That final shot kinda reminded of the Darth Maul fan film where Sidious lured a group of Jedi to Maul’s training grounds and Maul faced off against them in the forest.

Exactly, we won’t see Palpatine I don’t reckon, this takes place 100 years before Phantom Menace and Palpatine isn’t 100+ years old in episode 1 so we defo won’t see him. However we most likely will see Plagueis, either as a padawan or him as the Sith Lord

I also think you may have missed a key detail. or didn't mention it. Mae was a former padawan. So she isn't completely unskilled in the ways of the Force when she fights Indara.
I believe the opening scene of this trailer is a flashback. I think the little girl that sees fire is a young Mae. She see's fire and then the trailer shows us Mae running through a forest with fire in the background. She was having visions of her future at a young age, which would make her a powerful youngling.
Maybe the future even was her family being killed and the Jedi didn't prevent it. Maybe they didn't believe her visions. So she is filled with anger and they kick her out of the order or she leaves because she lost faith.
But she isn't necessarily evil. And the Young Padawan's we see are Maes age, probably young Jedi that she trained with, perhaps sent to track her down; friends who knew her.
Probably the Sith is running around killing people, and the Jedi are mislead into thinking it is Mae, since the Sith don't exist to them yet.
Well, there are sith around..........just in the shadows.

No it’s spot on , according to the lore he was approximately 115 when he died so if Plagueis could make an appearance as a Child even it would be cool to see on the screen 👏🏾.

Shin didn't get enough screen time for any real character development she did seem loyal and devoted to her master until one conversation and her very next scene she suddenly wasn't, and after that she just seemed to be reacting to her ever increasingly worsening situation. I wouldn't call it a transformation. They have the foundation of a pretty decent character there but knowing disney they will screw it up.

The Acolyte is set in the High Republic Era (1-5 centuries BBY), so the Republic, Clone, Imperial, and First Empire characters are 100 to 500 years in the future and irrelevant. One Hundred to Five Hundred years in the future.
Got look at the positive. After actor Lee Jung Jae is finished with this film; Disney might cast him to play Mr. Negative in a future Spiderman movie.

It would be a good plot for a dark sider to walk away and be more balanced in the Force like ex-Sith/Dark Jedi Sett Harth as he cloned himself for over a thousand of yrs every 30yrs. The Sith is after him for abandoning them and both the Jedi&Sith is after him since they're curious how a dark sider can prolong his life. Master Fay is still around until the clone wars having a nomadic life following where the Force needs her. I think these live series should be treated as novels that has some Legends continuity to have a consistent plot.

bring in one of the skarsguards for something and maybe the actor who played bronn in got, the nightsisters, the trade federation, perhaps Vectivus, tenebrous or plagueis seen pulling strings behind the scenes to engineer conflicts. Politically, perhaps see the dismantling of starlight beacons/jedi orbital stations, so the outer and mid rim sectors become fertile ground for sith/dark side activity.
Maybe there's a subplot crisis over hyperdrive energy as the space whales disappeared years ago, so they need to find an alternative power source, jedi then sent as envoys to hold talks with planets rich in plasma or reactive crystal resources to set up power plants and mines- we see some powerful organisations become involved in it who we know from being later separatist leaders (techno union and commerce guild maybe among others like energypac or future power fund). Thus intermingled with the republic in more complicated ways to make any future corruption inevitable as the republic sorta ends up in a position of owing these groups for continued power and productivity, to not be sent back a thousand years in terms of time and travel.
The dark-sider doesnt per se have to be a 'he', as you mentioned multiple times.
Palpatine is unlikely since he is a human. He wasn't even born yet.

Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis were not human Sith Lords and this is around their time period as the dark lords I feel like we will at least see one of them hopefully

No as this is set during The High Republic Era, Revan is from SWTOR/KOTOR an entirely different era older than the high republic.

If this does take place 100 years before phantom menace, which is commonly cited Palpatine would not be born yet. His master, darth plagueis is only 15 during this point in time. Plagueis' master, Tenebrous would be alive during this time but neither plaguies or tenebrous are human so it cant be either of them on the rocks.

In the books there are plenty of non force users or non jedi/sith who may still have some force sensitivity not only hang with Jedi in fights but also kill them. Depends on the situation and preparedness

In Bane novels there was a Twi lek warrior who pretty much easily out fought a Jedi Knight in one on one combat forcing him to basically commit seppuku. In Plagueis novel Maul is injured by a non force user who has a high m count... There are also assassins trained to kill force users in that same book. Jedi were strong collectively but not invincible
This trend of modern feminists imbuing every show/movie with misandry has become a problem for us fantasy/sci- fans. And what makes it so much worse is that if we comment about it we're called misogynists. This needs to stop.
It's also so extremely hypocritical and devious of them. They have become the very thing they hated in men. The stories used to have great women and men as characters, not this all-woman casting and repeating theme of demeaning men that we've seen for years now. Equality would equally represent male and female, not one or the other. It's creating more cultural problems then helping.
Being a published author, Hollywood needs to stop lazily shoving their political crap into their productions, because it breaks all emersion and is creating more division and culture wars. Also, good writers with skill and care can put a parable that's uplifting for the world into a story and that still have a great plot, world building, and character development. This is just fan fiction surface level writing that uses virtue signaling to attack anyone who critiques it.
Counterpoint to your argument. For the past decades, men were heroes and women were the damsels in distress. When the hero was a woman, no one really cared to see their movies. If you say Terminator, the counter is that they went to see Arnold. Most of this backlash started when "girls" invaded the hallowed halls of male gamers and fields of math, science, and technology. I will say it is about time the women should get equal time.
That's just not true. Stop lying. I can think of so many stories with strong female characters. Also, you have to consider that many of these stories, like x-men for example, which I grew up on in the 90's, were written by men for a male demographic. There was nothing sexist about it, and they still had strong female characters who were awesome; like Rogue, Storm, Jean Grey, etc....
