Those tiny pieces of fiberglass are what a fiberglass boat turns into after hitting the rocks/surf. I saw the wreck of a 28 foot sea swirl striper on the rocks outside of Ensenada harbor. The only thing that I could recognize as coming from a boat were the stainless steel railings. Everything else was smashed into 3-6 inch pieces.

It's crazy how much pollution one sunken boat contributes. Wow...my heart breaks for our oceans. Its truly inspiring to see u guys doing this. I wish I was even semi good at holding my breath but I have bad lungs so...i dont think i could do this without scuba gear coz I'd have to surface so much for air. The waters where I live are exceptionally cold as well...so...unfortunately to do what u do where I live just would take a lot more preparation and probably training as well...think it's probably a lot darker and murkier in our waters too, visibility might be difficult. (Pacific northwest, washington) :) good job you two! Your both hands down wonderful humans!

So cool man, absolutely love seeing you guys do something that you obviously enjoy but is also beneficial to the environment like that! I’ve said it before but I can’t say it enough, there needs to be more of this in the water and on land! If everybody just picked up a couple of pieces of garbage, on land you don’t even need to go out of your way! I know you guys know this! I just wish that people could stop being so materialistic and society would stop pushing for disposable crap and push reusable things/devices! Anyway, I’m not trying to bark on a pedestal! Lol! This video made me think of fashioning a rope with knots and bags connected to those knots spaced out so you could continue to stuff bags without having to keep going to shore and then just pull the rope in…can use some of the tent stuff you found to secure to beach lolz :) thanks for the adventures! I would love to come here and help clean. I’ve tried cleaning at the beach I live near but was yelled at by fish and game saying I had no right to clean it. So confusing!!!! I’m a major clean advocate for the planet and loving keeping Mother Nature happy by cleaning her. I can’t wait for spring to try and clean more and help at other beaches.

I gotta say, the ocean floor clean up videos are the best and I love the way Shane narrates them. I know where you were and won’t say but I don’t go there much cuz I am afraid of sharks and last month I went there and my friend started swimming back to shore cuz of a tiger shark sighting and in the rush to get back to shore she bashed her head in reef and I had to spend rest of day at Waianae Comp ER.
