Alux.com Hi, Alux! So, I'm hearing impaired. And the best way I can say it is. Can you guys turn the volume up, because it's easier for me to be able to turn the volume down, than to have it at max volume and still not be able to hear. I hope I'm not asking too much. Love the channel. Working on self-discipline atm so the alux tips actually start taking effect. Lol

Sometimes after a while I lack motivation. Because I really can't find someone to talk with that inspires me. So I usually watch CZcams videos with motivational speeches.
Motivation (to start)! So true! Almost unbreakable of the vicious circle in procrastination while those stuffs snowball to more & more & more. Motivation (to start)! Where are u? 😟
The most difficult thing that I think we all can relate to when trying to manage time is the negativity in our environment. Be it from people, workspace condition, weather, etc.
This Alux series is outstanding for the following reasons. 1. Their advice is specific and not general like others. 2. Their list format rather than a rambling boring dialogue keeps you interested and helps you remember their advice. 3. Their background video clips and high quality pictures are way more interesting than just watching one per speak. 4. Their videos are all professionally done. 5. The narrator's voice is very appealing. 6. They have a bit of an edgy attitude on their videos.
Oh my God, don't get lost in the details... I meet this problem every day, and, actually, I understand this issue somewhere deep(very much deep) inside, but now I've got it clearly. Thank you!!!!
I like this 15 minute tips management your time is better just have to work on it more. It’s called Time Management no one is perfect just have to work on it more:)
it's videos like these that motivate me to do better than those around me. I am making a conscious effort to read more, use social media less and watch the things that make me happy, cut off the people who don't, and research what I don't understand. Life can be anything you want it to be. So live it!
Just a quick math check...saving 30 min. / day does not mean 2 hours and 10 minutes (130 min.) every week; I think what you meant there was two hundred and ten (210) minutes which would be 3-1/2 hours.
Suggestions for new videos: Overcoming procrastination, Elvis, how to be happy, success tips, making your mark on the world, Jesus, get published, getting more done, improve your sense of humor, getting out of debt, living longer, improving your health, raise your IQ, tips for making money while traveling, passive income, better grades, is college worth it?, smart living, speed reading, wisdom, self help guru's, Wayne Dyer, self discipline, Anthony Robbins.
For me, it’s setting time for fun and enjoyment, studying at college and running a company can be challenging, setting time to relax and destress has been more important both mentally and emotionally. I’m still working on it, but I’m glad that’s covered in the video. Thanks for the reminder and advice Alux!
Great point about planning meals ahead of time! I've often thought that it was crazy that I spend an hour a day just cooking - which equals 7 hours a week - which is almost an entire "work" day! I'm going to try the Sunday prep time. Thanks!
Thanks for making this video, Alux! I would add Pomodoro technique. I make breaks each 25 minutes. During my breaks, I do some physical exercises, drink water or breath fresh air at the balcony Also I sometimes don't plan nothing. It helps me to unwind and to keep my motivation.
8:22 I am already doing this. I don't use any of social media sites on my desktop/laptop. This really helps to focus on prioritiesed task. Thanks for bringing it out here. I am a big fan n follower of Alux community 👍
All the points of this video are effective for time management. Link your actions to your goals, set your deadlines and schedule your day ahead of time are the points which I prefer the most.
1. Set goals and rewards 2. Prioritise your tasks 3. Learn to delegate 4. Start with small tweaks in your schedule (leaving 30 minutes for skill learning, 20 minutes off social media etc) 5. Set clear deadlines 6. Plan your meals ahead 7. Say no to multi-tasking 8. Link your actions to your goals (evaluate how what youre doing is related to a goal) 9. Block out things that can distract you 10. Schedule your day ahead 11. Take breaks and unwind before sleep 12. Learn to say "No" (to procrastination and jobs you cannot handle) 13. Dont get lost in the details (trying to make everything perfect) 14. Try not to be overwhelmed (by doing one thing at a time and thinking about that only) 15. Keep your inspiration and motivation (talking to people that inspire you, watching motivational talks, regaining motivation)
I LOVE meal prep. Im implementing all this into my life intentionally. Less social media more reading and pouring into myself. Staying focused on my goals and planning my life. 😊
With my personal experience set goals, stay away from distractions (stop scrolling social media), prioritize tasks, keep yourself motivated and set deadlines are very useful for better management.
