I just wanna say to anyone who is struggling with learning to drive, I started at 18 and was crippled with anxiety, I just couldn't bring myself to keep learning so I gave up. I'm 27 now and I passed my test yesterday with only 1 minor! Honestly can't believe how far I've come. I'm so much more relaxed since starting to learn again a year ago, I'm ready for it now and I just wasn't back when I was younger. My motivation was just to have independence, I hate relying on lifts and I hate getting buses. The biggest piece of advice I can give anyone is you're not a failure because you gave up, there's no harm in trying it again another day because how else will you know if you can do it? Anyone out there that is struggling, I totally understand it. Biggest thing for me, aside from learning with an instructor, was watching these videos religiously, doing Pin's course and lots of private practice - that grew my confidence tons.
Everyone just needs to find the best way to learn for themselves and remember, we all go at our own pace and all have different paths. Best of luck to all the learners out there, keep going, you got this!
Also to Pin, thank you so so much, couldn't have passed without your videos!!
I also started learning to drive at 17, i had no confidence and driving was not for me… at 20 i ended up living in italy for 4 years, i came back more confident. My dad then ended up in hospital and we then had no driver at home so had to rely on people to take us to hospital to see him, that was my push to learn to drive again, i even bought my own car as i was more determined this time, i passed my test at 25 with also 1 minor… its been 10yrs now and it was the best thing i ever did…..
That's amazing 👏 it's the best feeling to have that freedom.
I passed yesterday after 5 years of learning my anxiety was so bad
@@wendywalsh592 congratulations 🎊
That’s an amazing story you have @kellywiggle1.
I first started in the U.K at 17, but then not long after (mainly due to myself making lots of mistakes) I lost motivation, and had a 6/7 month break.
However, I too then decided to jump back in, and decided I’d go all in this time, and wouldn’t stop until I had that licence.
Since then, I’ve turned 19, mastered the clutch, taken numerous hours with family and an instructor, and now they both feel I’m almost ready to go for a test. Hopefully within the next month or so!
I still can’t believe I used to stall after every move off, but everything almost seems so effortless now. It truly does give you that extra freedom, and for me personally, has given a hugely needed boost of confidence. 🙂
I got my test in 15 days and I’m absolutely bricking it. I don’t think I’ll pass but the driver instructor has A LOT of faith in me
Have faith in yourself. Maybe try doing a mock test to see how far you are and what you can possibly improve. Just take your time, be safe, and remember you're in control of the car, don't let the car control you. You've got this.
Best of luck to you
Be confident and jus watch many vids. Do a lesson before ur test if possible
Pray to God it actually works
You can do this
1. Read the Road rules
2. Remember those rules while driving
3. practice as much as you can
4. Watch along such driving test videos along
5. have a mock test before final test
Been watching you for a good 5-6 month and today I passed with one fault! Works a little different in the netherlands but just wanted to throw out a comment I never thought this day would Come and if you're worried just remember you will always come across freak incidents, you haven't had years behind the wheel and the examiner knows that. I honestly was sick with nerves, nerves wont stop you passing!
Great channel what ever level you are thanks for the content 😊
I just passed my manual driving test last Monday and huge thank you to you and your videos as it helped me prepare for the most important day of my life this month. Hope you could help more people like me. 😊
Hiya, just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for these wonderful videos. I passed my test today (first attempt, and at the grand old age of 39!). I got four minors, and am over the moon! Your content has been such a hug help :)
Can you help me for a instructor
This man is fantastic help I pray he brings more videos like this I haven't taken any lessons and I failed months ago all the way traveld to Nottingham..now I have to wait until 28th December so long away I can not fail it's life or death I believe I can pass just watching this experts videos..I only watch this man as he speaks clear and shows you all the specific details needed
Great video. I am an instructor in Rep. of Ireland. I am always saying to learners to scan T junctions-look both ways equally. The last look you should do is the opposite side to the way you’re driving. Always great instructional videos. We still have the old test (pre uk 2017) with turnabout and left reverse. Test really needs to be updated here.
I have passed and got my license and got my car and started to drive but still I’m watching his video to have more knowledge !!! Thank you
I'm really happy the videos were helpful and congratulations on passing your test. Welcome to the DGN Alumni!!
Thank you so much for your videos. I passed a couple of weeks ago and they really helped me to not only pass my driving test but also be a confident and safe driver overall. Keep going. Your time is greatly appreciated 🎉🎉🎉
Well done on passing your test
I've got my test on Tuesday and my anxieties getting the better of me. Absaloutly bricking it 🙏🏽 may the force b with me 🙏🏽 and good luck to anyone else taking their test soon. Honestly wishing you all the best and every success.
Got my test tomorrow! So excited and nervous. These videos are awesome thanks so much!
