Very nice. Weldone guys
wow, awesome build :;D
Thanks! 😁
Wonderful build. Was this done with jesmonite AC 300?
Love this, great video, do you have the name of the stuff you used for the outline of the mould was it just mdmf? Also the link for the silicone used?
For the outline of the mould I used a Beeswax from Rustins, and the silicone mold products are from Notcutt, rtv silicone moulding rubber
Wow that is an awesome table! GOOD JOB.(where can I buy one? And Is the planter on the table in the end also made with jesmonite btw?
Hi Maibster, we are selling the top, legs are optional. If you're intersted dm me on Instagram at @razvanmakes ✌🏻
@@razvanmoldovan7226 hi, I’m curious as to why you would give the tabletop that texture? Because it looks like any other wood ply material. No one would understand that it’s gypsum composite like that.
Looks great! How much jesmonite was required?
Hi Oisin, We used I believe around 15kg of Jesmonite
Wonder if the legs will split or the top will crack as the wood expands and contracts? It's been a year, how did the table hold up?
Hi Vince,
The table holds up perfectly, thanks for asking. The walnut wood I used it was air dried for 8 years by that point so I had no worries about moving or splitting. The Jesmonite top works perfect, I did reapplied a coat of danish oil to maintain it and make it shiny.
looks great. what did you use over the wood to make the mold
Most likely simply 2 part silicone
I used rtv silicone moulding rubber.
Do you sell these molds are can you show us how to make them and what we need thanks
WOW! How much of Jesmonite did you use? Why did you paint black with a brush instead of pouring pigment into mix and then cast? Was it o purpose for some reason?
It wasn't straight pigment, it was the jesomite with the pigment. Its best to brush the first layer a of a mould to ensure a nice even finish with no bubbles or missing detail :)
Hi Kamila, Sorry for my late reply, Matt described it perfectly in the previous comment.
Thanks for watching!
What is the last product applied on it ?
We applied a mixed of oils, Tung Oil, Danish Oil and Osmo wax I believe. It is a mix I made because I liked the viscosity, also the finish is perfect for Jesmonite. It gets absorbed nicely into the material and for a black mix pops up the colour nicely, plus you have a nice shine
Nice work. Protect your lungs!!
Thank you, I will
