I was at the BVI's at the beginning of this month. We were leaving Pirates Bite, when my buddy says "what's that"? I was so exited to say, baby octopus! Just slightly bigger than yours😜. After watching your other videos, I immediately put my hand in the 3 inches of water, in its path and slowly wiggled my fingers (in what I imagined a non threatening way), it calmly walked right over my hand and under the dock. I made most of the sounds that you made. So amazing! Going back in April, so🤞🏼😁

Shane’s CZcams videos used to be comprised of nothing BUTT photographing amateur models underwater and on the beach, and then videos of him spearfishing, and killing and eating every manner of octopus, with ZERO regard for them, their intelligence, nor their dwindling numbers due to over consumption. The only thing you’d ever hear him say about an octopus was how tasty it was.
In these older videos, there was Zero ocean cleanup, zero saving marine wildlife, zero helping people find lost items, just blatant female exploitation, killing and eating marine wildlife, and bragging about getting to spend time with hot girls.
As a master diver myself, who spent over a year studying octopuses (and yes, it is, “octopuses,” NOT “Octopai,”) his blatant exploitation of a dwindling species, easily more intelligent than most human beings these days, really started to piss me off. They provide little to no nutrition in comparison to any edible fish, thus there’s no excuse for eating them other than just to be an asshole.
Well over a year ago, I very respectfully attempted to educate him on all the new scientific research my team and many others were doing, our findings, and generally what incredible animals octopuses are. I asked that he consider discontinuing constantly killing and eating them. I have it all saved somewhere, but his response, in so many words was, “I will Eat what I want. Good thing there’s a breeding program.”
This new ‘nice guy’ version of him is just a rip-off of JIGGIN’ With JORDAN and DALLMYD.
Just a ploy to get more views, and to appeal to the growing interest in octopuses. The videos I saw back then rarely topped five hundred views.
If you don’t realize that chasing down these poor animals in the middle of the ocean, removing them from the bottom where they feel safe, and then sticking them to girl’s asses, like an eight-year-old boy, stresses these animals to the max, you’re part of the problem as well. Don’t be part of the problem.
I don’t know him personally, so perhaps my lengthy message eventually got through to him, but I doubt it. The ADHD, narcissist, making jokes about fingering girls is the real Shane, so far as my well-educated opinion can tell.

Maybe next time he tries to "give a hole some double finger action" - he'll find the inhabitant is a stomatopod, not a cephalopod. He'd learn his lesson pretty quick.
I find his clickbait, over hyped style, lack of any significant marine knowledge, and general dressing up of hot girls in thongs as marine ecology pretty irritating - for some reason he seems to have reached peak algorithm at the moment and you can't move for CZcams recommending his content.
I don't watch the problem on killing octopus. Are you 100% vegan and you don't eat anything that comes from animals? (Actually doesn't matter, plants can feel pain to)
It's the circle of life, do you think nature is like Disney? It's probably that the octopus that he caught will end being the food of other octopus... Or maybe of a shark??? Why the sharks or other octopus and animals have the right to brutally murder what they want but the humans don't??
Also you're wrong, Shane's also had a lot of videos about cleaning the ocean in the same time that he used to spearfish octopus (also you're portraying him as 1000% more brutal than he actually was...)
I don't see any hypocrisy on playing with little octopuses while killing and eating the big ones 🤷🏽♀️ I think you have a lot of envy from Shane because he is cool, brave, sexy, and a very good fisher! 😍😘
I hope that someday he will post again catch and cook octopus videos (and also teaching the girls how to fish!)
