- Mt Washington, located on the Olympic Peninsula offers fantastic views in all directions. From here the entire Puget Sound basin lays before your feet, as do expansive views of the Olympic Mountain Range. Only a small number of hikers climb this mountain compared to nearby Mt Ellinor. There is no “official” trail and the route is steep with loose rock in places. Route finding and mountaineering skills are required to safely make it up the class 3 scramble sections. This mountain is a fine example of what makes the Pacific Northwest so special.

What an incredible experience and opportunity
So beautiful 😍
Greetings from the beach in Thailand. We were just thinking of our home in Lake Cushman after being here the last 6 months. Great video makes us really miss home! Thanks for the awesome footage up on the mountain:)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Stunning views! Great video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
I remember that Nick said all of that rock was sea bed pushed into the sky by the forces of the moving trench. While watching the heights in the video I thought of the sheer number of earthquakes it must have taken to get all that material so high. Thousands upon thousands. Your videos always have this effect on me. They are all so majestic.
Nick's videos are great. The only thing more impressive than the awesome imagery documented in this video is the story of how all that rock came to be there. Another stunning HikeArt video.
Summited for my 50th birthday. Certainly a thrill and dangerous.
Congratulations! It's a beautiful mountain.
Absolutely dangerous! Congrats old-timer. My son and I will try it this August. I’ll be 73. Im never afraid to call it off and it may be too much for me.
Epic hike!
