I understand not being able to stay and file for adjustment of status but what about getting married on a tourist visa then leaving and going back to your home country and filing the C1 from there?

What if I live in the USA and want to go to Nepal to marry them there? (She will eventually want to move here to live with me after) Is there anything I have to bring with me or file in the US or get before going there and going forward with this?

Its 2021 Aug, has this changed at all? Can we take the ESTA route now and get married afterwards?

  • @healthandwellness-winnie5440

K1 visa requires the two to have met at least once.
If i want to travel to the USA for that first meeting which visa application should i apply for?

I have a question about tourist visas. My fiance is from the Philippines and has been separated from her husband for 15 years. we were planning for her to go to Guam after she gets her tourist visa May 5th in Dubai, that's when her embassy visit is, but instead can she come here to the mainland USA and get a divorce either in Washington state or South dakota? Can you use getting a divorce as a reason for a tourist visa? Thank you in advance and I love your videos I learn a lot from them.

@@franklalic4939 they canceled her visa appointment with no notice or reason. Thank you Biden 🤬. So we're just working on getting a divorce in Dubai which will still count to come to the United States on a fiance visa.

@@Donster1968 yeah, our immigration process is extremely complicated and deranged. Yet, unvaccinated illegals from the south and now rampant refugees migrating to US dont need to face these immigration processes and long wait. Its very unfair and inhumane act…

Before anything, is it allowed to come to USA on a tourist visa to spend time with girlfriend/partner? If it is allowed, why for example after coming multiple times to USA with an esta visa there would be a problem that a couple gets married? Or would the American government refuse entry on esta visa if it is to spend time with partner?

Nothing wrong with your SO coming to the states to visit you.. you can even get married. But your SO can’t stay in the states.. she would have to go back and if you guys did get married.. you would have to fill out a K-3 visa (Spouse Visa) so she can come back to the states. I suggest filling out the K-1 Visa (fiancé visa) since the wait time is much shorter than the K-3

Base to my case, yes I did. I've had visited him from Canada to USA twice, and we got married during my 3rd visit. That happened after 4 mothts living together. I've submitted my I-485, application for green card base spousal while living with him. Sad I can't leave US until I get approved of my I-131

My girlfriend is visiting me on a tourist VISA. We’ve been together for more than a year and decided to get married. The purpose of her trip was to see if we could actually live together as she has never lived with a partner. Do you think we could marry and file for adjustment to status without much trouble? Or should she return to her country and apply for the K1 ?

As per law made by Trump you guys will have to wait for 90 days and then can get married and apply for adjustment of status. The new 90 day rule made in 2017.

I married a Mexican woman that I was dating for a while on a tourist visa. ( Didn't know that you can't do this) Just found this out today 10/27/2020 she was here again when Covid hit. Can she go home to see family for Christmas? I don't wan't to lose my beautiful wife. She is afraid she will go to jail. I told her that is not the case but, she is scared.

It's sad that you have to go do all this thing just to get married like the covid was already hard on us all and then you need to do so many in order to get married what if you do it the normal way and you get stuck in your country because off some sickness is not fair and really sad many people that are married or still busy with there documents and they could not see each other over 2 year or 3 even this has to change tho this is really painful
