Just adding to the convo. I immediately thought of gun game from CS. Can only build grunts, units upgrade when they get a kill, grunts to thug to rocko, etc. Game finishes when you get a grunt to a titan.
Yeah not sure what settings specifically you're looking for. Only thing I've really changed is making it so I have grid building keys with the default unit commands. Do you have something more specific in mind?

Arboreal Squid utterly battered me in a 4v4 the other night.
Never have a lost a game so quickly lol.
Squid is real strong. He plays a lot of 1v1s/ffa/small team games and hes always super solid.