I passed first time on june 19th, my honest opinion on these viideos is that they help with the finer things in driving that we often look over e.g. observation and safe driving, i fully reccomend ppl with upcoming test dates booked to binge watch the videos and stay calm during the exam good luck cherrs
just passed my test on wednesday, thank you so much for these videos, so invaluable to me and im sure most other learners. keep doing you pin
Passed my test the last week with 0 driving lessons, getting 0 minors, all self taught in my own car. This was one of 3 channels (this being the main) that I watched religiously to learn what I needed to stay up to date. Couldn't be more thankful Pin 🙏
nice one man
@vertigoEdits appreciate it man
That’s amazing. I’m about 40 hours in and I still feel like I’m crap at driving 😂
Well done 👏
@@gemmalarbey everybodys path is different, don't get discouraged, you'll get there 👏
I'm really happy the channel was able to help and well done on passing your test.
Very helpful, and detailed. I was struggling with reverse parallel parking manoeuvre and after watching this video it helped me get to know how to check observations when parking.
The rule of thumb is to just be hyper aware of your surroundings.
When driving look as much as you would when crossing a busy road on foot
I myself can't believe how my parents for example drive, they just look in their mirrors and go even when backing up, i myself everytime do a indepth 360° of my surroundings before moving out
I passed yesterday first attempt! 🎉 Thank you for all your videos!
Try and go into it believing you’re a good driver and make sure to do your observations (I kind of exaggerated my mirror checks lol). Also just relax, it wasn’t as scary as I thought it’d be and went by quickly!
Thank you for watching the channel and well done on passing your test
Thank you!!! I need this right now 🤗🙏🏾
@@Zipporahwalker2107 you’re welcome! Good luck!
@@ValerieAbena thank you! I passed today 🤗🥳🙏🏾

Passed today 1st time 7 minors and its down to your videos inbetween lessons. Cheers bud i don't know you but you helped me pass. Thank you
Thanks for your wonderful videos, straight to the point and very informative! Passed with just your videos, thank you!
Thank you for the videos! They are really helpful may God bless you! I passed my test!! always put God first in anything you do, do your effort and God will bless! Never give up!!
Passed my test on Thursday, all these videos helped me a lot, thank you.
Well done on passing your test
well done x
Just passed my test first time with 3 minors! Thank you again for your videos, really helped 🙏🙌
Hey! i just wanted too thank you for your videos.. i had my test today and passed! with 5 minors. i have spent alot of time watching your videos and it has really really helped me. Thank you again! absolutely buzzing!!
A drinking game every time you say “yeah” would be deadly 😂
With junction checks, I learned it practically last lesson. I was in a three way junction (turning right off a side street to main road) with another road ahead staggered down to the left.
I did my right check, left check back to right check. All clear, foot off the brake as I was turning my head for a final left check and a car had pulled up on the ahead side street and turned fairly quickly onto the main road. So I was able to hit the brakes before my instructor could even move her foot.
Right blind spot checks are easier for me because my sister is currently attempting to pass her bike test and she calls them lifesavers too. Every time I'm checking, it's in my mind because any biker could be my sister.
Another thank you for a great video. Always explain it well.
I just passed my exam today 🎉
Well done on passing your test
Any tips
Congratulations
Thank you, keep up with the great videos 🙏
Ive got my test in 3 days, thank you for all your videos that you do, youve helped me get a better understanding of the rules of the road and safe driving
Apart from your brilliant teaching. You look typically like my brother we lost 10 years ago . Literally he looks like you in EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. Bless you and your family.
😂
A lot of people passing tests in the comments. Congratulations!!! Its a great achievement 🎉
Your videos are really helpful, passed my test 3 days ago with 3 minors, I had no instructor and it was my first time. Thanks
Wow! Congratulations!
Hope to achieve the same feat too
Passed my test Friday just gone, can finally watch this channel without that anxiety lol
Welcome to the DGN Alumni and well done on passing your test
Just past my test this morning with 5 minors 🎉 videos really helped . Woooo
Thanks so much... i bought ur ultimate driving test course. Passed first time at Portsmouth today✌️
A video on meeting traffic in this style would be good
Great driving man
Blind spot checks cannot be made straight off the bat by everybody. A person, young or old may have a severe back or neck issue which causes immense pain when twisting.
I have passed my test yesterday. Thanks to your videos ❤🎉
I've got my test in 3 months and I haven't even started on things like reversing yet. That's why I'm now watching these videos as I learn one thing and by the following week I've forgotten it again. I have already failed my test twice 8 years ago and it knocked my confidence and I'm now trying again but I'd say I'm worse than ever now (not my instructors fault just it's been so long and now I'm older it's like starting from scratch again)
I honestly think I'll either never pass my test or it's going to take 4 or 5 times at least to pass.
