- The career of Paul Pogba with Manchester United and Juventus has been nothing short of a disaster. But how did the World Cup winner with France end up on the end of a 4 year ban from football, forcing a potential early retirement? This is the full story of the World Record Paul Pogba and how his life turned upside down.

Recent reports are saying Pogba’s ban might be reduced which would mean he will return to football in just 2 MONTHS! Will he go to the Euro’s? 🤔
I have more chance of playing for france and im a Canadian national
I doubt he would go to the Euro’s. He’s a great baller on his day; however, France got hella ballers that could fill his position but none can do it like him ✨
GREAT job done, kiddo. #subbed : )
I very much doubt it. He has hardly played any football at all for like two years and there is no way he can be ready for the Euros from a physical point of view. And the few times he has played during the last two years very little suggest that he is close to some sort of form, nevermind the kind of form that gives you a place in France star studded midfield.
@@Kiham80 we also should remember that he’s been banned for doping

Nono I want to talk about mourinhos wrong statements.
Imagine in 2015, how crazy it would be if you said that Neymar, Hazard and Pogba would never win a single Ballon D'or.☹
Not very. Messi and Ronaldo are on a different planet to these 3. Hazard is absolute leagues ahead of Neymar and Pogba
@@Quattro_Joe Neymar is astronomically clear of hazard, behave 💀
@@thecalrichards Neymar is a diving show pony. He hasn’t done anything since leaving Messi and Suarez. Hazard was absolutely brilliant at Chelsea. Both had very short lived careers but hazard is by far the better player.

Don’t think any fan thought he would end up like this. His coaches might not be surprised tho.
I did. Ive been hating on this dudes lazy mentality for a long time every goal he scored for man u he was responsible for letting one in
When Mourinho put him in a deeper position at midfield under 4-2-3-1, his performance was very inconsistent. People said he didn't have much freedom to roam, which restricting his talent.
Then, Mourinho switched to a 4-3-3 formation and let him had more freedom, but he was still the same.
He got the talent, but doesn't have the commitment at all.
Jose's tactics are crap though. Changing a formation is not tactics btw this is why jose flopped with players like Salah and KDB.

100 mill your made for life.
Pogba took the gamble for more money and failed. He was on a good thing in Italy
@@IDFWU650 crazy how you compare a regular payed job over a multi million euro job as a footballer 🤣
Wanted to play just like him when I was in high school. He never should’ve went back to Man U
Pogba is the example I use when I try describe what separates the goods from the greats. Pogba no doubt has skill and technique. On his day he is one of the best in the world. Unfortunately he suffers from what a lot players suffer from when they get to a certain level of wealth. Complacency. Once Pogba started to earn the big bucks and the fame, his hunger for the game started to fade along with his passion for the game. I don't like people using United as the excuse for his downfall, because Zlatan's quality didn't drop. It's down to the player, not the club.
The great players don't have this issue. You can throw whatever fame and money you want at them, but they will stay focused and still wear their heart on their sleeve every time they step onto the pitch.
finished
Yep. Exactly this. The biggest example is Cristiano Ronaldo. People can hate him, he was many times the most well paid footballer in the planet (like right now). Boo him, cheer him, praise him, over-praise him, under-praise him, over-hate him, call him finished, whatever. The guy trains like a machine regardless and eats grass if necessary every game.
Bro played for one of the worst United eras in a midfield alongside Fred and McTominay misused by poor management, what did u expect him to accomplish there compare to De Bruyne and Modric which had their teams stacked with world class players?
United is a graveyard for talents.
@@moonvenerable7897 blah blah blah, he stopped trying. Bruno has played in the same United, talent wise he's not on Pogba's level but he's always committed. Yes Man wasn't and still isn't stacked with talents like city but you can't take all the blanket away from Pogba
@@directorme6669 Warra commitment trophy for Bruno, the whiner was good in the first season until he became a toss of the coin chance creator that does things over and over again until it works 2 out of 10 times..simply giving away the ball to the opposition.
United is mostly to blame as they don't know what the fuck they're doing because of poor management and lack of quality in the midfield, but at least he played with a quality cdm Casemiro unlike Pogba.
I think for all the mistakes, bad decisions he's made & the unfortunate things that have happened to him, he's a decorated player that has played at the highest level for some of the best teams in the world. He's had a good career.
He had the wrong agent - a very greedy human being !!!!
He had a couple of good seasons at Juventus and won the WC with most op team. Other than that, shit career for the poyential.
Pogba is a fair-weather player. Put him in a top team with great players around and he will shine and show some flairs. But he will never the type of player that win game on his own, unlike world class midfielders: Zidane, Gerrard, Iniesta, Pirlo, etc
*Pogtential @@mojebi3804
@@mojebi3804yeah no mabape and kante did all the work in world cup bud
He was not and never the deepest midfielder at United. He always had someone next to him who sits deeper, the idea was to take advantage of his impressive passing range from deep, and gallop forward to make late arrivals at the opposition box to score from around the semi-circle. He himself publicly said he fancied himself as a Pirlo. His problem was that he was often extremely lazy and only wanted to do what he feels easy, usually jogging back only if he feels like putting on a show of effort that day. Sometimes he dallied on the ball so long and lost the ball easily, then didn't bother getting up after pretending to be fouled. He puts out an 8/10 or higher only once every 8-10 games, then disappears again the next few weeks. Like Mourinho said about his World Cup triumph - Pogba could focus in a short few weeks like the tournament, but he needed to prove he has the hunger and focus to do it consistently over a season, which he still hasn't since 2018. In fact, I recall he was largely anonymous during the group stages.
The narrative of "building a team around a player" is such bullshit, go look at Brighton, City or Liverpool, their teams are not built around a single player alone.
Which is why United are a team of individuals relying on moments of brilliance. No system or style of play.
lol lazy?? you are being a parrot. was Rooney lazy?? by your logic he was but that term is always reserved for certain people for scapegoating and badmouthing.
@@am5790Where did he call Rooney lazy?

