    hey! what about hold both VGT+QQQM as growth ETFs in portfolio with VOO maybe another ETF like SMH?

      All this could be an option. Although there is some overlap between them all, especially between VGT and QQQM (48%).

    This is a fantastic breakdown of these two ETFs. You should have more subscribers, this is good stuff.

      Agreed, this is a well thought thought out review of both. Personally, I invest in QQQM. I also invest in the SMH etf. So, it do invest towards "the future " of growth.

      You are welcome. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer as I dont know you. If this allocation suits your needs and risk/age profile, then it should work in your circumstances!

    VOO 50%, VGT 25%, QQQM 15%, SCHD 10%. Set it and forget it. You’re welcome

      Can you explain how you came up with these % numbers?

  • @jayeramdewor1331

    I invest in both 50/50 %

    • @andriyblokhin
      @andriyblokhin  Před 3 měsíci

      They have about 50% overlap, though. So, about half of your money invested in them does the same thing. As long as you are okay with that, this is an option.

    Why not XLK? 🤔🧐

    • @andriyblokhin
      @andriyblokhin  Před 3 měsíci +2

      XLK is very similar to VGT, with about 78% overlap. It is less closer to QQQ, though (45% overlap, which is still high).

      @@andriyblokhin I'm new to this. So I was just curious since XLK has outperformed VGT for the most part no matter how far back I go.. And is slightly less expensive with a tiny bit more dividends. Less holdings than vgt but that hasn't seemed to matter yet.🤔🧐

    • @andriyblokhin
      @andriyblokhin  Před 3 měsíci +1

      These are both fantastic ETFs, but they are very similar to each other. Yes, there could be performance differences here and there, but long-term, they will likely perform on par. Looking at their total returns (price appreciation + dividends and it's always best to look at total returns as opposed to dividends and price in isolation) for 10- and 15-year horizon, it is a very close match. Expense ratios are basically the same. If you are choosing between these two, either of them will work great.

      Yes, you can as long you know that they overlap and you could have deployed your capital more profitably elsewhere.

      @@andriyblokhin Totally aware of it, and not a problem👍😉
