- Keep your rusty metal and use it as a template. This one I was able to use twice, for the left AND for the right side. These are some of the very few panels that we had to fabricate instead of using new ones.

The financial support to the channel doesn't buy you anything special. There is no such thing as early access or VIP content here as I don't want to take away from those who can't afford it. The financial support is your way of saying "Thank you Elin for taking the time to edit these videos!", but only if you feel like it and you can afford it. Just being here, watching, liking, sharing is also a big support and I appreciate it.
THANK YOU!

Love the long videos, nice work fabricating the panels and the shout out to wray
Patient and skilful work.
He knows what he's doing
Simply amazing. I will be trying the tape template trick.
It's been great to watch you improve. It really seems like your fabrication skills are at a whole different level than they were when you started this channel. Thx for the inspiration!
(The amount of wood and almost flat unstressed sheet metal work on a Tr3 is so much more bespoke and hand crafted than say a TR6). I’m sure every car that came out of the factory was almost totally unique and subsequently Elin’s work is very special and incredibly impressive. - He truly has golden hands..👏
Craftsmanship personified with great humour..
You continue to impress me with your fantastic repair work. Thank you!
What u need to do Elin is hammer and dollie along the length of the weld and that will get rid of the buckle in the wing
Your skills amaze me. Great job.
Nice work and good job on the video filming and editing !
It’s amazing how dents and kinks on the rear fender / wing show up on the camera…. it might need your “special unbending tool” to get rid of the bump damage ! 😊
Third, for whatever that is worth. Looking forward to watching, in any case. Well, I did watch it and am really impressed with your fabrication abilities! That car is going to be another patchwork special, and one of the best of its kind! Thanks, Elin!
Elin enjoyed this video, your attention to detail is bar none.just remember even though you’ve had your ups and downs on this TR3.your moving toward your final goal.plus one day you will probably be working on another car that is worse than this.yea just what you need.great video, great job.your the man.continue on doing what you do best.😎😎😎👍👍👍
😎
I had to watch this in two parts, but, I have to say, Fantastic job!
58:57! Lol!
Elin, another great video episode of the TR3 build! That 'Tape Template' trick is slick; I'll be using that idea in my hobby shop for sure.
Sleepness nights when you take it apart to paint it. Will it go back together? Great content.
These cars are beast......trust me an old dude from usa...we always think the frames are straight....I've found a straight frame since I got the top off let's focus on frames...might save some time.,.
Amazing that you have made a car from a pile of disparate parts that don't seem to want to have anything to do with each other!
Elin, I used to work on these old beast....l
I'm not gonna go there now.....the triumphs are frame body.,. everything must be squared
The customer made the right decision bringing their car to you!
You had the old b-post panel as a pattern. If you drilled some holes in it, you could use it as your pattern for the new panel. The holes allow you to see how closely the new panel lies on top of the old panel from behind. This is far more accurate than that flexible shape pattern.
First 😉 Really Nice Repair. !
Elin an old prop master trick when you need to tape an actor’s mouth shut with duct tape is to repeatedly stick the strips of tape to your clean blue jeans, the cotton fibres will stick to it, the more you repeat this the less and less sticky the tape becomes.
The number of repetitions dependent on the whining coming from the actor.
Painter’s tape would be one maybe with a single repetition to de-stick
Good idea. I bought some talcum powder to fix some sticky latex paint which wouldn't dry and I bet this powder would do a great job in removing the tape stickiness.
@@markrobinson8539 of course but you smell like a baby or worse diapers and have to have it handy, a guy’s jeans are usually always handy.
He knows
Elin, I've got an HF 220v spot welder, and the welds seem to be sticking to the electrodes and even sparking off material. I'm honestly afraid to use it on the car, even though the test welds seem strong . Is there a trick to it?
Can I request that the cutoff wheel NOT be called angle grinder but instead call it a 'skinny wheel'? My son loves your show!
You can motorize your bead roller lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ur getting smart..,...
Most times you tell the truth about replacement panels. Other times you seem to just make stuff up!😀
Привет, как глубоко Вы в Канаде находитесь?)
I was going to suggest that you motorize the bead roller, but now I won't.
Hi Elin,
Really enjoy all your content.
Can anyone point me to a video that would help me rebuild my TR250 seats. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Howard
