You wake up. Sleepiness fades as your eyes slowly open to a bright white light. And it feels warm and familiar; it feels like home. And your whole family is there to meet you.
Your entire life flashes before your eyes, like scenes from a movie. The good. The bad. Even the awful things you've done. But everything comes together. It all finally makes sense.
With this enormous weight off your shoulders, the memory of your life starts to fade, just like a dream.
A familiar voice says: "We're happy you're here. We missed you. But - you can't stay." What? You just got here. You're getting kicked out already?
The voice says, "They need you. But we'll see you again when the time is right." And you know, somehow, the voice is telling the truth.
Suddenly, a burst of red-hot pain rips through your chest. It feels like every single cell in your body is on fire. You can't breathe.
A scream forces your eyes open. It's a blood-curdling scream, like an animal being eaten alive. Then you realize: the scream is coming from you.
You're in a hospital bed surrounded by doctors and nurses. They all take a step back. Stunned. They're staring at you. But why?
Well - you just came back from the dead.

You have my deepest condolences, my friend. Your pain, sadness, any/all emotions you feel are all a part of the healing process. And you WILL heal. You are alive, you will survive. My own mother passed away 1 month ago (November 27th). Diagnosed with the C of the stomach 2 years prior. Wont go in to the history/details/on & on. Still, even knowing the odds, we kept faith she'd beat it & heal. That evening her passing was still just so sudden; her heart gave out for various reason. But she went peacefully as we were both in prayer, holding one another's hands. She's finally at peace, free of the struggles & burdens of this world, & one day ALL of us will be together.
Anyway, I want you to know you are never alone, dear one. I see you, I feel your pain, & the grief of being in mourning. I am with you, & many others are as well. Including your mother, in spirit.
You are in my thoughts, prayers, & heart. It can be hard to be strong & keep faith. But in so doing, you will stand tall, & we stand with you in love. And so do those we lost, though not here physically, they are with us in spirit.
P.S there is a book called "How to Survive the Loss of a Love" that has helped so many, including myself (authors are 3: Melba Colgrove, Harold Bloomfield, & Peter McWilliams)

Right away after seeing the video, I called my mom. I remembered my dad told me a long time ago, you have to call your mom everyday. I lost my dad due to Covid in 2021 and I still miss him. I wish I could call him everyday.
Be kind to your parents. As much as we do, we can't pay them back.

11 years ago today my daughter passed away at 9pm, while I laid next to her and was with her as she took her last breath and her heart stopped. This helped me today, thank you.

I died for two minutes from ventricular tachycardia caused by a misdiagnosis. I heard what sounded like every church bell on earth ringing and everything went white with beautiful pastel lights. I knew I was dying and told my family two seconds before I coded. I found myself above my body and watched my ER nurse placing stickers on my chest and back and sliding a board under me. He shocked my body after doing one armed chest compressions. I crashed again. After a second shock, I sat up and apologized to the staff for being a pain in the ass. The doctor nearly fainted! Lol. I told the WE staff what I had seen them do to me, and they had no way to explain how I could’ve possibly seen the steps they took. I watched the nurse push my daughter and her father out of the room as they worked on me. I felt no pain and a sense of well being I could not explain. All I know is that there is MORE to us than these vessels we inhabit. I no longer fear death as I know it’s just a transition.
I had to post this as a reply to your comment because I also had a ventricular tachycardia at the age of 14, almost 12 years ago. I remember bits and pieces. Intense pain in my upper gut and chest, hyperventilating and folding into a fetal position, then being in a state of semi-coniousness on my parent's couch, and my vision going from blurry to white to black, then my dad making the decision to send me in the ambulance rather then drive me to the hospital, since the 911 responders were giving him the choice. In the ambulance, my heartbeat approached 200 beats per minute and one of the paramedics was coaching me on how to breathe to slow it down. I remember feeling very light most of time during the event, and a sensation like I wanted to go somewhere, but also didn't want to leave. My heart was scanned a few weeks later by a specialist, and there were no abnormalities found. To this day I keep coming back to testimonials and stories about NDE's. I don't know what's on the other side, but I know for a fact that it's there.
Our bodies do seem like vessels, vehicles for our essences, which are who we really are. I probably didn’t explain that very well, but when I feel ME, MYSELF, my actual, real, genuine self I don’t feel it with my body. I feel it inside my body. Who we are are not our flesh and bones, but something else, something deep and and kind of ethereal or something. I wish I could say it better.

When you lose the fear of eternal oblivion, it makes the struggles and pain of this life much easier to bear. No matter what happens now, there is so much more awaiting us! I have multiple myeloma 70% stage 3. Highest stage for this type a rare bone marrow cancer. I have had great treatments and lasted 2 yrs 7 months so far since i found out. I'll go thru a stem cell transplant this year to try to get more time, however it has many risks. I hope when i pass i have a lovely new life. Ty for giving hope to me and many others❤ i am in a remission at this time.

I believe you, i got attacked by a gang in Birmingham England when I was 21,i got stabbed 4 times, my lung collapsed, i remember being in hospital, and my dad was standing next to me, he said you'll be alright son, my dad died when I was 14.
This happened to my mother. She was only 40 and had a huge heart attack (an unknown congenital heart defect). She was pulled from her body towards light. As she got closer she saw her mother on one side,father on the other, with what she said looked like Jesus in the middle. Her mother beckoned her to come , her father spoke and said "it's not your time, youre not finished yet". She then realized she would be leaving me behind at 12 years old with my crazy father. She was then sucked back into her body. The Doctors said with all the damage done she'd be lucky to live 6 months. Thank God she lived 10 more years and died in her sleep peacefully when I was 23 and had just gotten a good job promotion. So I think she had finally "finished" her work, meaning raising me and was finally reunited with her parents and the Lord.

