What is Transfer Tuesday?
It was coined by Mary from @PenniesNotPerfection and it's the day of the week where you move ANY amount of money to ANY of your financial goals (debt, savings, investments, sinking funds, etc.).
I tend to transfer money multiple times a week to my various goals, but I always make a transfer on Tuesday as well!
What's the point?
You will make quicker progress the more transfers you make (less interest paid on debt, more interest gained in your savings accounts, more money compounding in your investments). It also helps your money mindset because it feels good to make progress on a regular basis!

Heyy loves, for transfer Tuesday I was able to move extra funds over from my car insurance to my student loans savings.
My transfer. My now old job’s 401k rolled into Schwab traditional and second Roth. Traditional IRA balance is now all SWPPX. Haven’t decided on Roth yet. Maybe I’ll just roll over my other Roth because I learned that the 401(k) rollover won’t count towards the yearly max contribution.
yes queen you deserve it all! my update: i've been tracking all my expenses for about a month and a half now, that way i can decide on numbers to budget in the upcoming months. i've also been putting money towards a credit card balance (0 interest for the next year). thanks for the inspo!

Happy Transfer Tuesday! I’m waiting for the 15th to transfer extra funds to my car loan. It’s new so I’m testing the system as my last transfer (before my first auto payment pulled the interest from the total).

I used your M1 Finance referral link 3 years ago, right around the same time you started contributing to them. It has been an extra bucket for me as I have focused first on maxing out my 401K and ROTH IRA contributions. I automatically transfer $100 to M1 each month, and throw in extra from time to time. It currently sits around $5300, Mostly in VTI. I also have a few Dividend individual stocks in different business segments-mostly for fun:) Also bummed by the $3 monthly charge, but I am going to hang on to it- shouldn't be too long before it gets to the 10K minimum.
My profile- 49yrs old/married with two teenagers ages 17 and 13.
Mortage paid off except for a 17K HELOC balance at 8.5%. Putting 1K per month towards that. I was hoping these interest rates would start to come back down for the 2nd half or 2024. Oh well...Paying approx 120 per month in interest. No other debt at all.
Love your channel-I rarely if ever miss a Transfer Tuesday. No pressure😅
