OMG... Hi Micaela
Micaela ミカエラ hope to see you in Fukuoka on march 2018
Wait for the thirst... wait for it.
I watched this video 4 years ago and I came back to this video again because right now I'm studying tourism. I can't believe how much this video helps me on creating my project. Thank you! ❤
I love how you do those introductions, on how you put love for traveling into such meaningful words! Been waiting for this video since yesterday only to find out it's gonna be uploaded 7pm :D Looking forward to more of these fantastic episodes!
thanks!!!! it takes a while to write them
Great video! I honestly love where this channel is going. You set yourself apart from all the other CZcamsrs in your niche. You truly are a content creator. I admire you, your drive, your vision, and the way you live your life. And I know all your future endeavors will be accompanied with success because you know who you are and you're not afraid to share it with the world.
film skill and content is on fire. episodes are getting better and better man.
As usual, Erwan Heussaff doesn't disappoint with his Overnight videos. This is poetry, geography and cooking class all rolled into one. Great job!
thanks Ann
The writing is amazing! One of the best episodes so far.
thanks Ali
Perfect description of most everything I need to know. Thank you .. I can finally say am ready for Japan
oh maaan! Thank you Cebu Pacific, Seabiscuit and Erwan Heussaff for these amazing travel videos. I mean seriously, i ALWAYS end up craving to travel and explore after watching your Overnight videos. The words, the visuals everything is so inviting! Can't wait for Overnight at Siargao!!!
Your little excerpts at the end of your videos, the descriptions, wisdom, musings... are so wonderful. Thank you
I loved Fukuoka, spent about a week there.... and I did completely different things. Wandered around near the river over to a seaport where you can climb a tower for free (sorry don't remember the names), went outside the city to cat island and a flower island (got lost one day so had to go back another day). Had "French" seafood at the port where the owner enthusiastically helped me take a picture in front of it. Met a local on the cat island ferry who brought me to her family's dried fish factory to see more cats and then brought me out for what I think was the same chicken stew, but we had a woman in a kimono sit with us. I was even given a gift of yuzo jam from it. Really random and amazing experiences can be found outside of major cities in japan and sometimes it's best not to plan but just to wander. Just make sure you keep track of your steps. lol
Great stuff here, Erwan. Your video's vibe is refreshing and we'll be back for more. Sending our best regards from Japan.
I went to Fukuoka for a program called GenkiJACS for 5 weeks.
A never forget experience. Watching this video makes me regret not doing enough while I was there.
What you do is inspiring and insightful, I hope you keep doing it!
がんばって!!
Bro you're like my spirit animal. From style, music, food, choice of words, the way you train (though I'm leaning towards body building), and you even quoted my favorite line from "Kafka". After answering some questions on the NY marathon video, I'd like to ask one. What's the brand of your brown shoes? The one on this video and your boots on the Fuji rock vid. I appreciate it! Keep it up mane.
haha thanks man
i have a bunch, i wear them until theyre completely worn and then i get a new pair
I was lucky enough to spend a summer in high school in Nakagawa (a small town just outside of Fukuoka)
I love Kyushu with all my heart! Thanks for this video :)
One of my most favorite episodes of Overnight! Beautifully written, the shots are raw yet calculated, and Erwan you're an enjoyable travel host. I'm excited for more Overnight episodes featuring the not so popular destinations. ☺️👍🏻
You need your own netflix series and have all the overnight episodes on there. Great imagery, words and food. All the best! Love from Canada.
20:41 ... oyakodon? Woooah
your overnight city guides remind me so much of VICE's style of documenting, but with a touch of poetry. you and your team obviously know what you are doing and you do it well. looking forward to more!
This video is the best I've watched in your channel. The intro dialogue as well as the ending was so amazing! Felt like you're preaching me to finally pursue my lifelong dream to travel. Thanks Erwan! More videos plsss
Going back to the Overnight series just because I miss traveling so much and I miss Erwan's narrations/monologues that make me feel so much.
Wow! So profound "You are the Storm!" Will definitely visit Fukuoka with my elderly Mom. This is better than Tokyo coz it is indeed laidback. Best Overnight series I have seen of Erwan. I am a follower. Kudos Erwan!
Great job you guys! Keep it unique as it is, definetly your content and style is a gem
I am now a convert, I would always watch your vids, esp the travel ones but I would not really pay too much attention (that's on me tho). Re-watching it again, I would commend and recommend it!! all informative not dragging. What I love most is your narrative at the start and all throughout each video. It adds magic to the whole of it. Nice writing and insight:))
Always very informative Erwan I loved the show
Love the Haruki Murakami quote! Just finished reading Kafka on the shore and was so happy to find it here
I love Fukuoka..its so peaceful and the people are much nicer there. They are so kind and helpful. Its the perfect place if you want to be alone.
Going to Fukuoka this August. I'm excited. Thanks that I found your travel guide. It will be really helpful :)
Fukuoka's amazing. went back there just for the food. the people theres much nicer and chill too.
Absolutely agree. I JUST came back from my Japan trip. I visited Fukuoka, Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo to end my trip. Fukuoka was my favorite part of my Japan trip, hands down. Very different, and such a breath of fresh air. The locals are warm and inviting. Definitely going back to Fukuoka in the near future.
I agree one of the best episode. Nice one!
Just had an Overnight marathon and yeah, I am massively enjoying it! You rock Erwan! Travel, food, do more! Great job!
This is an awesome vlog Erwan! Great job! You are so poetic! I like it when you are not so serious and just having fun, laughing and smiling...Thanks!
The drum beat and your narration - art.
If it's the same camera guy from the previous episodes, he has immensely improved.
"The sound of taste." Yes.
And that bit of "second voice" to Spice Girl's "Too Much," - epic.
thanks man
Love your narration at the beginning, I always look forward to your overnight city guides!
Just discovered your Overnight series and I'm hooked. Hope you get to do more countries!
I no editting videos takes a lot, Just because I have a channel with Daily content. BUT I WISH YOU UPLOADED MORE!! I love these videos so much :) haha Your editting is next level and just so enjoyable to watch

