  • Hooked up the SP1200 to the MPC Live via midi to make a beat. Drums come from the SP1200, samples from the MPC. Like `n Subscribe 4 more videos like this.

    good beat .i like it. One question, did you connect the Live via MIDI in or out? And what settings have you made in the Mpc software?

      @@kamikaze6295 I used my sp1200 to trigger samples on my mpc live. So midi out on the SP1200 and midi in on the MPC. Not figured it out completely, but at least sound came out of both the machines. The midi data spit out by the sp1200 is not logical to the order of the pad of my mpc. For me the setup was to try it the way it was done with an sp1200 and a akai s900

      @@Beats_by_SCT Great content. I just tried this with my Rossum SP1200 & 2000XL. SP1200 pad to 2000 XL pad: D1-A2, D2-A6, D3-A5, D4-C15, D5-A12, D6-A11, D7-B16, D8-A1. Midi perimeters are: Basic Channel 01, Omni, No. SP1200 midi out to MPC2000XL midi in.