Missed out on the worst bits about his peak unprofessional
behaviour during his second spell at Utd. Publicly flirting with a move for years, undermining the manager at multiple instances, his agent running his mouth ahead of crucial ties about his potential moves, not taking his injuries and Rehab seriously and instead jetting off to different continents and playing basketball in when he should’ve been resting his hamstring, and THAT post after Jose got sacked. Shit professional , glad his career came to a standstill. Should be the fate of everyone who doesn’t take their professionalism seriously.
Yup. People keep talking about 'complacency', but a good look and it's clear Progba's problem was *ego and entitlement* - to the extent he was prepared to sabotage key points of his career to get whatever he felt 'deserved'. A cautionary tale indeed...

Grow up 😂😂😂😂 knobs head
Paul could use this long time to properly heal from all his injuries, stay fit, consistent practice of top level skills and conditioning for a top pro. If he does this, he would be able to takeover Europe at the age of 34 without the wear and tear of a 34 year old!
He would be absolutely finished with that much time out of football.
This ain’t Roblox kid
Much easier said than done, especially in elite level competition.
@@jibez he could do it if he stays match fit and sharp. Once you got the talent, all you need is fast reaction and stamina to play the game at a top level.

Pogba seems to represent every negative thing about modern day footballers. A grown manchild with no professionalism.
I stand by everything Mourinho said about him.
Man child is insane to say when he literally reached his dreams at such a young age. I don’t condone Paul’s actions but people need to realized how FUCKED the psychology of athletes is. Look at Dele Alli, Ben Arfa, Dimitri Payet, and of course Adriano
Mourinho was part of the issue to an extent and besides, Mourinho is a dictator in football and he never wanted Pogba, he only protected him from media because he was doing it for his employers not from his heart.
@@richardobiekwe9437 Mourinhos record speaks for itself though. He got man united 2nd that season, claiming it was his greatest achievement lol
Although Pogba did well in his early years, he became a hotdog with a god complex that was truly narcissistic while destructive to team building. He'll return to soccer in the Saudi league where he might do well if he gets rid of the destructive attitude. It'll be his last go around if he doesn't blow it.
In all honesty pogba will most likely not be back he was a clown in and off the pitch and his lack of commitment and professionalism is what held his potential back unfortunately. Always wanted to be the center of attention.
Judging anyone without understanding what they're good at is always a recipe for disaster. During the video you show Paul next to two others: one who made it (left of the picture) and the other, widely described as the best player in that team (better than Pogba) who didn't. Football can be a very sad game for a great many people. I genuinely feel for Paul Pogba, regardless of how much money he made or his perceived value. Every time I saw him I saw a very talented human, not the machine he was treated as. The other player was Ravel Morrison.
Nice vid👌🏾 glad we were able to witness his greatness
Great video! Love from 🇺🇸😎🤝🏽
The story of Pogba has to be one of the worst downfalls we’ve ever seen. As I learn more and more about the history of football, I find that there has been a lot of similar stories, and it makes me appreciate the insanely talented players that actually keep their head on straight and live up to the hype!
Yep! It makes you appreciate the players who give their everything and also have the talent to back it up. Especially in the modern era it seems to be one or the other
@@ScoreCentral_ Yes, makes you think he could have been another De Bruyne etc ... but it takes huge dedication to be that good and maintain that standard. People like Cantona, Beckham, Rooney and even Ronaldo at Man U had that work ethic.

Greed, laziness, overconfidence, uneducated and bad influence by family or agents are the main reasons of their failure.
A lot of high paid sportsmen went bankrupt after they retired. Only a few that can survive and made it
We now know that he was being bullied and extorted by his brothers since he was 16. Give the guy a break.
He has a chance to redeem himself. He should take it now before it’s too late. After all there aren’t many players as special as him. He should humble himself and return his form at Juve and he should take Pirlo’s advice and everything will work out.
Amazing production!