Excellent video. I am from Seattle but taught English in Fukuoka a long time ago. I agree it is a city still finding its identity.
The creativity is just too much. Well done !! Xx

I love that waves shirts Erwan!! And love all your videos xx
WOW! just WOW! Those delectable foods, the spectacular views and landscapes, and of course the most intelligent backpacker I've ever known. Your VLOG and this channel Erwan only keeps on getting better and better. It's surely growing in me, the way how you narrate your story to people is worth commending. You're such a man with pure passion to not just food but more so... about Life as a whole. I've been learning alot since I've been watching your videos. I applauded you on how much effort, time and wisdom you are putting into your craft. Truly making sense every single word that you utter! In fact, what's making it more interesting is that aside from the foods and delicacies that you feature, I think more than this idea is that you're feeding us food straight to our soul. Craving for more, Erwan! Keep it coming.
hi there. thanks for your comment :)
Erwan Heussaff more travels and adventures to explore. Bring us closer to the world!
One thing I've learnt from watching overnights: Always watch while eating (just have any food in front of you) unless you wanna drool for half an hour watching Erwan fill up his belly. lol
Your channel is my absolute favorite travel show on here! You're my go-to for Asian travel. Keep up the great work and safe travels!

So happy to find a Fukuoka guide
My fave parts!
1. Great writing skills as always. I dont know how you manage to sound so raw, so poetic and so sexy at the same time.
2. You finally managed to properly open an Onigiri!
3. Rapping skills!
4. Shirtless Erwan!
5. That Kafka on the Shore quote was a perfect closing to this ep.
thank you!!!
Awesome video. Glad you liked Fukuoka!
Amazing, keen for the Tokyo Ep
No doubt about the video. It is slick and well put together. Editing vg though content wise, just could have hit a little more of the city, but i get it; you made deliberate choices re that. Fair enough!! Probably right too given you backdrop most of it! Certainly covered the food part! The emotive quality and chat aspect is really goooood. Stylises the clip beautifully and the poem, the sandstorm at the very end, nice. Great closure. There are serious skills here. I am hooked!
This was my first time to watch your video after seeing you from Foodtrip today and I love it. The shots and edits are great plus a little bit of poetry. It is very informative. I shared it to my sister and friends and now am about to watch other videos of yours 😉
You, sir, are a man of substance. I'm gaining a lot of insight from your content.

Spent a bit of time with Wil, Haley, and Daniel while I was in Manila, so had seen you in some of their content, but none of yours.
I can't believe how well done this is. Do you do most of the writing / story or does Cebu Pacific help as well?
