Glamis! Evolution Power Sports and Maverick Rs, what could go wrong? Epic day testing out the Evo tune on Mikes Can Am Maverick R. I still have the stock motor, so it was great to test them against each other to really see the difference. Too bad I wrecked before we could get to the final 110 octane mode. Andy's Pro R has the Boondockers turbo kit and that was wild to see them against each other. All in all, we had a great day! Subscribe to see more Glamis and more carnage.

I cant wait to get the EVO tune on my Maverick R here in Aus. We are lightyears behind you Yanks, have only had 10 Maverick Rs in the country for a month or so. I've got 1 of them 😇

It's crazy the arm folded so easily. Good thing you weren't going 10mph faster you would have crunched the cage and ruined the radiator.

I don’t think it’s a slow vs fast wreck. Faster would have “cleared” it. But there would have been another you wouldn’t have cleared. It’s exactly what you said, everybody wrecks.
I had the same wreck they grab so easy on the ass end ya mine cost me about 5 k to get fixed still waiting on parts

Is the maverick R best to leave in auto mode ,instead of manually shifting?
Yes I think when evp does there tune and the gears rev higher manual will be more fun. Stock manual is pointless except to down shift sometimes

Yes this won needed some clutch work done to it. so it wasn’t the fastest pro r with a turbo but still very impressive

What tune was that Pro r boondockers kit on?
He was running e85 but on low boost 8 Boondockers kit but Whalen tune ,stock clutch I think the big turbo kits are faster than this one, but it’s no slouch either I think after the other evo tunes come out it’ll be faster than its time to run them against each other
I'm running a Boondocker kit as well on my pro r. I can't wait to run some EVO tuned maverick r's. Be safe out there brother hopefully not to much damage to your machine.

I'm running their bigger injector 110 tune at about 12 psi
@@jameslopez3217 ya you should beat them with that for sure. If evo can get the mav r clutch tuned I think it’ll be faster. I want to see it against big turbo pro r to see where it stands after that I think it’ll get close but who knows
E85 is way cheaper in CA than 100 oct, why not just go E85 tune?

I dont mind leading but i had my lawn dart presday of 23. Nit allowed to lead no more. And the same of course , vids are better with cars in front of me. Other i was going to say , all the keyboard warriors come out when u post your wreck. I had people saying all kinds of shit.

At least your out there riding! Good luck finding parts as I hear MavR parts are hard to get at the moment.
I already have a aftermarket a arm sitting here just waiting on the bushings because I knew those arms were weak

It would have been worse if you were going faster the can am bucks in the rear. Slower would have been the move
Slower or faster would’ve been ok. Just that certain sweet spot he was at did it.
