GQ, next time with Russell, you MUST have a segment devoted to Backdraft! Another suggestion: please allow the final edits to have some of the subject's pauses instead of cutting so quickly to a different camera angle. Allow the interview to breathe. And don't fret, we won't get bored.

Kurt's Santa is my favorite movie Santa of all time! He had such a young at heart, fun, sometimes stern, but always compassionate vibe about him. Tons of humor and a genuine twinkle in his eye! My favorite scene is when he's in jail with all of the "bad guys" and you knew they were probably all supposed to be on the naughty list but Santa loved them anyway and Kurt played that aspect of Santa brilliantly! I wish they would have given us more of what Kurt had to say about that role because it's my favorite role of his! I'm super glad to see he was so proud of it!

only because it came out around the same time as E.T. which had way more marketing and without the internet thats really all you had to go by. When you have 2 aliem type movies most non horror lovers are gravitating towards E.T.

If it came out now then it would savaged even more by the critics because of the all male cast. That’s a big no-no these days.

If the internet was back then it would have been those movies with like 25% critic score and 100% consumer score. It was a hard movie to rent. It was out or if you got one it was played out and poor quality.
