Fantastic Five: Matthew Pavlich's best moments | AFL

Fremantle's most decorated player led the club to its first ever Grand Final appearance, played 353 games and kicked 700 goals - both records for the Western Australian side. Remarkably, Pavlich was named All Australian in defence, midfield and forward through his illustrious playing days.

Dude got 700 goals and only played half his career as a forward... imagine if he was a forward the whole time. Just goes to show how versatile he was. Could play literally ANY position and play it well! There are many top players who can't do that.

to think he is the best that’s ever played. Many stats that makes a good footballer. I also think it’s very subjective I believe bont is best player with how he leads and his defensive efforts and I know a lot of people would disagree.

Pav was a legend. Once he retired freo went down big time. Definitely not over rated.
