    There is a net in the hood, so if you wash the car or it rains, all the water will flow into the engine compartment???

    I would definitely paint it. To me it looks weird as-is.

    I was thinking about one for my 2016 f250..It is shadow black with a black cherry wrap but I think I would definitely have ford paint it to match which would cost another 1000 bucks...lol I think just to install it as is it would look awful!

    Why don’t you guys do have carbon fiber hoods for the 14 mustang? I’ve wanted to buy them but I’m always too cautious because of bad reviews on google yet I see you guys doing it on newer years not older

    Wow this wheel and tire package is great!

    you know its nice but that lower radiator support on 2018 Mustangs manage to make aftermarket hoods look bad just like the stock hood. This ram air hood still slopes down too much.

    It's a rain catcher. 😂

    Is this a true functional ram air hood? It looks like the heat shield blocks off the ram air scoop.

    What's the weight comparison?

    How much lighter is it?

    Is there a fiberglass version of this?! If not why wouldn’t the 2017 fiberglass version of the hood not fit a 2019 mustang? Would it not fit right or would there just be holes that are missing?

    • @americanmuscle
      @americanmuscle  Před 3 lety

      Due to variations in hood design along with body shape, a hood made for 2015-2017 model Mustangs will not fit 2018-2021 models. -Zach

    This random carbon fiber thing is weird. Why would you not paint it??

    • @zzygyy
      @zzygyy Před 5 lety

      You could. Right now carbon fiber is trendy.

    • @cemsengul16
      @cemsengul16 Před 5 lety

      right? They need to offer this hood in fiberglass also. Carbon Fiber only looks good if all the body panels match, otherwise it looks ricer to me having 1 panel like the hood as carbon fiber standing out.

      A whole carbon car costs minimum 50k and that’s just panels. If you want the chassis in carbon fiber it’ll be around 150k minimum.
      If you have a darker mustang, e.g the dark green, black, dark grey, etc. It looks great as is. Alternatively you can candy paint it to match your car for a coloured car and it’ll still show the weave up close

    The 2018 Mustang looks like such a joke parked next to a 2017 model. That hood is a hate crime towards Mustangs
