I live in Oklahoma and didn't see the ocen until I was 23. My mom lied and still wouldnt stop so at 30 I actually got to get in it on a work trip. Until I started watching youtube I never knew how much trash was out there. Your videos are great and bringing attention to everyone even ppl like me who honestly never thought about how much trash is out there! (I know I missed my typo on Ocean. I left it to bother you)
Legit question, is it better for you to remove items like this even though it looks like you’re disturbing the ecosystem that built around it or is it best to remove it?
I've thought about this a lot too, and I think in some cases you are indeed, disturbing the ecosystem that's been built around a foreign object, but I suppose there could be benefits too.
I think you gotta let the biodegradable stuff remain in there. If its a peice of plastic, even if there are things breeding around it, it may just float away or overstay its welcome in the water and end up being kinda dangerous in the long run. Idk what these kind of bags are made of. But if ita natural cloth, i dont see any long term harm that could happen. But in this case, there wasnt a lotta organisms breeding on it either, maybe 'killing' a bit of algae is good for the ocean in the big picture?

i watched one of ur other videos what case are u using with ur phone underwater? i kinda want to try this in our rivers locally or near our oceans as well i think itd be very satisfying and something new for me to try :)
I grew up in Michigan so we are about water. What kind of people throw their trash, hair ties, bags towels, etc... I realize stuff falls off boats, usually its people that have no idea how to secure their items cause they're out to get drunk and save their social justice for the internet.