Same thing happened to my dad. He was in a horrific racing accident. He died twice, once in the way to the hospital and once in the hospital. He could see the paramedics working on his body at the track. It then flashed to the hospital and he was in the upper corner of the ER looking down at his body. He could describe the tile pattern on the floor and could see the frantic pace of the doctors and nurses. He felt a pull behind him and he turned to see a group of "beings" that seemed friendly but they were kind of pulling him in their direction. He kept telling them he wasn't ready. He felt love, he felt no fear of them, but he told me that he asked them if he could stay so he could be with me. I was 4 at the time and he didn't want to leave me. He ended up surviving and was in a coma for two weeks after.
That's a story my dad told me his entire life with vivid detail and recollection, even well into his very progressed dementia had kicked in. I think his experience gave him comfort more than anything. Ironically, I finally lost him 3 years ago yesterday. But I know I will see him again.

I lost my father on Christmas day 2023.
He had a heart attack in 1999 and died for 11 seconds. He described the exact same story your dad experienced while he died and the medics were working on him.
And yes you will see him again.
I still communicate with my father through a basic am/fm radio.
Try it out sometime, you'd be amazed about how they can still communicate with us through technology and radio frequencies.

My dad died 2020 when my daughter was a year and a half. I’ve always kept his memory alive we go to the cemetery often. Not to mention after he passed my 1 1/2 year old would tell me “grampa keeps calling my name”.

I died after I had surgery many years ago. I was in the recovery room and I remember a nurse telling me to breathe. I was breathing, then I heard the machine when you code out. I was floating above the bed, watching them. I never saw a tunnel, it was so fast. I cried when I was revived! Decades later it's still so vivid. There is definitely something better after this!

Just before she passed away, my mom opened her eyes and looked at my dad and said, "Joe, it's so beautiful."
My auntie took her own life after the death of her son to drug overdose. She told us she came to in a white room where she met her son. They spoke for a while and then he led her back to her body and told her she must go back. She survived the suicide attempt but what’s more impressive, the experience ended her grief completely.
That’s crazy! Do you think she began believing she would see her son in the afterlife? Can’t imagine being able to overcome a loved one’s death completely. Fascinating!

My father passed away close to a year ago and my mom when he passed couldn't operate on a normal level but then about 2 months after he passed she had a dream so vivid she believes it's real.. she was taken to a place that is peaceful and she saw my father... While they didn't talk he led her to a green pasture and then to a building where he was sitting at a table and started to write things, she didn't see what my father wrote but she heard a voice saying he's got work to do and immediately woke up... From then on she accepted his death and now is back to normal again although we do miss him and the part in the video where it says I miss you dad, I had to pause it and collect myself before continuing on...

Back in 2011 we made the hard decision to put our dog to sleep. He showed us he was in pain very clearly one night during a walk, so we decided to let the vet come instantly that night, it was a Sunday so they were closed but he grabbed his coat and came over anyway. When it was administered he sighed once and didn't breathe again. I still get goosebumps when I think about what happened later that night. While I slept on my chair I woke up and saw my dog laying in front of the lamp. I instantly shot up and hugged him and felt his warmth but it was a dream. It was a final goodbye from him, and it was real. Our loved ones, be it animals or people, have a soul.

The warmth- felt the same thing after my grandfather passed and i had a very vivid dream about meeting him. Unexplainably peaceful and warm hug it was. Knew it was him meeting me for one last time.

When I almost drowned when I was 8, apparently I was face down in the water for a while and all I can remember was a lovely soothing green light and surrounded by peace and warmth. My aunt saved me but to this day I remember vividly about the experience..I'm 62 now and have no fear of death.
I want to know what this is all about. Nobody who has a nde gets an real answer. Just vague stuff like love. Or to find your purpose. I feel like this is like some kind of prison when souls go to suffer. No wonder people are relieved when they cross over.
I also drowned as a youngster. I remember the light at the end of the tunnel and some vague green light.. which I never recounted till I read this. It's just as fleeting as the light at the end of the tunnel but when I think back on it the green was there at some point in that very short amount of time. Then I felt at peace and in an instant I felt like everyone I knew like grandparents were there but I couldn't see them I just felt like they were there. The warmth, peace was hard to leave. For some reason I told myself try one more time. Then my dad pulled me out. Idk how I didn't aspirate water either. Have no idea where I went etc but unfortunately the closest I've ever felt to that was the first time I did opiates.. and that still doesn't come close to the peace. It's like an absolute peace it's really weird
I investigated a car crash in the 80’s where an unconscious 16 yr old was taken to the hospital by ambulance in bad condition. When he was conscious, he clearly detailed the entire scene and first responders, along with their actions…from a point of advantage above the crash scene. He was 100% correct. Spookiest thing ever.
My sister's heart stopped during a life flight when she was seven. No one told her she had coded on the flight. They didn't want to scare her. But she already knew. She knew she had died and claimed to have seen a bright light and a woman with short dark hair. Months later, once she was out of the hospital, we took a trip to visit our grandparents a few states away, and she pointed out a picture of a woman on the wall, claiming that was the woman she had seen when she died.
It was a photo of our great grandmother who had died before my sister was born. Interestingly, everyone always said that my sister greatly resembled that great grandmother because they both had such dark hair.

