- Hello everyone, in this video we will be going over the best driver bit case in my opinion and I can tell you right now, it isn't Milwaukee.
Thank you all for watching and I will see you on the next one.

I agree with you on the Milwaukee bit cases, way too tight. I have a set of shockwave twist bits in the case, and the bits are great, still razor sharp after years of use, but getting them out is a nightmare. I have to put gloves on to get them out because I’ll cut my fingers up.
I have the same issue with my shockwaves. Of the cases I have here, the Milwaukee are my least favorite.
I have the Milwaukee shockwave 100 pc impact bit set. It's two boxes. Once you've moved the bit holders around a little, it all loosens up just right. One handed bit removal and easy tip up and out moveable rows. They are definitely pretty stiff on the first two or three times handling them, but just right after that.
Do you have the new cases or the old ones like I show in this video? I've tried the new cases and they are a lot nicer imo. I'm glad they loosened up and work good for you now.
@tgltoday2717 The cases don't have the clear lid, but they do have the little stacking bars on the bottom. They don't have the hole in the bottom for the magnet either, but they fit perfectly inside the packout box on the inside wall. It's a pinch fit style on the back wall that holds the two cases. I only realized they would fit there after coming across a guy showing that they simply pressed in. The torx bits go up to 40. The kit has mostly Robertson. Then Phillips. Then a few flathead's. Some rarely used types in there as well. The magnetic extension is about 2 inches, but wow, it's a little too tight right now. I'm hoping it loosens up a bit also. The # is 48-32-5129.
Thanks for the info
I totally agree with you. The Milwaukee cases suck so hard!!! For me Dewalt is far nicer to use. I do only ha e those two though.
I just love how all the dewalt cases connect to each other and have clear lids. It's an amazing bit storage system they created I think.
Yeah the Milwaukee case is terrible! A bit of a letdown, because the bits are very good.
I also have an Irwin set (I believe the same cases as Dewalt, just a different colour). That case is much better!
I own Bosch and Milwaukee bit sets and I found Bosch case too bulky and also Bosch bits wear much faster than Milwaukee bits. Milwaukee bits are superior to any brand I’ve ever used before perfect fit and loooong lasting, I like Milwaukee bit case despite it’s super tight holder. The case is more ergonomic and easy to hold with one hand when open and I noticed bit holder tightness is decreasing over time :)
I saw Milwaukee has a new clear lid case they have some bits in at home Depot for Black Friday. I think I'm going to pick one up to see what it's like. I like the clear lid. I also like Milwaukee bits. Bosch see to be my least favorite bits as well.
@@tgltoday2717 I saw them too, looks like they redesigned case to fit perfectly on Packout system. The clear lid case is slimmer and half capacity, I like it and will buy some! Thanks.
bosh has clear ones with both sides bit storage but you probably know now! lol makita xps bits are the best though ph2 bit is insane.
I think I remember seeing the 2 sided clear ones. I had a one sided clear one but was unable to find the 2 sided clear when I bought my Bosch case. It was well before this video. Yes I love the XPS bits. Thanks for watching.
I've also used them all and have been a bosch guy for a long time! With that being said, I think they all have come a long way!
Glad I'm not the only one. Dewalts 3 different sized clear lid ones that all connect is very impressive I think.
I have 4 bosch cases size L. the small one (M) is nice too. but L is the best.
I had no idea they had different sizes other than I saw the clear lid case which was only bits in the bottom, none on the lid. So is the case that I have considered the large?
Nice touch, the romantic music 🎶 came on when you said,, my favorite.. 🤓
Haha thanks. I really do love those Bosh cases.
just bought the Bosch, hands down the best in every category
No one knows what they are missing until they try the Bosch lol
@@tgltoday2717 you only know what you know lol
Haha indeed
Guessing this is only for this specific bit set? I have the 108 piece Milwaukee and I can’t find any other case that comes close to it as of today
For the Milwaukee bit cases, I've had 3 different case with a wide variety of driver bits. I've also got a 15 piece impact ready shockwave drill bit set and they all are the same as the one in this video. I'm not sure what the 108 piece cases are like. Are you saying you like the 108 piece case?
@@tgltoday2717 sorry the 108 piece is the socket set. Not bits or drivers like in this vid. I like the dewalt box but want the Milwaukee bits haha
@@benschroeder1161 I know the feeling. My dewalt bit box has Milwaukee bits in it. The dewalt boxes having the small, medium and large with the clear lids and all being able to connect to each other is by far my favorite overall set up. I just wish it connected to the tough system instead of the t-stak. If it connected to the tough system, I would have gotten some of those boxes instead of the ridgid ones.
Bosch cases are totally the best I have a couple in my toolbox they are great love the bits
I really wish the clear lid case they have would let you put bits on both sides. At least the clear lid cases I've seen do not. Regardless my one Bosh case is my go to for everything. Glad to hear you love them as well. I broke my first Bosh bit last weekend. I was very surprised.
I really like the Dewalt bit sets and the cases are nice. I haven't really experienced the others because I like the Dewalt so much.
I like the Dewalt bits a lot myself. I think they are your best bang for your buck of all the manufactures bits. But for some reason I just like to try them all to see what they are like lol The clear lid cases that come in three different sizes and all connect is just awesome I think.
I just recently got an impact driver and I went with that Makita XPS bit set-that is a nice case they have
They did a nice job. How do you like the bits ?
@@tgltoday2717 I just do a little stuff around the house when it comes up, but they’ve been very good
@@radioclash8175 happy to hear that.
Have you tried the milwaukee clear cases?
I just got one. I've not had a chance to play with it other then I opened it to see if the bits came out easier and the set I got do.
