Get a few of those comments my self. Usually just grumpy people who think we lie for a living not realising how much time and effort go into these videos. Keep up the good work, I love your channel

Thank you for tackling what could be a thorny subject. Personally I always love to listen to reviewers' takes on the machines and I usually form some opinion using an aggregate of reviews. And even this only forms part of my overall opinion. Reviews are great but they never take the place of doing your own hard research. And you have to accept that MOST of these lasers are built in part or in whole in China where the quality is not always consistent. So no matter what you do you may end up with a bad sample of an otherwise good laser. I am much more concerned about the company I am buying from and their customer service than the actual laser itself 99% of the time.
But that being said I do thing the reviews have value as long as nobody doing them tries to hide the fact that they received the laser for free for review. Honesty and openness are the requirement for these reviews to have any merit. You have never given me any reason to think you are otherwise so I love following your channel.

I bought an Orion Motor Tech (omtech) 50w a few years back and it has never worked right from day one, had a bad tube they refused to replace, i requested a discount on a new one and they refused also, many of the screws were not tapped right or stripped, power supply died, the controller has intermittent issues, honestly it was a complete lemon and the "warranty" was useless.

please consider a video or test with board foam cutting. The remote control hobby that uses board foam would love to know the options for laser cutters with board foam. Thanks

I don't have a laser (yet), but I keep looking at the NEJE MAX 4 with air assist and honeycomb platform. Reason is work area is large enough at 29.52” x 18.11 but the frame will fit on a 2'x4' table that I call roll outside the garage to use. Thicket stuff I want to cut is 1/4" MDF so I've been watching your videos to get an idea of what I need/want in a laser.

Have an Ikier K1 pro 48. Decent enough laser. Laser head is heavy enough that using at full capable speeds can accelerate maintenance timelines.

P2 (still in the box while we wait for our new house to be finished), Glowforge (good comparison?) and the F1

I watch laser reviews not for the reviewers opinions, but rather to see what the laser can do. If it can engrave and cut well and the speeds are good, and it meets my requirements, that's what I care about.