Emotion over came me at one point in this video. 10 years ago I flatlined for a brief moment. I arrived in a area with so many people there. It was like being in a football stadium. The loudness was not like here on earth where it hurts. When I got there I found my family. Every family member had the appearance of when they were most happy on earth. My grandfather died at 78. He was in his 20s. My grandmother passed away before I had full awareness as a child. Her face was distorted, but I could still tell it was her. Believing in what us people have experienced is hard. I am telling you from the bottom of my heart it's real. One day all you non believers will see this for yourselves..
Yes. I have never had an NDE but I have had several spiritual experiences, and have had sleep paralysis my whole life, so I astral project all the time. So I know for sure that consciousness can leave the body and go wherever it wants to. Surviving physical death flows as a natural conclusion from that for me.
Quite condescending for people that shoud love everyone. We just don't wanna blindly believe stuff that makes no logical sense. People will be shocked to see it's not their god they see but cosmic consciousness. It makes sense that your brain shows you a biased view so indoctrination will show itself. No religion has the answer to everything they're all bits and pieces that only make sense if you put everything together and rethink. So your "all you non-believers" shows that you learned nothing.
My husband last year had the widow maker heart attack at age 48. The next day, he went to the cath lab and re eived 2 stints in the main artery on the left side of his heart. He told me that he died during this surgery and was met by his mother and a few other family members. His mother told him that he had to go back and make it right, that it wasn't his time yet. He told her that he loved her and missed her and that he was sorry he didn't get to tell her bye before she died. She passed as a result of a traffic a cident in July 2020 during the height of covid. He was in another state and couldn't get to her, and she was gone within a couple of hours. She hugged him and then pushed him back to earth. When we were married recently, she sent him a sign of her approval in the song "You Are My Sunshine" on a sign at the place where we married. She always asked when he was gonna marry me while she was alive. My point is this. There is life after death.

My dad died 3 years ago tomorrow (feels crazy to even say that, it seems like yesterday). He was hands down the greatest human being I've ever known. When he was battling cancer, I sent him a pic of a rainbow over our house, he was disappointed that my kids weren't standing under it in the picture. Since he passed, we see rainbows constantly. We've seen an absolutely insane amount of them in the last few years. My daughters think that grandpa took a job in the rainbow factory so that he can see them standing under them all the time. Could it just be a total coincidence? Of course. But its given my kids so much peace to think he's still out there somewhere, and honestly, myself as well.
I feel that.
I don't believe in coincidences. I am also not saying why the rainbows are appearing either.

My grandad was a Native American, so we had the singers at his funeral. When they started the death/funeral song an eagle appeared over the horizon, flew over and started circling above us the entire duration of the song. Then, when the song was over it turned and flew out of sight towards the mountains. My grandad had a pet eagle when he was young, and he absolutely _loved_ the mountains. So I take the fact that it was an eagle, and the direction it flew off towards, to be significant. It's one of the reasons why I feel like he never actually died, just hopped on to the next stage. That has happened a few times to my family. An animal associated with a recently passed loved one shows up to basically stare us in the eye and nod. This is definitely not all there is.

I had a near death experience when I had stage 3 sepsis. I didn’t know how sick I was. I woke up in the ICU. I was actually a little angry I woke up. Now I have considered myself lucky. I got sepsis again, and survived again. I guess I’m supposed to be here to share the message of love and kindness. ❤

I love seeing the evolution of AJ’s beliefs, as well as the respect he shows for people on both sides. We need more like him.
I will say that he got 2 major facts wrong about Don Piper's story. Though one less than the other. 1. It was 90minutes in heaven....not 30 minutes. He was dead that long. Declared at the scene. 2. His thigh bone wasn't on the road somewhere, but ejected into the lake below the bridge. Hence why he was having the extremely new and experimental leg growth apparatus. And why he was, "depressed for a year afterwards". He was unable to do literally anything on his own.
Seriously the book is amazing and he was able to save lives and help them through tough times.

My Mom was hit by lightning when she was in high school. She was baling hay with my grandpa, and was left unresponsive in the field. Grandpa pulled her tongue out of her throat with a pair of pliers. She was rushed to the nearest hospital where lifesaving procedures started. She was eventually revived, with burns on her hands from holding a pitchfork, and on her feet from the majorette boots she was wearing. She says while these procedures were happening, her viewpoint was like she was sitting on a shelf in the upper corner of the room watching everything happen to her. She knew who was there, what they said and what they wore. She watched them cut off her boots, intubate her and give her medication. She watched them shock her with the defibrillator. When she was finally revived she was most upset at the doctor who cut off her boots, as she grew up with very little and prized her boots. This experience would be hard for me to believe if it wasn't my mom (and grandma corroborating her story) telling it to me. There are things out there still yet to be explained. BTW my Mom is still alive, now 79 years old.

My mom had some odd experiences in her youth. Never something like that and I'm so happy she survived, but I think it adds to mounting evidence that we aren't quite sure what's going on.

The robe people in the video just made me shiver. When i was about ten me and some friends purposely hyperventilated to see what it was all about. When it was my turn, I hit the floor. There were people in robes sitting behind a huge podium, they each had brass name plates, one looked down at me and asked why is this kid here? I was too leave immediately this was a first of many mistakes one said. I had to go back, i wasnt supposed to be there. I woke up on the floor with my frinds standing around me and my adult brother leaning over me. Apparently I had hit my head when i fell to the floor and had a siezure shaking much so that my friends had to get adult help.
A friend of mine was born with a "bad" heart and had 3 heart surgeries growing up, then she had her fourth surgery and afterwards I helped her at home while she recovered. She shared with me that during the surgery she left her body. She could see the doctors operating on her. She then went out into the hallway of the hospital, and she saw dark figures coming towards her and proceeded to run from them as they chased her down the hall. That's all I remember of the story which shocked me at the time. But I'll never forget how she changed as a person from then on. Previously she seemed hard and a fighter, but after she was always kind, loving and generous to everyone. Sadly, her heart gave out and we lost her about three years ago, but I'm hopeful and believe her death experience was good this time.
You said it.. she was born with a ‘bad heart’..not just faulty but with ‘issues’ that came with her in this life - you could call it karma. We all are here given opportunities to be better at the soul level. Some can be healed completely and others will heal a part of it with some of the issue left behind as a reminder to keep on the narrow path and maybe she agreed to those terms.

