  • I can now finally continue my series of Landscape Photography guide videos from Iceland. Shot in gorgeous and sharp 4K I'll show you some of the most epic must see locations Iceland has to offer! In this episode we'll visit the massive volcano crater Hverfjall next to Lake Myvatn in north-eastern Iceland. Here I'll show some of my most epic drone footage ever and with this intro I hope to hook you for the rest of the series. Beside doing presentations of the different locations I'll continue with the landscape photography vlog and educational content.

Always about the place and the photography, never about Mads Peter Iversen (despite a very engaging personality and very good video work and great photography) - rapidly becoming my favourite CZcams photography vlog for that reason.

I've been saving my money to get to Iceland and trying to schedule it so that you will be my tour leader! I love your videos: so full of information without all the blah blah blah that precede the actual "meat" of the videos done by other YTers more interested in listening to themselves talk than in benefiting the viewer.

Iceland Photo tours and I just looked at YOUR website www.mpiphoto.dk/. Lofoten may be too far for what time I have off. Do you ever lead any tours anywhere during the WARMER months?

Having visited at the peak of summer HVERFJALL is impossible to get scale without a drone, such a difference to other seasons - we felt like we were on Mars as we walked up the slope to the crater rim. I found some interesting opportunities at Hverir and the Myvatn Nature Baths would offer great opportunity for Northern Lights as well.

Oh man, that video was insane! I can't imagine anyone would be able to watch it and not feel like packing their bags and taking a spontaneous trip to Iceland. Fantastic cinematography too, an opening sequence worthy of any professional Planet Earth-esque documentary/tv series. Keep up the fantastic work - I am already looking forward to catching the rest of the episodes!

Hi Mads. It's an epic shame that i have watched all your videos from the Iceland series and yet this is my first comment. But you so deserve it for the quality of your work, your passion and also your impact on redefining my thoughts on photography. The intro to this video made me wanna jump to a plane and return to Iceland immediately. Your channel is on my top 3 list for so long now and i am so glad and thankful for finding you here on you tube. Keep the good(amazing) work man,and i'll keep waiting for those notifications from your channel :) :) :) !!! Cheers

Hi Mads. This is an outstanding video. You've now taken your film making to a higher level and are one of best CZcams landscape photography vloggers. I'm sure still photography will always be your first love (as your stunning images prove) but you have a real talent for film making. What a fantastic location Hverfjall is ! I bet no two days are ever the same there. Finally, I hope your channel continues to grow and you get the success you deserve.

Hi Mads. Just wanted to drop a line and say that this was a very well put together film. I'm fairly sure this is my first video I've watched from you, and I'm certainly glad I gave it a go.
I've visited Iceland as a youngster, and ever since then I've wanted to take the landscape photographers pilgrimage properly. Until then, this video series will have to suffice I guess :)
Loved the image at 14:35, made well use of the surroundings. Greetings from a fellow Scandinavian and lots of luck with the series. I can see it's a lot of work put into them!
Looking forward to see more from you mate! All the best, Oddbjørn

Great video Mads...really enjoyed the opening sequence...shame my 4K TV is broken at the moment so had to slum it on my 2K monitor... still looked really good. Loved the location...but my first thought was that I wanted to put on my trail running shoes and run the rim. Really looking forward to the next episode.
