Fabi was focusing on the imminent mate opportunity with a discovered check from behind the queen

Fabi pinned her with his bishop and took her open file with his battering ram. The position was equal, there was a race but Fabi pushed his pawn all the way to the end and promoted. Tania not used to no increment simply ran out of time. Fabi won prematurely and needless to say that Tania was dissatisfied. She then took the board in her room and started a game against herself until she finally won also, by utilising the black bishop. The whole game took just 69 moves.