This episode is brilliant! My paternal grandfather had a lot of heart problems from the age of 40. When I was about 8 or 9, 1988/89ish, my grandad was at our house and he had a heart attack. He was clinically dead for a few minutes. When he came out of hospital he gave us a full commentary of what we were doing and where we were up to the ambulance arriving for him. Back then we didn’t have a home phone so my aunty ran a street to the nearest phone box to call the ambulance. He actually recalled who went and what was said on the phone. If I didn’t hear that myself I wouldn’t have believed him and I asked him about that again in my late teens which he stood by. He died Christmas night 2005 after battling cancer and roughly 1 week after he passed my nephew, 3 yr old at the time, saw him. He was sat on my dad’s knee in our living room and started waving at something in the kitchen . Brad laughed and said ‘there’s Grandad Tom waving at me!’ Very surreal but gives me hope of positivity of the afterlife
When I died in 2019. I saw completely my dark surroundings but I was aware I had no body. I was only gone 16 seconds but because of my mom's passing I was not afraid. I knew I had not passed beyond the VEIL, but I was curious and not once did I think about what I had left behind. When we die I know that what we are leaving will continue on without us, but trust me when I say there is no doubt that we are returning home. Thank You AJ. I am sorry for your loss.
I'm a scientist and a physician working at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Despite studying hard sciences and focusing on the tangible, it is perfectly clear to me that we are eternal, spiritual beings. The trick is that we go under the veil of forgetting after incarnation, so that certain work can be done.
In my experience, during the transfer the soul must let go of its past life and its quite the process.
Starts with a three step and the dives into more intricate processes.
Seems we have to settle this life to possibly prepare for the next? (I did end up surviving so, I don’t know the rest).

I believe that 100%. Several days after my mom passed away I was walking home from the store. It started snowing and the wind picked up. I wasn't prepared for it and didn't dress warm enough. I started shivering and getting extremely cold and uncomfortable. Suddenly I felt enveloped in warmth like an invisible heated blanket wrapped itself around me and I stopped shivering. I did not see anyone, but somehow I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt it was my mother protecting me and letting me know she's okay. She didn't speak to me with words, but she somehow told me it was her. I've never felt so content and happy despite being out in the cold and wind. ❤🙏

when i died, i went back to my star, literally through the atmosphere past the moon and right to my star (i had always believed i came from a star since childhood) it was beautiful and warm and comforting and i was so upset when the CPR being performed on me woke me up. my first words were "why did you do that?" i have no fear now of dying, i know it leads to a beautiful place' its not an end.

As someone who had a NDE back in 1980, from a similar motorbike accident to your dad's, I was thrilled to read Dr. Moody's first book. What I find even more compelling than the similarities between peoples NDE experiences across sexes, ages and cultures are the stories of children who have died and returned. The things they describe, the people they meet, including relatives that were long dead, or aborted siblings can not be explained by religious upbringings or from old memories. Take that science!

Amen! And praise God for you. One of my fav examples is the Cokeville incident. Lots of kids saw relatives they'd never met, and several saw the angels that controlled the explosion. None of the "earthly" investigations could make heads or tails of how things could possibly have happened they way they did.

I watched my lovely grandmother pass away. She said “they’re here” and mentioned older relatives names, that had passed away before I was born, that I didn’t know.
My grandma raised her hand as if she was taking their hands. She was happy & very much at peace. It wasn’t a sad moment & I thought I’d be in shambles. I wasn’t. She was ready. She had liver & stomach cancer. Death is taught to be feared but it shouldn’t be.

I watched mine pass in 2022 was super tough she had a big hand in raising me. she dreamed of what she referred to as dead people for days before she passed her mother, her brother, Dad etc. One strange thing that happened was the night before she passed my aunt was sitting outside with the backdoor was open. So she could see through the screen door she watch a women come into the kitchen and open the fridge. At first she thought it was my mom her sister but then she noticed she had short hair like grandma and looked like grandma in her 30s or 40s. The next day my grandma looked like she was no longer in her body up until that point she looked like she was just sleeping peacefully. But that day her mouth was wide open and she was gone that night around 9 pm she stopped breathing. I hope and want to believe my aunt seen her soul leave her body the night before. I am not very religious and am on the fence at times about life after death although I want to believe something is after this. But I asked for signs that she was alright or at peace about a month after she died I seen a bright orange orb in my bedroom. Being the logical person I am I tried to explain it away but I cant it was not light from outside it was coming from inside the room and in the basement.
Long long story short but here we go… the day my brother died, (he was 15, cancer)I felt it coming. From the moment I woke up I felt uneasy. That day I wasn’t with him, I had headed out. Despite being 100km apart I felt the exact moment he passed. I felt him leave this earth. I will never forgot that feeling. It’s like nothing else I’ve ever felt.

When he brought up the frequency for consciousness, I was thinking it might be possible to hack our brains back into consciousness, out of a coma, with that frequency or another one? Kinda like a reboot or ctrl, alt, delete restart. They should definitely do more research into death and comas. Something tells me that they're not interested in this anymore.

My grandfather died for 5 minutes during surgery and told me a similar thing happened, he saw his mother and she said it wasn’t his time yet and he came back to life. My grandfather was the most honest man you can imagine, he was a Marine in WWII and taught me that nothing is worse than liars and thieves. I 100% believe what he said happened.