Is hard for me to believe Pogba was THAT young at that time, gosh time flies man 😮💨
Let's hope he he keeps on the fight for a life without negativity. I wish him and his family the best blessings.
he was one of my favourite players as this gifted deep playmaker with magic passes in juventus, sad it went this way
When he re-signed for Utd, I told a friend of mine he would be another Balotelli type, and would be a disruption and waste his career. I mean, he still achieved a lot in football, but nobody would say his career turned out well.

Just because someone won a World Cup and Praising them is the most stupid thing Football fans do.
Not really. He was in a good French team, but he’s a waste of space… arrogant, lazy, unloyal. Man Utd wasted time, money and effort on someone, not that special.

Success got to him too early. He clearly has the potential and ability but not the mentality. He played in a great Juve side in a less competitive league than the PL. He played in a great era for the France national team. But once at United, he had no such luxury of great teammates around. His standards dropped to the level of his teammates unfortunately. And most importantly he didn't have a father figure coach as he did at Juve and France. Jose isn't great working with kids. On hindsight, had he stayed at United and received the same mentoring and tough love as Ronaldo did from SAF, he might have become a real Ballon d'or winner.
Bingo. He had the physical abilities but mentally he was weak, and overtime his ego outgrew his abilities
Warra what if man.... Love the video

Still pains me what Pogba could have been for United, we never really supported him in the midfield and the state of our club when we picked up Pogba...
He should have been the greatest midfielder of his generation. Such a sad tale
Think de bruyne says no to that.... why do people think pogba ever was good when he could only perform next to decent football brains since he lacks this himself?
Most of you folk dont have the intelligence to recognise intelligence; so you lot will talk too much of this blind emotional crap easily destroyed when confronted with actual knowledge

Pogba fall is the greatest story of a spoiled player in a spoiled club in a spoiled league. lots of people enjoying the shitshow Man Utd have become.
Pogba is what happens when your ego outgrows your abilities
Pogba showed up when he played with players in his level. He performed everytime when he was with france. Loved him at utd but player's around kept letting him down.
Pogba played for one of the worst United eras in a midfield alongside Fred and McTominay misused by poor management, what did u expect him to accomplish there compare to De Bruyne and Modric which had their teams stacked with world class players?
Him suddenly playing at a world class level for the French National team is no coincidence, United is truly a graveyard for talents.
Then why didn’t he move on from the club before it was too late? Why didn’t he stay at Juve? Why wasn’t he playing at a high level in his 2nd stint & caught for doping? All I hear are excuses the man had all the talent in the world to be a generational player to basically be what Mbappe is now but he got arrogant, he got money hungry (it’s why he went back to Man U), & got complacent (never took rehab seriously so was consistently injured & inconsistent throughout the season) face it. HIS DOWNFALL WAS HIS OWN!!!
Man utd as a team and forcing his position change was a mess 😅😅

Pogba was fantastic. I think extra pitch problems were the problem. He became the most expensive player too young and thats a lot of pressure. Also MU was a horrible team at the time. Then the injuries. Family wasn't helping at all, I mean, his brother and his friends kidnap and extort him! I hope he can find peace away of fame and football. He is young and he deserves better.
Clubs really need to look at the serious possibility a player is a nobhead ... i think thats been the secret to villas success our players are sound with a captain like Ginny whos a down to earth jock and players like Ollie etc .. thats why news we after Zaha on a loan worry me hes a blatent nobhead and i dont get the change in our transfer policy (if its true ) as our owners have said character is very important in our transfer policy
You're definitely right. Look at McTominay: he's clearly not the most talented - or expensive - at Man U, but he's probably the most determined, and he's actually been one of their best players this year.
When he started thinking he's doing the club a favor by being there, that's when the downward spiral started because he stopped playing with full commitment. We are seeing the same with Rashford.
his Ego was bigger than his skill
it's always the certain type of people who are picked on and under the microscope while the mainstream types get away with their mediocrity.

With all the previous injuries, you gotta ask the questions how long the doping has been going on and if anything regarding his skill was even his accomplishment or that of drugs.
A grand total of 1 game got me rolling
One of the signings that pissed me off the most, alongside Vidal going to Bayern. These players had a massive future at Juventus and yet they chose to leave, preferably for the money.Very bad decisions from them
Vidal to Bayern wasn’t a bad move for the player. He was very good in Bayern. Vidal to Barca was the bad move.
His attitude was almost always terrible and the things he said to the media just gave his clubs headaches to deal with. He’s like an unfunny, less talented Bolatelli
All I heard is that he keeps getting injured, and his performance keeps dropping off, and now yah calling him trash. But on occasion, he still shows how good he is. Like every single player that keeps on getting injured. Ok yah
