I am saving money for the Onefinity elite for woodworkers. I am getting so excited. I have $2168 saved. I created a excel file tracking my money. It will take about 6 months to achieve the goal, but well worth it. 9 .5 months and with the options I want it will be in range. I have worked in the computer field for over 40 years. Add in 10 years in the submarine force. I was a Master Training Specialist teaching for the Navy. I left there and went into the medical field and that's where I have been ever since.

Not only was the video one of the best "How To Assemble" clips I have seen; but the machine itself looks to be well ahead of other machines in it's price range (as far as structure.and design).
That said a try to their website and you are met with the message: "All machines are backordered". I saw no information as to why or when they would be available.

i bought a longmill mk1 1 month before the mk2 suddenly showed up to actually support the weight of the gantry properly. a year later still cant do a single project without it aborting or disconnectint from the computer run software, and cant get better than .3mm accuracy. wasted money and if i had know this i would have gotten it. but now im broke because icant deliver complete matching products and killed my company. Sienci didnt send me the power cord that goes into the controller (not the wall plug side) and when i told them, they sent me a regular computer power cord and hex nuts. came with bent linear rails and they said the wobble was within tolerance. so ya, this video makes me wish i chose the right canadian company. kinda sad but wish i could get one now

Yes. You can end up with a trapezoid if you don't make sure both Y are exactly the same length which they almost surely will be, AND measure diagonally across them when placing them.
There have been multiple user forum posts showing the problem since this original assembly video was made.
Once placed with a screw or two in each foot, you should then using gcode move a V bit to 4 equally spaced corners, not at limits of machine, at least a couple feet apart to create dimples on the top in a square, then confirm it's diagonals are dead on. Once verified, install all foot screws. If not, adjust and repeat.

We just ordered one to find out that by the time we go it, we could have paid 200 more for x-50. If we want to upgrade it, it is going to cost $500 now, so yea disappointed. You could have just sent us an email and asked about it.

The upgrade program = the same cost.

@@OnefinityCNC It is about $172 more, are you saying, if we get an upgrade you will match it?

Is it necessary to purge an active file shown on monitor screen prior to downloading another? tyty1936@yahoo.com. When I attempt to download a file I get a bold X at end of file name. This is off of a 2.0 32GB flash drive.

And YES its that easy to put together, got mine a few days ago. You could not, if you was any kind of honest person, Say you built this machine. It does not reach the skill level of building anything. If you can manage to put the circle into the round hole. You can put this machine together.