My grandfather died when I was 14. He woke up minutes later and told us of a light a tunnel, everyone he ever knew that had passed on, family and friends. He came back and told us all of those things. He lasted two weeks, then suddenly ill and did pass away quickly

My dad had sepsis and "died" on the table. He traveled out the room and overheard a nurse next door talking about him and how ill he was with sepsis, and that he was going to die.
He returned to his body and recovered. He told the doctors and nurses after what the nurse next door was saying about him while he was dead on the table and they were all stunned.
I learned that I lost an old friend to complications from years of heroin use. He was a good person, he just hurt himself and went through so much trauma in his 37 years. I truly hope he is in a peaceful place.

15 seconds after my dad took his last breath, he lifted his head and got the biggest smile on his face, a look of wonder… then he lowered his head and passed. He was comatose for a week before his passing, so it was especially amazing. I know he saw all the people who he had loved and lost “picking him up”… I did not know before but now I do… there is life after death.
My mother died during the first 6months of the pandemic. She was a beautiful, gifted human who helped so many people throughout her life. What bothers me the most is that she died alone in a hospital. This gives me some peace that she wasn’t totally alone and that death for her wasn’t as awful as my mind allows me at times to think about.

I truly hope this is the case especially considering how many ppl had to die in isolation during the pandemic. My grandmother was one as well who died from covid all alone in hospital as well. I've cried several times just knowing she didnt have any of her loved ones around to comfort her. I truly hope my papa was right there with her as he had already passed. In my short 30 years of life, my very large family has dwindled down to to just 3. My mother, and only brother died 2 years ago 3 months apart from each other. The man who talked about in his NDE, he mentioned that he was a disappointment to his mother, I immediately, exploded into tears. I too, was a disappointment to my own mother in life. And, that part specifically hurt me a lot. Something to know going into the future for as long as I should also continue to live that is.
Let that go. They know everything now, and see you for the magnificent person, you are. She wants you to love yourself as much as you possibly can, and to forgive HER for making you work so hard to get to where you are, now. She said it's "never too late", whatever that means. ❤

I lost Dad in aug 2008, , he passed away 2 months prior to my wedding, he never met my kids, i lost Mum in sept 2021, my wife and i seperated in 2019, i do think it was for the better, Mum always said to me that after we split, she saw the old me returning. Since her passing i havent moved on in a good way, i feel depressed n lazy these days, it breaks my heart thinking that she and Dad are watching over me, and being saddened, i fear that i am hell bound, i do repent and i believe in God my saviour, i just pray i am in the book of life, because i have strayed off the path

I believe this. I was in the ER years ago, I died. I saw my body there in the bed. The person I saw when it happened was my uncle, that has passed away a couple of years before.
I was in an accident just like your father. My arm was torn off, I was lifeflighted to the hospital. Heart stopped in the helicopter, but I didn't have a NDE. I don't remember ANYthing between 3 seconds before the wreck and the following day when I woke up in the bed. I'm curious what the difference is between the people that experience NDEs and those who don't. Keep up the great work!

after my experience in comatown following a major experimental surgery ( my third surgery in the space of three weeks) then putting one step on the rainbow bridge while in the ICU but not actually going completely flatline I have memories that are similar to those who have NDE's and others that seem to be singular to my own .
If you don't remember anything between 3 seconds before the wreck and the following day, then how do you know that you didn't have an NDE? I mean if you don't remember, then you don't remember. Right?
You are correct, I don’t know for certain that it didn’t happen. If a tree falls in the woods, etc. I do know that I have no memory of it, and therefore I don’t consider it an experience, if it happened at all.

I'm really very grateful for this episode. I've probably watched it 10 times. I experienced something like this, and no one took me serious. The doctors. The nurses. My friends. Anyone. I've kept it to myself because people would just laugh at me. However, while I was "dead" and gone, hooked up to a ventilator. I had an experience that I can't explain other than what I knew to be true at the time. I was outside my body. I saw myself on the ventilator. I touched the halo attached to my head, and as I did, I was transported to space, above the earth. Looking down upon the world I once knew. I could see the sphere of the earth, the stars in the background. I didn't feel like I was alone. I felt calm and peaceful. Next thing I knew, I was back in the ICU, being woken up from a coma. I don't know what it meant. I don't know what happened. Anyone I tried to explain that to, make fun of me, and I've never told a soul again. Until now. Thanks AJ. This episode really hit home, and I appropriate you. Maybe someday, I'll be able to tell a story like you do. Happy New Years.

I believe you. Though I will say if you say things like "the world I once knew". It starts to sound like you're embellishing for dramatic effect. Which may lead some to take it a little less seriously. Like you're trying to spin a tale. Its a minor thing. But worth noting I think.

Divine Intervention blessed me with a migraine that made me quit cold turkey from drinking a 1/2 gallon a day. Which in turn sent me into 7 days of extreme delirium tremens withdrawals and eventually another 7 days on the 3rd floor ICU! After ripping out my IVs and catheter from the manic state I was in, I somehow escaped through the security doors buck-naked where I was met by my family near the elevators where they finally helped settle me down. Unfortunately, what I thought was a Thursday night, turned out to be in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday lol Crazy stuff, but on a good note, I just celebrated 4 years sober a few months ago and just turned 33!! Anything's possible! Always remember, we're all being watched over!🥰

It's very common for people in hospice just before they die to see and talk to loved ones that have passed. I sat next to 85-year-old grandma, who lied in hospice and didn't speak for a few days. Suddenly her eyes opened, she sat up and spoke to her mother, my long dead great grandmother, as if she were standing at the foot of her bed. She called her "mama" and said she was scared. She sounded like a little girl herself. Shortly after, she passed away. It freaked us out. The nurses said it happens all the time. 🤷♀️
That's what happens when you go "at home" instead of while out and about.
She genuinely got to see her mama again.
Same thing my grandmother did just before she passed.

