  • With prices of the E36 3 Series BMW rising over recent years, We have a look at one of the best you could get. The M3 Evolution or "Evo" as it is more commonly known.
    We sadly had a few issues with sound due to cable damage with our lavalier microphone. Sorry about that! We hope the beautiful sound from the S50B32 makes up for it.
    This M3 is owned by our cameraman Matt of MRF Photomotive at / mrfphotomotive

    It is all ready in very good condition. It is going off to Poland tomorrow to a BMW specialist for a complete overhaul. It will be getting all old parts like bushes, fuel lines, etc. upgraded plus a new KW V3 sports suspension all round. When it gets back it is going to Germany for a bespoke sports exhaust and sports induction system It still won`t ever be even red lined. lol
    How much?

    • @cookoncars8059
      @cookoncars8059  Před 3 lety

      I dont ever value cars without seeing them, but if its as good as you say, id say around the 14-16k however the engine needs to be revved through the rev range to keep it in good health. So maybe not red line it but use all the revs from time to time. (Once fully warmed up)
      Hold on to it though because it can only be going up in value. Also keep the milage below 100k or it will effect the value.

      Not sure if it was a Euro only feature. I think it could be bought as a kit but mines simply wired into the sidelights (same lights it uses to come on anyway) and then there is an earthing switch on the slam panel that breaks the circuit when the bonnet closes. same way the trunk/boot light works.

      @MRFPhotomotive Před 3 lety

      @@KOVROL The Carbon trim was all made by hand a few years ago and was prior to owning the M3. Not many RHD centre consoles available that match the weave to the rest so will be irritating (the weave has all been orientated a certain way too to match in the car) I had a spare cubby so trimmed it and fitted the window switches in there. Only I and other e36 fans would know but most wouldn't know/and or care including myself which is fine (still have the slots should someone want to do it later IF i sell the car) Maybe i'll get another remade but for now it's of very low priority.
      The seats i didn't notice until i looked over my 328I seats which i fitted Vaders to and noticed they were later/EVO ones compared to these and i actually like the earlier looks now. The head rests stitching seems nicer with it going across diagonally rather than downwards and it seems the backcovers are also less bulkier and shape more round giving that sportier seat look rather than later ones like you say covers on the leather.
      Seat belts aren't from the modern M Series but have been made/stitched to match them. very important to use the correct stitching type for safety reasons. I'll probably get the rears done as well as the look really good. A nice touch. Red motorsport seatbelts would look terrible with the style i'm going for (Estoril blue, yellow calipers and red seats. too much going on) It suits well in dark colours like boston green with the dove grey interior
      The carbon column housing and B pillars are the final carbon pieces that were trimmed. I prefer it more so that it's less plastic as you know the B pillars aren't trimmed like the A and C. And goes nicely with the Belts.
      Everything is all personal preference and it's what helps to make this car unique. Much like yours with the Cat cams, BBS wheels and Full Supersprint Race exhaust. Very rare people go for the Catcams but great for more mid range (depending on what version is bought).
      Glad you liked the video though. Since then it's had Vanos Overhaul, Valve clearances done which were out quite a bit. All new Lambda and Maf sensors. Currently having all new vacuum hoses and injectors cleaned.
