- I originally made a Thorn Birds video to this song using Windows Movie Maker but as I really love this combination I had to do it again with Sony Vegas. I did change most of it!

Forty years later, I have not seen a movie that comes close to The Thornbirds. Such perfection in acting, plot, facial expression, music. It is unforgettable!

I just rediscovered this movie. I had forgotten how good it is.
Was the first book to make me cry and the series was beautiful. Richard Chamberlain has always been a favourite of mine. Music was gorgeous

This is one of the best movies ever. Richard is so handsome and Rachel is one beautiful lady. I love the setting and the history the film shows for Australia outback. Those that wrote this are very talented.

Bellissima serie, anche perché tocca temi diversi, non solo il rapporto intenso e particolare tra Ralph e Meggie. La ricchezza e la povertà, la differenza tra classi sociali, il prediligere un figlio rispetto a un altro, l'ambizione e la finta perfezione che possiamo ricercare in noi stessi, l'amore vero che fa saltare tutte le regole. Per non parlare dei bellissimi paesaggi australiani, Grecia, Londra e Roma, ma sullo sfondo sempre Drogheda. Una colonna sonora emozionante e indimenticabile. Serie da Oscar, se fosse stato possibile. 💕🌟

Lomas importante es que toca las relaciones íntimas de un sacerdote violando las reglas de la iglesia, y enamorándose primero de una niña, algo terrible, y después de esa pequeña que crece, debería de haber abandonado el sacerdocio, y haberse casado con ella, pero claro sería otra historia!

Richard didn't come out of the closet until the last year or so. He was exceedingly handsome and was always doing these romantic, lead roles. He came from an era in Hollywood whereby you just didn't reveal that type of thing. It would ruin your career. Gay or not, he is still drop dead gorgeous, and, boy can he act!!!
No one could have played Ralph the bricks art better than Richard Chamberlain for anyone better as Megan as Rachel Ward I love these two actors in this movie