Thanks for making this video, Alux. This video gave me an idea on how I can manage my time better. The problem that I have when trying to managing my time better is learning how to say “no” and block out things that can distract me. Those two things are the ones that I struggle the most. But again, thank you.
All the points explain in this video are good & very important for better time management but I mostly like points are... 1. Set Goals & Rewards. 2. Say No to Multitasking. 3. Keep your inspiration & Motivation.
Stop staying up late. If you stay up for 1 hour late every night, you’ll lose 7 hours of sleep. This is the reason why some people are so tired at the end of the work week.
My problem was always watching these videos and motivational speakers and not following through with action and as much as I always heard it but didn't do it Sitting down and making and actual list on paper sorting out goals and time management helped alot. This video im sure I watched alot of times but this time I took a handful of useful side tips on my list.Thank you Alux🙏🏼
Multitasking is a struggle for me sometimes and I also struggle with feeling rushed to get a task done. My boss lectured me today about slowing down a little bit and making sure that I'm doing a thorough job.
One thing I just want to mention over here is that -> 30 minutes a day means 3.5 hours per week(mentioned as 2 hours 10 minutes in the vdo) . So it's even more huge that it is described in the video . Go & manage your time really well 👍👍👍 .
6.meet meal before you go 7.one time ,one work 8.link your action to your goal 9.block things which make you distraction 10.casual your day before starting your day 11.take break and get relax 12.learn to say NOOOO* 13.do not lost in detail 14.try not to be over round 15.keep motivation 16.
This video is worth more than gold. This is true divider between rich and poor, smart and stupid, more money and no money. You did it again lovely voice and company. You struck oil again
Is listening to music while doing work considered multi-tasking? And btw, great videos. You guys are always honest about what it really takes to make our lives better in the future. Thanks a ton!
If you are doing physical activities, music will add a great flavor. If you are doing tasks with creativity, precision, reading pr writing, music might distract you. My Regards to all.
For me, my challenge in time management in the last year was the relationship with my girlfriend. Even if she says she isn't going to, she is demanding. It's very difficult not to be distracted by her when I'm not with her, and also to hang out together for short periods of time if I gotta go back to being busy. She says she accepts my time limitations as a downside she can handle, but, sometimes she does not act like that. I gotta stand up for myself in front of her and that really takes focus and time to do well. I don't know how it's going to be, being single, but at this way might be eliminating a great cause of time and energy consumption and guilt problems among other things.
Great video. I feel this is a video that I need to watch multiple time so I can start making the changes. It looks simple but is so hard break old habits. People with natural time management are ahead of the curve, my detail oriented always drag me back.
All the points of this video are very good to manage the time. But I prefer Prioritize your task, Block out things that can distract you and schedule your day ahead are the best points to manage time and get success in your life. Thank you Myself Shivam Vishwakarma
Don't get lost in the details! This is exactly why I've benn so lost on and how to manage my time better so I can complete more tasks. I am kinda a bit analytical and try to cope with the tasks in the most perfect possible manner. I know it takes tonns and tonns of time to pull this off but the result is by no means "EXCEPTIONAL" at the end of this day. If you have the time pressure, you have no choice but going with the flow and see if it will pay off in the not so distant future

Questions: 1. What if in your existing circle you don’t have mentor like person or you’re not close with them. (collgueas at work?? ) What are the ways to find and get to know them. 2.what are the milestone tracking app you’d recommend. We have Atlassian Jira for work. I wonder it have a personal version?
Love this video, it taught me alot. However, one thing I don't like is "cut on the stuff that's dragging you behind" shows a person playing video games in grayscale, framing video games as only a bad thing.
I FULLY agree on saying NO to multitasking. And I was fired because my ex boss want me to multi -task everything and then want me to work on a superb/quality service