I had an NDE after heart surgery. I bled out internally and it was was at least 20 minutes before blood was circulating again. They had to fill me up and restart my heart. I had an experience that started with me hearing a nurse yelling at me not to die and ended with a presence telling me "you need to go back. "

I love (and hate) how you always make me dream, then make me come back down on earth with rational thinking. I appreciate this format a lot. I had an NDE, and I had the same approach about my personal experience.
I grew up in a family where my father was an atheist and my mother dabbled in the occult. In 1998 I was having kidney issues and had to be hospitalized for a week. On the first day I was there, I felt like I was slipping away. It was like I detached from my body and I could see and hear Drs and nurses running around. Suddenly, it's like I was being sucked through the ceiling but there was no resistance and then I was in the most beautiful place, It was sort of endless green grass and trees. It was an incredible peace like I have never felt before or after. My NDE is a bit different as I didn't actually see or talk to anyone else there. Still, it was wonderful, no pain or hunger or worry. Then just as suddenly, I was being brought back. I saw a nurse and she said they thought they lost me, but I was so angry because I wanted to go back to that place. All these years I've wondered what was that, and over time I have become convinced God is real and I just became a Christian about a year ago. I don't usually tell people what happened but it all seemed very real.

My brother died suddenly 3 weeks ago. We'd become very close in the last 20 years after a turbulent youthful relationship and a lifetime of being apart, doing our own things. NDE videos are keeping me afloat right now. They have to be true. This video came at the perfect time for me. Thank you.

I suffered a stroke in 2005 and had an out-of-body experience. As the ambulance was taking me to the hospital, I looked down at my body and I felt the most pain free, love and the most peace in my soul that I cannot describe, even though my physical body looked pretty messed up below. I didn't want to go back into my body down below , but I felt 2 hands on my shoulders and a voice saying "It's not your time yet". ---and WHAM! I went back into my body filled with pain. While I was out of body , I was so blown away by how good my soul felt that I didn't even bother looking around to see if I even had a body. Now, I am not afraid to die if it's going to feel like that.
I had a similar experience due to a trial fibrillation. Hours of pain, followed by bliss. Comfort, warmth, a sense of welcome that made me want to stay and go farther. I thought of my young son's and how much I would miss them and said, "I am not done yet." The pain was incredible and instantaneous again. Spent 4 days in hospital and years to recover and learn to live with the condition. Like you, I don't fear death, have a huge appreciation for life. I would have thought I was reading my own experience from your comment!

i've not ever experienced NDEs or OBEs, but deep inside i know they're true. and scientifically it MUST be true, because of thermodynamics... energy cannot be created or destroyed, so out consciousness must go somewhere when this body dies. and therefore reincarnation must be true as well, because the spark of life must come from somewhere (and that's not to mention people remembering previous lives). we come to this life to experience living for all it's worth, and once you understand that and who/what we are on the other side your life will never be the same. it's impossible to be truly suicidal when you get it.

Last year I believe I had an out of body experience. At the time I was in bed asleep. I found myself floating in the universe.
I could see our beautiful planet earth to my right below me like a beautiful ball. I could also see other constellations in vivid beautiful colours moving in the universe. The experience felt so very real and vivid.
I also sensed that someone was with me to my right but I could not see the person, but it was a comforting presence looking after me. It was so beautiful and perfectly harmonious, it seemed to go on for a while. Then I said to whoever was with me “how am I going to get back” while looking at our earthly home, then the whole experience stopped. When I awoke I ‘knew’ that I wasn’t dreaming. I’m pretty sure that I had a spontaneous out of body experience.
I had an out of body experience and it was very different than most reported ones… everything was sepia tone … I died in a parking lot… it was an accident … but I remember looking at my dead body in my car .. there was no white light … I describe it as waiting on a train … but it never came … it was amazing and peaceful and I was not afraid. it seemed I had all the answers of the universe. I saw my ex wife find me and she found my body and screamed … my soul returned to my body and it was the most intense pain I have ever felt. I wasn’t back yet. Paramedics came and worked on me. I remember having a full on conversation with them but they couldn’t hear me.. they said male 45 no vitals and continued to work … finally I came back. I have no fear of death. I am certain there is something more. I use my experience to help people who are near death not be afraid. It’s an amazing journey we all will take eventually… I love this channel.
Was the sepia like a 2 dimensionale space where you felt like you where gliding over some sort of surface? I woke up in ICU a couple of weeks ago after having that experience... Actually told nobody because it was so wierd.
@@Setsunoneit was Weird for me… it was Sepia tone .. but I was looking at my dead self and aware . There was no pain … just happy and free .. I moved effortlessly and Was not aware of how I was getting there it was just a POV change as I wanted to see something.. I describe it as waiting for someone from the other side to come get me .. but no one did. I was revived 15 minutes or so later back in my body. It was an amazing experience. I have no fear because I know there is something after

I had that one, felt like all existence became clear, and everything suddenly made sense. It faded away like a dream later, so I have very hazy memory of it.
My great grandma has 2 NDEs and one she was on a train with people of every ethnicity all heading toward a tunnel of light and another she was wading the river Jordan while people were singing. She had a massive heart attack and remained bed-bound for 7 months. Her second NDE happened while bed-bound and when she came back she was completely healed and immediately started cleaning her children’s clothes bc she told God she wanted them to have a mother and she had work to do. She lived into her mid 90s
I think she was just very tired on the London underground by the sounds of it.

