! I love the design with how legs and tabletop meet.
Man!!!!!! I'm Brazilian and I love your projects, your creations, they are incredible, amazing, congrats!!!!!!!!
I’m glad I found your channel! So much better than Netflix 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. AMAZING WORK!
I like how you came with all of these ideas and tested to get this brilliant piece
That was incredible to watch, and the table looks spectacular
You inspire me to try out new materials and design/build awesome stuff. Thanks for another great video!
I love hearing that, Thanks for watching :)
Great job, love your enthusiasm!
Love it! Great as always!
You are constantly blowing my mind dude. Keep up the great work!
Such talent, great to watch
This table looks lit. Nice work
Wow what a great table is came out!
love the way you still showing the legs from top to bottom and it's kinda huging the table top.
Well done. I think you could cast a spectacular table lamp using this method/material.
Ich sehe den Sternenhimmel! Großartig!
Wholey shite that table is AMAZING! So glad I found this video!
You're a legend bro! You deserve every success.
Amazing project, simple but very beautiful))
That's a beautiful table.
Charcoal grey with orange flecks would look amazing.
Super nice table!
I think that a river table with jesmonite in between the two slabs of wood would be really nice!
Pretty fantastic work, Alexandre! 😃
Really beautiful table!!!
Stay safe there! 🖖😊
Looks amazing!!!
Great job Alexandre, yours' is the first Patreon I've ever contributed to.
If you put that bucket of resin in a vacuum chamber first, you'll get a lot fewer bubbles in the table top.
That looks excellent!
Well done. Looks great.
Yet again another brilliant project!!! Love the work.
Thanks, dude✌️
I love it! Great job!
Beautiful!!!
Amazing!!!
Nicely done
That looks great!
Really well done! Great content as always!
Great build
Nice table. You should definitely get a CNC and a laser cutter. Imagine your creativity combined with these machines! ;) A Jesmonite piece carved on a CNC would be a very nice project!
That’s so cool x
WONDERFUL
Man!! your videos are so satisfying and you always manage to make things look really good!
Amazing work, I really like the pattern you created.
Love your videos man! Keep up the great work!

Awesome and beautiful work you are definitely talented.
I really want some jesmonite, it’s one of those things on my long list of ‘I’ll get some of that one day’ 😂
Cool project. Nice end result as well ;)
Dope!
Hermoso resultado ... eres un genio! .. saludos desde Lima, Perú
ur the reason i got a 3d printer lol
you are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty cool! Trying to make a bathroom sink would be great and fully customizable!
Maybe some flower pots for your plants?
Love the vids
I love your video's ❤️❤️
To beautiful 300/10 nice
9:16 God, while making me
HAHAHAHAHAHA xD
I feel you...
I think he accidently dropped the whole bottle while doing me, maybe not accidently
I'm a big fan of jesmonite as a building material. very cool stuff. I made a monitor stand inspired by the Mucem in Marseille, you can get away with pretty thin casting and still be strong.
Looks beautiful. And its nice that it's not glossy because scratches are not that noticible.
Nice & easy way to cut a circle!
One idea for a smaller table would be to include four screws into the mold (sticking out to the bottom) and then use threaded inserts to screw the legs in place.