@@msdragonfire8319you will eventually 👍
Bb
Passed on Monday first time the videos you posted were really helpful thanks 😁
Well done on passing your test
Passed 3rd time with 3 minors on Monday. Videos were very helpful, thank you
Got my third test coming up on Tuesday, hope I pass
Passed my test today second try with 2 minors. I was very nervous in the 1st one which I failed because of 1 serious, but it was a pretty stupid mistake and I knew this time I'll go in just as if it was another driving lesson. I've been watching your videos way before i started learning to drive in general, atleast 2 years ago. This channel has been a big help, thank you!
Thanks for this, this was a great help

I passed my test on Tuesdays thanks to these videos 🎉
What car is that Pin? Cheers, love the channel and the current series with learner Phoebe 👍🙏
This guy is quality
Great video my friend. Do you have videos of reference points for the monovures?
Mental how I’ve got my test in 2 hours and I didn’t know that last point. Very helpful 👍
Did u pass
Its funny sometimes how things are clearly taught & students comprehend the purpose/reason why it is required & the importance of doing so, however it conveyed in general terms such as always make full observations when.. but can still fail to carry out the task properly because the instructor hasn't broken it the way it has been in this video. I was fully aware of it being a requirement, I also fully understand why it is so important it ensures the safety of pedestrians other road users & finally both your own safety & the safety of your vehicle & even with what I thought was a comprehensive understanding of the subject I could of failed to carry out the task adequately simply due timing. Because if its not second nature then its highly possible to neglect part of the process especially in stressful situations such your actual test. I going to rewatch again make sure to double up on turning observations & blind spot coving which I have been doing but given not doing so is a fail best to rewatch & make sure it is how I am always doing these elements of my driving. Long winded explanation of my appreciation how important I think what has been shown
Hi bro gd work,,your new subscriber
Thank you for your help and information
I have my test tomorrow, watching these videos the night before to hopefully help. 🤞🤞🤞
Remember to check evrything if in case car stall or you don't do proper hand brake like me today - I fail.but I wish you good luck tommorow 👍
@@agnib5330what is the proper hand brake please
Passed with 2 minors!! 🎉🎉

When you don't do proper, it is showing on the dashboard
Well done on passing your test.
Thank you pin this was really helpful 😊😁xx
passed first time earlier this morning, your videos definitely helped so thank you
Congratulations on passing your test
I failed my test just cuz i didn’t check right shoulder , i have 3 years experience Europe driving and failed test just for 1 mistakes thats is serious for me it sounds funny, i have watched this video so next time i wont have a chance to fail.
Thanks for explaining every single move!

Thank you so much 😊
Thanks for your tips
I just passed my driving practicals and I’m so happy right now.
Im gonna have my test soon and wondering if u could show us how to reverse parralel park without faults pls 😊
passed at the start of June but still watch your videos, thank you, Pin!
Passed my test 43 years ago and still watch driving videos!
Test on Tuesday! Praying to pass first time!
holy shit that pov is awesome
My test is after 7 hrs and i wish i am confident after watching these videos.
Pray for me to pass the test
You're a good lad
Your allowed to do the 45 degree angle reverse park into a bay right? cause my Instructor says it’s allowed. It’s that or the 3 line forward reverse
I’m taking my hopefully next week
Hi Pin, hope you are well
When doing any maneuvers specifically the bays, when would you have to stop for a car whilst carrying out the maneuver?
Good video.
basically you are explaining like a driver should be doing 360 spin of there head twice in each scenario like at junctions parking etc. my question is if someone have slight neck issue able to drive how can they do that is it possible for him 360. and what do you think about all mirrors is it not covering all spots. please respond to my comment i am regularly watching you videos thanks
Please make a video for car park reverse
I was told I should be looking at centre mirror before stopping at traffic lights? Will I fail as I forget because I have to stop anyway?
Been watching a while and got my test tomorrow! update you on the result
😅 Samee good luck on yours
Good luck to you both, let us know how it goes
Just failed for one serious fault right at the beginning of the test. Doing a forward bay park, reversed out to correct it. Completely empty car park. No pedestrians. Private car park as well. No cars either. Looked around me multiple times. Must have forgot to check my right blind spot while reversing. Corrected the park and got it between the lines. Then went on to do the rest of the test and got a whopping 0 minors. This was my 6th test. My instructor was livid because he was so certain I had passed. But hey I guess I'll do another one :) I think the test can be a bit cruel sometimes ngl.
So sorry for you I don't pass today because someone want to overtake me when I stuck to move a car after don't do proper hand brake I don't know about checking around me and i dont do it before and I failed 😢
That’s awful! I hate when its something as small as that. When can you have your next test? Is there a long waiting list?