Moments before my mother passed away I was so frightened, I wanted to run out of the hospice room but I didn't want her to fly away alone.. so I rubbed her hand kissed her forehead, let her know that she is going to a beautiful place.. and that was the first time and only time I ever seen anybody take their last breath.. and it was an experience that I am now grateful that I was there for.. before that I was afraid of death but after I wasn't.. I haven't watched this video yet but I'm getting ready to..
I miss you dad. I'm with you AJ. I saw that note, and brought tears to my eyes. We may not have had the picture perfect family growing up, but the day my dad died, we were all in the room with him, he was there to die, it was over for him, but.. man.. I miss that guy so much. It's very hard, my wife just lost her father a year and a half ago. It's tough man I don't have the words to tell her that it NEVER gets any better. It NEVER gets any easier. It NEVER goes away. It's just the same hurt today as it was back in 2015 for me when my dad passed on. It DOESN'T go away. It never goes away. I don't ever EVER go a SINGLE DAY without thinking about my father. NEVER. She has a very hard time dealing with her own loss, and it scares me because I know reality will never set in for her. But man.. I miss my dad too AJ. I am truly sorry for your loss. Prayers

I'm sorry your'e hurting so bad but it does get easier.. I think it's just different time frames for different people. I hope you make peace with it somehow. I lost my mother to Covid 2 years ago in June and though it hit me likie a freight train I can now talk to her whenever I'm struggling without breaking down. It's still very hard at times but it has gotten easier... for me at least. God Bless

I suppose the words i wrote may have come out a bit more harsh than intended, when i saw the note at the bottom of the screen i was overwhelmed with sadness for my own personal loss. I suppose in the big picture the pain of the loss has softened, and it was not a shock I'm the first place, that's not the emotion but more that the loss of my father evident in my everyday life, as in all the things i do now i see him coming through my ways. I don't know, it still isn't any better than it was that day. The only thing i have as a Christian is the belief that one day it will all be ok. More than that, but still, it's not easy. I truly am sorry for your loss, and that honestly goes to anyone who reads this, but directly to you as well. Thank you again for your kind words.

My dad was soooo pissed when they brought him back. He told me that he never in all of his life felt so much love and acceptance or a sense of belonging. He never saw a tunnel or bright light. He told me that there was something he had to do or something that must happen. I guess he did what he was supposed to do. I month before he died, he warned me he was going to die soon. He said that all hell would break loose and that our family would fall apart because he was the glue holding it together and it did! I’m not sure but I believe my cancer has gone stage 4… I’m not going through anymore chemo or radiation it wrecked my body, I entrust myself to God!

My Brother died 2 weeks ago. A heartstroke with just 48 years. My wife an I was with him in his last moments and tried to aid. My wife said in his last moments, while I called emergency help, he was peacefully smiling and then past away. I have to believe that he has had no pain. (hope to see you again bro... love you)
The scientific explanation doesn’t address how some OBEs accurately describe events that the experiencer otherwise would have no way of knowing. NO WAY AROUND THAT.
I died on an operating table 3 times. I experienced a black hole the way movies explain it. I was sucked into a void and spat out and during the whole experience I met people from my past I didn't remember. They greeted me as strangers. Afterwards my mom showed me family history and I finally met the people formally.
This gives me goosebumps beyond belief. I was skateboarding one night down a dark paved trail through the woods. I Frequented the trail during the day so I knew the path really well and it was dark and scary so I was absolutely cooking down the hill. 20+mph. I hit a wet patch and lost control. I flew off the trail, tumbled and face planted into a large cement pole that held a sign. I stood up and didnt feel a thing. About 5 seconds later all the pain hit me at once and I immediately blacked out but still felt concious. I was now in a very dark place with a light at the end of the tunnel. All pain ceased to exist. I felt the most amazing peaceful feeling Ive ever experienced. I kept following the light and the feeling of peace kept getting more extreme. Then a voice basically shoved me backwards and said "you cannot go here, you have to go back." I immediately woke up, 30 feet away from the pole I hit. Faced down in the dirt and immediately felt all the pain. I genuinely cant explain what I experienced any better than that but I believe I almost died.

My cousin recently passed due to cancer. As he was approaching the end, he reached out and smiled. My aunt asked him why he was smiling and he said that one grand parents and my late sister were there for him. Moments later, he was gone.
Thank you for this video. It actually reminded me of a case where a mothers daughter died and she suspected it was the husband so she tried to contact her daughter from the dead which took weeks. She finally did and she asked how did she die and the daughter supposedly choked her as a response causing her to go the police to dig up her body and to let the corner examine her body. When they dug up her body they found strangle markings on her neck which was hidden by a scarf the husband put on her. After they had a trail and found the husband guilty they put on her grave "the first ghost to give a legal testimony." I believe its called the greenbrier ghost where the mothers name is Mary Jane Heaster. So thank you for the memory of that mistourious case.😊
When my sister was dying she was comforting my other sister about death. The dying sister kept looking up and saying, "Just a minute and I'll come along". Once my other sister was comforted the dying sister passed.
I love the ones where people who were born blind come back and describe how things looked.
Its this kind of NDE that tells me the "dying brain" theory is not the right explanation.

My father told me that when his father died, the family was gathered at a house after the funeral. One of his brothers was going off about that there was no afterlife, that when you died you were just gone. Later that night, after everyone had gone to bed, they heard a scream. They ran to the front door and found that brother on the ground in a total panic. When they asked him what was going on he said, "I heard a knock on the door, so I got up to see who was there - when I opened the door, Father was standing there." A doubting Thomas moment.
this is crazy I’m glad I could share this but I had a NDE when I was younger I was about maybe 8-9 years old my family was visiting or traveling and we were in tennessee but I was at a hotel pool with my siblings and as much as I’ve seen swimming and going in a pool I never have actually swam in pool up until then so my first instinct was to jump in a pool but I didn’t unfortunately know how to swim so I sunk to the bottom and I was actually drowning and I struggled to go back to the surface of water but to no avail I sunk further and further and as I knew it I saw what i thought was the water reflecting this bright light and then I saw everything that happened in my life up until this point and I genuinely thought that there was nothing else that could’ve happen besides me sinking until I was saved by my dad but that’s was my near death experience!! sorry if it is super grim to anyone else!
While in the hospital after having a heart attack I saw a friend who had passed sitting in a chair by my bed. My first thought was that if he were there my old dog must be there too, I sat up and started patting my bed looking for Tyke and when I looked up Jim was gone.

