Jamison Jr Brown "Panhandle Rag" Leon McAuliffe Watching

Played this Guitar Recital with Junior Brown among other greats you will see at a later date if you have the time. I found these in a old trunk of memorabilia. I had to straighten Jamison Out much of the time when he would get thrown by someone. lol Leon McAuliffe and Eldon Shamblin were among some of the audience made Jamison a little edgy and he wouldn't let me use the kick of course. Just 2 shot gun mics was the pickup device and Mike Marshall did a great job of doing the video and audio recording. Have much more to show just digging old stuff out of different events. The Side stick sure stuck out with the shotgun mic's oh well.

Jr Brown was among the best guitar players around and remains in the top layer of the best of the best. This is another fine example of the Master plying his trade.....

I find some of Junior's work to be overly showy, but this performance is as technically sophistocated as it is musically tasteful.

This is excellent along with the others you posted of Junior back in the day. Give us some history on these videos. Assuming this was at the school where junior taught and met his wife. What year?

I'm not the OP but yes, those were filmed at the Rogers State Leon McAuliffe School of Country Music in Claremore, OK in the late 80's.
