Tom, I mean this in the most sincere way possible, but you have the body language of my 76 year old Persian grandfather. It's uncanny how comforting it is. Hope you have a good day dude!
Love the little Bill Murray "Peter Venkman" skip in front of Lincoln Center. Sick Ghostbusters Plug.
I am at a point in my life where I check everyday for new Tom Delgado uploads, my wife and I impersonate him and our weekend is now made because we can watch his latest work. Yeah, that's how we roll in the mid-west at middle age! =) So...Chill Out
The Midwest must be a dismal place to live if impersonating this guy's videos is the highlight of the week. I'm sorry
😂 🤣
Awwww, middle age goals. As you and your wife should👏🏾😁
Saaaameeee
You sound buthurt
upper west side is the best side. my all time fav nyc neighborhood
"I think the cat's getting upset..." Hahaha 😂
Ha! He gets jealous of visitors I suppose!
OMG, Gary for best dressed tour guide. Few people can pull of a handlebar mustache.
I like how educated you are of NYC. History thanks Tom
great having you back, i do feel bad for phil
15:42 Phil: *"You owe me nothing"* Tone sounds not happy, fed-up with hearing about not going along.
What does Tom mean by "us" previous to that? Are Tom and Phil friends/video team/couple/partners/married?
If not, why would you 'feel bad' on Phil not being able to go along assuming he is being paid to be the 🎥 assistant and Tom is on a limited production budget?
Phil has his own career. Give him the respect for his camera work. It's not easy given the speed Tom walks, especially with new running shoes. 😃
Asked the question because it detracts somewhat with the tour to hear a spat, arguement, developing in the video.
It’d be cool to showcase some comedy clubs of New York in a tour
the Ansiona also housed New York"s most famous bath house (continental baths) where Bette Midler and Barry Manilow performed for the clientele
I didn't need a Pillow Cube to watch this video but I sat through their 2-minute commercial, and a second one for a movie or something, just for Tom. Actually, that Pillow Cube looked pretty good.
Oh my, Tom knows all the celebs! Nicole Ashford from Ashford & Simpson! Solid as a rock!
I got that reference...thanks😊
It’s funny he mentioned gossip girl because I’ve been binging his tour videos and he reminds me so much of Dan Humphrey, exact same sense of humour 😆
Tom, you're still the best !
My old neighborhood,. So many good memories...thank you. I have my photos to remember.
Phil's back!
Lots of 1970s movie locations at 72nd St. They showed the 72nd St.Station in Death Wish (beginning) and, as you mentioned, in the Warriors. Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) lived at 33 Riverside Drive in Death Wish (where Jeff Goldblum's character and two other gang members assaulted his wife and daughter. Toward the Hudson from 72nd is where the murder of Roseann Quinn (depicted in the 1977 movie, Looking for Mr. Goodbar) took place.
Hi, big fan from Seattle area, your tours are great! I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, how neat to see the temple right there. I didn't realize it was so close to Lincoln Center. Thought I'd throw out, that NY temple took two years to build, and was dedicated in June, 2004. It's not as fancy as some temples, like the one in Salt Lake, but is beautiful on the inside and also, soundproof. Best wishes, looking forward to many more tours!!
30:10 and Wow I'm from Turkey and just reading about Morris Shinassi on Wikipedia..so interesting...I guessed he would be Jewish but would not imagine the journey of an Ottoman born Sephardic jew tobacco importer in 1890s to the NYC and build a mansion there❗️: THIS CHANNEL ROCKS and your guests are amazing too Tom 🙏👍👏👏
Did I just witness a tour guide duel
Good watching on a very rainy day in Sydney Australia. 4 inches so far in the last 12 hours.
Bright sunshine down here in Melbourne! Poor old NSW is getting pummelled.
Zabar's is always my traditional last stop before heading to the airport, to stock up on their coffee, babkas, and other edible souvenirs. They also have a killer kitchen gadget dept upstairs.
Zabars, the first time I entered the store, the power of the wonderful spices, the salami and the cheese stunned me in a memoriable way that I always remember. Loved shopping there. It felt like you were selecting items from around the world, and you were.
Late to this one but how lovely was the violin lady and her cat.
I stayed at the west side Y near Lincoln Center.
These tours are gold! I hope you can write your new shoes off as a business expense.
Sick video Thanks Tom
Love how you see the Cadillac Escalade drop off its owner at Raymour & Flanigan, then a couple of minutes later you see it cruising up Broadway. Loads of fascinating history in this. Thanks, Tommy. 🏆
I've stayed at HI NYC hostel on Amsterdam at 103rd for four trips to NYC. I like the upper West side. Really comfortable.