@gemmalarbey I book for 13.09 but want to catch ASAP I learn yesterday that nobody will wait for me I must to check always what's happening around me
@@gemmalarbey The wait is until december, but I am moving across the country in two weeks. So I'm trying and praying to get a cancellation as I don't want to learn yet another new area
Really sorry to hear that guys, I'm hoping you get your tests rebooked quickly
thank you so much
Mines tomorrow at 10:14, my test was originally booked for the 28th at 1:35 but it got cancelled 2 hours before and I’ve been on edge all weekend now 😬
Got my test this Tuesday
Got my test tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🙏🏼
Good luck with your test, let us know how it goes
@@DGNDriving passed first time with 2 minors 🤩
If i am going to reverse park into the bay, do i need to signal left or right ??
I passed first time on Friday anyone nervous just think it’s a mate that wants to go on a drive but take you have to take there route
I have subscribed
I’ve got my test this week and I’m so scared 😢 I’m worried in case nerves get the better of me. I’ve done so much practice and on my second last lesson everything was perfect but last lesson started messing up reverse bay parking 🤦🏻♀️ I’ve got it again now so fingers crossed I’ll manage it in the test if I get asked that one. I have one more lesson before the test.
Good luck.
@@SusieQ156 thank you so much! Did a lot of practice yesterday and it was much better, I think I was tired and stressed out the other day.
@@katherine4145 practice makes perfect- take your instructor with you on the test, it will help calm your nerves. I failed mine yesterday- a few minutes before the end of the test - the examiner was not nice either - asked me to do a turn , lm sure she said right, then she started shouting, l said left - left and you were going right , she may have said this but to shout like that - unnecessary- smh - too much power these examiners. But yes lm sure you will be fine the test is not that bad- as long as you have revised your questions and had enough driving practice you will pass.
@@SusieQ156 oh no, I’m so sorry. She sounds awful - you’d think they could just be nice and it would really help calm people’s nerves and drive to the best of their ability. I’ve heard some of the examiners round here aren’t especially nice. Was that the reason for her failing you? She sounds really harsh and horrible. I hope you don’t have too long to wait to try again. I’ve done loads of practice, and I know all the show me/tell me answers- I’m just scared in case I forget one tiny mirror check or something silly! Or drive off without putting the seatbelt on or forget to take the handbrake off because the car I’ve been practising in it just comes off automatically! This time tomorrow it’ll be all over, one way or the other 😬
@@katherine4145 - yes thanks for that - yes she did make me feel uncomfortable 😣. But yes l have a test booked for January which is too far away and at the moment contacted an instructor who will find me an earlier test date- will have to pay £60.00 though, rather pay that than wait till January. Again good luck on your test😊
Thank you
am having driving test in week and half, i hope i pass!
I failed exactly because of this ONE REASON MANN SO GUTTED
Hey DGN I have my test coming up And am struggling With bay parking With reference points I have noticed you have Stickers, Tape or something like that on you side doors Does this help with Reference point and Also if so Can you leave them on in Test- Please get back to me DGN I watch all your videos like everyone 👍
When you turned left and entered a new road you didn't check center mirror or advise us to at least, when i did my test in january, center mirror after joining a new road was how we was told to do it
I failed my test not even 1 minute in for not looking left at a junction coming out of the test centre. Apart from that I only got 1 minor the entire test 🙈
Pin, I passed my theory on Saturday first try 😊😊 I’m doing my 4th lesson on Sunday and your videos are helping me so much.
Well done on passing your theory test, I'm glad the videos are able to help
Glad to see that I'm not the only one that started learning how to drive, after getting a licence. 😁
got my test in a day :))
Got my test in August, Pin I'd really appreciate it if we could do a mock test just before 👍
Good luck with your test, DM me on IG if you want to do a test
Hello nice video. Do have Hindi. Can I ask one thing please kindly tell me.
If I will do any menovers when will test. If will look car screen camera when will need to understand will be fail. Not mean will look continue. Just when need to look for my help.
I have my test in 1 week at wednesbury test centre. I feel sick every time I think about it. Been on and off learning for 15 years because of anxiety , I keep booking and then cancelling it last minute. I’m so anxious I’m worried encase I have a panick attack in the car it will be a massive achievement for me if I do the test without panicking. Doubt il pass anytime soon 😢
I feel you girl! I got my test in nearly in 2 weeks and I’m bricking it. You can always do a mock test if you’re ready for an actual test always be confident x
Good luck with your test, just remember that you have gone through everything with your instructor and it's ok to be nervous on the day, I think most people will feel some sort of nerves. Even if you make a mistake, don't think about it just keep your focus on the test.
Hi Pin, any update for your next learner driver like Rajan and Brandon please :)
Good Question, I need to see if any of the nephews and nieces are ready to learn lol
4 days until my test..😂😂😂 all i do is watch videos on youtube with 2hrs instruction and driving with family..my life is never serious. But I'll come back to testify that i passed my 2nd attempt.
Is it necessary to stop at double broken & solid white line at junctions or making a turn?
