For USA, make sure your unit is 110v and not 220v. Ask vendors before you purchase. Had to cancel my first order (220v) from AliExpress for correct unit (110v). You can of course purchase a voltage converter, but that’s just extra money spent. Hope this helps. /Bklyn👑

well hello sir i got a question for you and your followers. what are some of the good spot welders for larger battery packs easy enough for disabled person to use with 1 hand. any suggestions besides having someone else make them for me. i may be crippled but i think i could still kick butt with 1 arm. i want to make a large battery pack but with space between for more air flow not for compacted. 7s20p possible more like 30 or 40p. i believe the standard width of a 7s is 5 1/2 inches. i want alittle wider like 6 1/2 inches just to give alittle more airflow to keep cool.

I bought a Sunkko myself. However, it appears that when I power it up, my home fuses trigger. Did you have this issue? Do you have a certain setup to power it up?
I have a similar problem - fuses are about 16A, the seller claimed that it draws about 15A max, but when I change welding current over 35, then the fuse triggers. I think that it's startup current for the transformer and I can't do much about it - I'd like to change the fuse for 25A, but my family is afraid about that so... btw. I live in Poland and we have 230VAC 50Hz.
Thanks for your answers guys! Indeed, I had this welder working with 32A fuses. I also used it to make a battery pack. It's certainly not a professional tool, but if you're handling the welding with care it works.
The issue is with the fuses. If you have your home circuit set for 16 Amps, it's most likely 16 Amps for a reason (electrical cables heat up if you change the fuses to 20 Amps or more). So, before you change the fuses to 25A for instance it's better to discuss with an electrician.

After changing the plug to match the 220V (208V, in our case) outlet this worked OK. These are mostly junk inside, as seen in several videos, but like they also say in those videos: "you get what you pay for". Just beware you will need to rewire this.
Yes, its because these cells already have an insulator under the heat shrink (it is white). So I could add the paper insulator on top, but with the stock insulator and stock heat shrink, it would be a triple layer of protection. More than necessary, in my view.
This particular model does come with a foot pedal, but it doesn't include handheld probes. The foot pedal controls the pulse on the short welding arms on the front of the unit.
I believe it could run on a 2000w inverter, be aware that it has large capacitors inside which will create a very large startup surge, so you may find it better to turn the switch on the welder before the inverter and let the "soft start" on your inverter charge the caps more slowly to start with.
It comes with a chinese plug and depending on the supplier, also an adapter. I use the European adapter to plug into a normal European style 220V outlet. If you're in the US, you'll need to either get an adapter to plug into a 220V outlet in your house or get a 110V version, which unfortunately don't work as well.
i did notice this comment on the bottom of the welders i wonder if you could explain. 5. Rated current of tripping device of the leakage protection switch should be up to 60A. 6. For the requirement for electric leakage switch is more than 60 A, it is not recommended to use at home.

what a pos, return it with a turd added to the box and invoice them for the turd and time...both making the turd and using that turd rofl. you should do a tear test in reviews to show if its even making proper welds
ive laid logs in the comode that could weld better than that pos lol... actually im just about finished with a 6s2p super cap bank based welder... bout 100f up to 16v. maxwell 350f 2.7v per cap. mosfet switched, went with 4 at the moment but the board i etched has room for 2 more, 30a charge circuit with power p-fet to give the option to switch charger off at weld or let it on. Ran into apt hell and got delayed for 6 months but last week i sucessfully welded tabs togeather, a few welds in I had it dialed to weld with out blowing holes lol.

You may bend the copper probes slightly closer together to get a tighter spot weld for the positive end of battery

You should share that it's a 220v unit... most US viewers don't have "easy" access to 220v.

You could try to add a choke on in series with the primary but I would be you I wouldn't trust this crap anyway.

The issue is with the fuses. If you have your home circuit set for 16 Amps, it's most likely 16 Amps for a reason (electrical cables heat up if you change the fuses to 20 Amps or more). So, before you change the fuses to 25A for instance it's better to discuss with an electrician.

Don't buy a spot welder without the handheld probe if you are going to weld more than 2 parallel.

This particular model does come with a foot pedal, but it doesn't include handheld probes. The foot pedal controls the pulse on the short welding arms on the front of the unit.