Nice 👍🏻 walking 🚶♀️ my friend thanks for sharing
Born and raised on the UWS, it was so cool seeing somebody on CZcams take a stroll through the neighborhood
That apple bank also had a pretty sick batting cage inside
LOVED the video, and don't worry. I'm chilled out. Loved the beautiful violins. If the customstax from the USA tlo the Netherlands weren't astronomically high I would love to buy one. They are breath takingly gorgeous 😍
I'm sure we can find a way!
Tom DELightfful tours. PERIOD!!!!
Just found your channel, this was such a fun guide! Love from the UK :)
omg why my eyes got watery when she made that violin to sing. I'd have never thought some had a real farm middle of Manhattan, rooftop :)! Such a great video again, amazing.
I love how you’ve been incorporating some more interviews with locals. As always, great job! I grew up in Brooklyn and you continue to teach me new facts and encourage me to exploremy city 😊❤️
I love how you give us history without making it sound like you’re a know it all, unlike some others on CZcams. The videos are amazing!
thats his personality its a gift
I love the ying yang, a fountain of knowledge in front of the camera & Phil “I don’t kno that” behind it 😂
I dont care about your video. I just have a passion for hitting Like buttons👍
I've enjoyed many of your video tours of New York City, but somehow I found this video to be especially informative, colorful, interesting, scenic and great. Muchas gracias por todas las informaciones historicas!
Wow this video was filled with such great content! Glad that Tom is back because I missed the Sick Plugs. IJS
What a fun episode, your tours are one of my week's highlights!
New Balance sponsor this man!
Solid as a rock!!!!!
Niiiiice
Solid as a Rock! Love that song.
Walking, walking, trying to remember the places I went back in the 60s. Ty.
Yesss, new video tour of NYC from Tom D!!! Not waiting for this all week..., nope. 😉
Hello tom, thanks for another great video, I got my information walk in for the day :-). Keep up the good work man.
Also I thought of an interesting video call me you should do a video on how to get around New York if you're in a wheelchair :-) I know it's a very specialized market but it would be interesting. I've had to figure out all sorts of interesting ways to get around Seattle; like entering one building on Pike Street going up too far and getting out just to end up on the street level with the market. I'm sure New York is the same way for anyone in a wheelchair lots of secret inside knowledge. Anyway it's just a thought.
Tom, so happy you are back, I missed your videos!
I love you the best You are a walking history Book Thank You Im thinking of moving back to NYC you are the most entertaining out there ...Love you
Great video. I would hit the like button twice if I could.
Totally loved the UWS, lived on Amsterdam Av.. 👍👍👍
Loved this one! I've been wanting you to do a UWS video for ages 😊 IDK what was cooler: the general history, the lovely old buildings, the violin lady or the Sugar Bar. I remember Ashford & Simpson's hit "Solid" from the 80s, but didn't know/had forgotten that they wrote "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "I'm Every Woman". Very cool! Cheers from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
I missed that.. I didn't know Ashford and Simpson wrote "Ain't no mountain high enough". That is one of my all-time favorites....Or "I am a Woman". Very nice too.
tom is THE BEST. among the rest 😂😜

He estado esperando este vídeo hace tiempo y no me defraudaste, Tom. Desconocía la historia anterior a la construcción del Lincoln Center. Me encanta el Upper West Side y pasear por Broadway es una de mis actividades favoritas cuando voy a NYC, conocer su historia la hace aún más interesante. Gracias, Tom!!
Keep goin Tom! I love your videos! Stay positive, keep your videos lighthearted and don’t stop! You’ll have hundreds of thousands subscribers one day!
Where I lived in the 1980s. So homesick.
Great interviews this time and nice video again. Helps to keep the content fresh, as well as the Gary intermezzo. Can't wait to see the next one. Cheers!
Thanks, Pierre!
Thanks for the tour of one of my favorite neighborhoods, Tom. Good to know the Sugar Bar is still around. Looking forward to more exciting videos!
It's the best!
I really enjoyed this, felt like I was there! I love living in Maui but need some urban feelies sometimes. Mahalo!
Everyone watching, please send Tom's video to 3 friends and encourage them to subscribe. There is a wealth of knowledge and entertainment here!
WELCOME BACK HOME and SAFE!! hi phil
Having very little of a life of our own, we feed off of Tom’s excellent videos. They are savory, a flavorful blend of comedy and history. A fondue dipped frolick through the city’s annals.
Another great tour! I have to be honest, I've never been that far up north in Manhattan. The furthest north I've been is 72nd street, never been to Harlem, never been to the Bronx. Although I have been on the circle line tour and we cruised past the northern tip of Manhattan, but that's not really like being there. Thanks for this tour Tom! It was really informative! Someday I will go up past 72nd street :)