My father died Nov. 30th this year. Hearing about your Father bring a tear to my eye for you and your loss as well.
I've only seen a few of your videos but I really enjoy what I've seen so far. I've subscribed and plan to continue watching. The main reason I keep returning and then subscribed is because of your presentation. There is no misinformation , no speculation , just facts. And you always present both views with the facts that support them . I wish everyone would communicate in this fashion , Earth would be a much less confusing and much happier place.
I am one of those who went "somewhere else". It wasn't hell though. But there was also no tunnel of light, or pearly gates. No group of family or loved ones to greet me. There were angels, though. And then I went somewhere else... It was my favorite place at that time in my life. And there was an eternal sunset. I was speaking to... A person I haven't met yet. He is the one who sent me back; who said that no matter how much I wanted to stay there with him, I had to go back. And then I was thrust back into my body, as I awoke to a friend slapping and shaking me and pouring water on my face.
FINALLY got around to watching this weeks episode. Loved it! My dad had a NDE in 1979. He was in a horrible car crash while on the job (he was a cop). He was pronounced dead and only "came back" because his sergeant was there and told the doctors not to stop. He always told me about his experience. He talked about the white light and being surrounded by people he knew. He said someone/something told him that it wasn't his time and he was going to have a son. He said it was so peaceful and he didn't want to leave but came back to his body. When he passed away in 2009, it was one thing he finally came to peace with. He said he wasn't scared of dying because he knew there was something else.

I had a NDE 10 years ago. It was a weird experience but i am no longer afraid of dying. I now know there is more than just this life, it also showed me that consciousness, experiences and memories are not limited to the body.. because even when dead, you have the memories of life with you. The body is just a vessel/tool with sensors to perceive this world for your consciousness. eyes/ears/nose/nerves are all sensors that receive information that is sent to the brain and there it is processed for your consciousness.

@@AuntLALA Before the NDE i didn't really believe in all that "afterlife" stuff. I do now. I'm still not sure what exactly comes after because i was in what i call the "waiting room".. Pitch black and couldn't see anything at all until a light appeared and started to come closer, i was not afraid, just a bit perplexed because i knew what was happening.. i knew i was meant to be there. The light stopped and it told me that it was not my time yet, after that message i immediately get sucked back into my body and i feel and hear the hospital staff working on me. It made me think afterwards.. if it was not my time yet, it would imply that there is a reason for me to be here. Something i have to do or be part of before i can cross over. After the experience i was left with questions and i asked other experiencers about what i saw and what it meant.. According to them it was a place between realms, the "light being" was a guide that comes to take you along to the realm that comes after, or send you back when you are not ready yet( like a bouncer at the bar checking for your ID). Much like the waiting room at the doctors office where you wait for your name to be called so you can see him that's why i call it the waiting room.. Only there is no room :) Anyway that is what i was told and that is what lines up with what i felt and saw. But the most important explanation i got was when i found a youtube video from an interview with a Dutch Dr. that researched this very thing. The video is called "Consciousness beyond death, with Dr. Pim van Lommel". If you are interested in this and have questions about NDE, this guy blew my mind because everything makes sense now. @@nicksshitbro My guess is that the soul/consciousness connects to a designated body that will be used to live a physical life where it can gain experiences during that life. When the body expires the consciousness takes the experiences learned with him to the next realm. The point is to live, nothing more, nothing less. To see what you make of life, do you live your life worrying about what others think of you? do you live your life with anger, hate, love or compassion. How do things around you influence the way you live? Its all about the journey, not the destiny. What have you learned in the life you had, have you changed your mind about things you used to think differently about? why did you change your mind about these things. are your actions in life justified? and why do you think it is or isn't justified.. These are all questions you might want to think about.. It's not so much that there is something you "have to do" as a purpose of being alive.. it really is all about the journey of life itself. Why did you live life the way you lived it. What did you learn from it. That is what you take with you to the next realm.
My husband looked and acted like you when he was younger. I love you! His dad and grandpa died of colon cancer. I fed my husband very healthy, but he always ate too much bbq steak. He died of colon cancer in 2019 at age 56. I tell you cuz I want you to live long. ❤❤❤
I was involved in a really bad accident when i was 17 years old. I remember there was a really steep hill near my high school, at the end of the hill there was an intersection that didn't have any stop signs on either side of the intersection. The cars would drive by pretty fast thru the intersection. I know this well since I would take that route walking home every day. I remember i was going through a really hard time in my life to the point i didnt want to live anymore. That day, i decided to ride a small abandoned bike i had found near my high school. I started having suicidal thoughts as i made my way fast down the hill on the small bike. The last thing i remember is seeing the front grill of an incoming truck speeding through the intersection before making contact with my body. I remember I saw my life flash before my eyes, almost like a dream. I remember seeing myself from above my body, from like a third person view. I then saw my body laid out on the street with the destroyed bicycle next to me and the whole front grill of the truck dented in. Suddently everything turned dark like a void and the darkness turned into a tunnel with a light shining brightly at the end. I remember the feeling of floating in the darkness as i was moving towards the light, when suddenly I started hearing people's voices. Their voices kept getting louder and louder when i suddenly felt a severe rush of pain all over my body. I remember opening my eyes and waking up, back inside my body. I was then rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. I managed to survive and tell the story. I suffered from internal head bleeding, couple of broken bones and some open wounds on my right arm, leg and side of the face/head. Before the accident, i used to blame myself for everything and i used to believe my life had no meaning. After the accident I became a strong believer that we're all in this world for a reason and each one us has a meaning for being alive.
