Thank you!!! The very first suggestion - the door latch - was my problem. It took just one tiny adjustment and the night before a Thanksgiving with 14 guests - I’m back in business! What a Godsend. Thank you again.
@@repairclinic I would love to give you a huge thank you and lots of accolades but I’m so bad at technology I can’t make it work! Maybe you can forward this message?
Not at all. This is all basic stuff anyone can do with CZcams University. Using a multimeter should be something a normal person should have a vague understanding of to begin with or high school failed you I've done all of these things and replaced control boards with absolutely no education in electronics.... It's all dead simple
@@BrokedDownPalace you are absolutely right. I’ve done all these things along with designing and building packaging machines. I quit government school at 16 because I realized it was failing everyone. This is all common simple knowledge that yes anyone should be able to grasp. Unfortunately we live in a day and age where it seems difficult to understand what sex you are.
Fixed my GE dishwasher 👍 replaced the control board I ordered from RepairClinic. Took couple months for the part as it was out of stock but it's was worth the wait. And they shipped to Canada. Awesome 👍
I just fixed our Kitchen Aid dishwasher that had been having troubles with the electrical panel going off and on intermittently. The control panel had always been glitchy and we had a repairman come in several times who told us the computer was probably going out and this was when it was barely 2 years old. He told us we would need to replace the machine when it finally died. Well, I took the door off and noticed the connection was loose. So I pushed it back in and the dishwasher panel works perfectly now. I also cleaned the latch too. 🎉
It probably is the same part. The dial timer. These appliances are cookie cutter technology and manufacture. Also to know, all these machines come with schematic diagrams taped somewhere inside each machine. Pretty cool. I've repaired my washing machine, my clothes dryer and my dishwasher. I'm not an appliance tech.
Its the best way to see for sure if components are are working or not. You could us a battery a flashlight bulb and some wire to make a continuity tester. Working the switch or placing across a fuse should light up the bulb. If not the circuit is broken. Otherwise you replace components by guessing and costing you more than the price of a cheap volt/ohm meter. If you get one and you don't plan to use it much, be sure to store it without the batteries left in it.
My old GE GLD4500R00BB wouldn't start reliably. A latch engages the door and presses on plunger to some miro-switches that verify the door is closed before allowing the washer to start. All it took to fix the problem was to bend the latch downward, so it would better engage the micro-switches. No parts for sale web site will tell you the check this because it doesn't sell any new parts!
I've got the old school dial timer. Ever since this Whirlpool machine started acting up, I was smelling something. It wasn't tripping the breaker. I could get it to run for a second by unplugging it and then plugging it back in to the wall socket. I think the smell is a poor connection. It's working and I didn't do anything! Sounds logical. I'm going after the door wiring at the hinge.
I have a newer Frigidaire dishwasher the lights come on the lock is good on the door however it will not start the lights stay on they do not flash which means the latch is good but I can’t figure out why it will not start
its a smeg that wont start , start button comes on but not the key in button lights , i turned the pwr of /on , no go , 1 1/2 yrs old , it was working last week
make sure the door is closed all the way. if it seems closed, open it and close it forcefully. twice now that has fixed No Start, No Reset, No Choice of wash modes.
Kenmore 630 keeps showing E 24 error code. Filter has been cleaned, as well as the all the hoses & pipes. I’m at my wit’s end. Sometimes it takes 10 tries to get it to start. 😖
I have a maytag model mdb6600aww quiet series 200, which will fill but not start to wash. Push the start button again it will drain. Replaced door latch module and circuit board, still nothing. Any suggestions?

I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked. So try that first. Lol
Step 1: get a masters degree in electrical engineering 🤣

Touch pad all works lights turn on I hear a motor but it won’t actually run water
I love this site! You have helped me so much. Not too mention the money you have saved me by fixing it myself! Thanks Repair Clinic!
Also on some newer models there is a small reset button behind the bottom access panel that may need to be pushed.

Anyone who expects to repair electronics has a multi meter. Common sense. You are making yourself look dumb.
Thanks.

Very good!
You guys should include clogged drain hose in this top causes....
drew money we fixed our clogged drain hose problem now it doesn’t even turn on at all, what should be the issue?

Same. Mine will start after messing with it while troubleshooting. Latch is working because the cancel functions only when closed won't while open.

I have a diplomat ADP8352,
And it looses power when the door is closed or open.
The only time it has power is when it’s just barely closed.
What means F3
It never starts easy.
way to much info. very few people know how use a meter

Having an issue with my LG dishwasher. Please see video. Any ideas what I can do to fix: @Wkd4
Model number dw80 m3021us
Samsung
Lol I had the eletric switch off xd
Just pay the service tech that most likely doesn’t have a masters degree to test it or learn how to use a multimeter.
Any service tech with a masters degree won’t get paid enough from a repair company lol that’s why it’s rare for a service tech to have one
wHERE IS THE SEARCH BAR TO ENTER THE MODEL NO
on the website they mention in the video
My lg stays broke more than it works.
Seems that LG products arent like they use to be. LG is starting to be that brand you’d stay away from ...
