@@icekirbyixi Bro what!? The only somewhat excusable team comp that has 2 lights is 3 lights in my eyes. L/L/M is very bad and L/L/H is an absolute nono. I don't usually play light a lot, but if I get two lights in my team I feel forced to play light as well. Nothing worse than having one heavy or medium who spends all game trying to catch up to his 2 light team mates. If there are two lights it's time to go full retar* and be the 3rd one.

I had teammates bragging about how much they bench press, and bashing me for not bench pressing đ I almost laughed out loud. Then they were confused why I played heavy because I didn't bench.. like wtf lol. I carried the game tho and won the semi final round with charge n slam.

probably a mixture of typical workplace bureaucracy and them wanting to make sure its well thought out. i mean if they want to do it right, they have to develop ways to capture, store and process all the text chat for toxicity. they have to train support staff on dealing with text chat issues. etc. its not as simple as an indie dev installing text chat from the plugin store

They should add an event for the game where you can earn outfits themed off the ranks. (Diamond Business Suit, Plat, Gold, etc.) I a similar thing happen in another game but the outfits were for mastery skins and I think this would be great.

I think Wall running would be cool if they made it take up a tool slot. I think wallrunning is on par with the light playstyle and could make light more viable.
If they did, it should be exclusive to lights and the pacing should be equal to heavy's running speed.

As long as you can turn it off like you can with voice and it tells evry1 you dont gaf what they have to say. The Finals has a good ping system, I play with loud music and love it, I dont really want to hear from noobs who stop playing to sook, I think they should just add more than 'thanks' and 'hype' to the wheel. If ur on controller it ruins a game to have to send a message/reply to text.. I prefer STFU and play, go hard or go home ppl!
I can imagine the implementation of text chat is going to be terrible. I guarantee you will be able to opt in/out like the current voice chats, and i think it will be team only chat which isnt great there should be a team chat and global chat.
There definitely should not be a global chat in an arena shooter like the finals.

So my team can yell at me to switch to a gun instead of hammer, only for me to get 0 kills with the gun becuase im a hammer main?
we can be hyped an excited all we want, but the game had eyes on it, steam alone had over a 200k peak let alone consoles, and now there is less than 20k, thats because the players that were here new the foundation of the game and the loop of the gameplay are not sustainable, its not good/exciting/balanced/rewarding, its annoying and frustrating, and somehow more tilting than LoL and part of it is because the competitive/esports side is worthless from the game mode to the point system to the foundation of the map being blown apart and then having a team based game where you can spam the same class making super unbalanced team comps from health/abilities/weapons/utility, the whole concept and core of the game is to be as unbalanced as possible which makes for a poor overall longevity.

They should add a BR mode with 30 ppl 10 teams and the map the edges shrink forcing you closer and closer to other teams. the edges dont damage you but they do destroy buildings and everything else around you.

With actualy Gas Dmg so you can maybe survive with a heal gun but the heal gun will run out fast so you have to go out off the Gas in some time*
