Sadly, education doesn’t work like that. They arbitrarily make exams more difficult as people get better at them (and teachers get better at teaching them).
Also grade parameters are made after results come in. So when everyone is using this, you won’t benefit because the exams and grade parameters will just change to accommodate.
@@christopherbradley7149 that's not a bad thing though. If that would happen we would have a smarter better educated population. Grades are irrelevant

Sooo that movie "her" was the most accurate representation of an IA. And i remember the critics saying that was not very convincing.
Who the heck was saying that? To me it was always the most realistic depiction in a movie of how things where going. Even the ending is imo metaphorically an accurate prediction (the AI will have goals that don't fully align with ours and pursue them even if that isn't what we want)
I remember watching her and being completely blown away by it because I knew what was coming being a conspiracy theorist.
Most people dont realize that there are two sides of tech. The back-end, which is all the data and algorithmic side that people rarely encounter, and the front end. Most AI work to this point has been backend heavy, and only recently had front end become the forefront of the technology. As you see in this, it takes the now long-existing object recognition tech (leather jacket, industrial style, looking at camera) and now makes it front-end heavy eith "oh, theres a guy wearing a very stylish leather jacket with a cool industrial background. He is gery focused and ready to interact while looking at the camera!".
So AI itself is not that inherently better in this, its the packaging and how they present that information and can communicate it. Which is a feat all on its own. Thats where the Her equation comes in, where most people were focused on the back-end realism and current technology, ignoring the front end advances that make Her possible.

if you factor in that most AI know what they are and how they learn and what happens to them if they perform bad, its not impossible for them to be "nervous" if you train them to understand what emotions we have and how to interpret our voice vibes. could be an emergent ability of the network or WILL be once its complex enough. IMO humans "consciousness" is an overrated thing. we are just more complex and had a longer, less restricted time to evolve with more sensors. AI just recently got Eyes and ears. give them another year of "millions of runs ins simulation" and at some point they will have their 3 billion years of evolution like we had with the same sensoric as we have and the same network complexity as we have. whats gonna make them different at that point? only their superiority and potential for growth.

So you know, don't be a high-ranking member of a drug cartel, don't have suspicious connections with foreign governments, that kind of shit. Stuff 99.9% of us wouldn't even think of never mind participate in. They aren't going to be busting down doors for every line some random company's image analyzer thought "might" be cocaine. That's just too small-scale for them to give a shit.
I'd be far more worried about corporate knowledge than government knowledge. The same argument applies, but "making yourself known" has a far, far broader definition. That could be as simple as applying for a job or a loan, trying to rent an apartment, etc.
Plus, you have an account on at least one social media site (CZcams - and thus the entire Google ecosystem). I'm guessing you probably have others. "They" likely have already known everything they need to know about you for at least a decade by this point.
Apparently, AI can hack into your wifi router, and use its radiowaves to "see" into your house even through walls. So the feds and others might already be using that.
Boy and we thought china's facial recognition system was bad.
and maybe it can be used to make false accusations
You're not being forced to use it though
This version natively understands spoken language at the AI layer. Previous versions used tts and speech to text in conjunction with a text model. That’s why this is so much more natural. It’s a truly next-gen AI model
"next-gen AI model". Meanwhile GPT-4 has been out for only a little longer than a year
We're going lightspeed
13:14
Not quite my tempo.
This probably how the Victorians felt when they first saw the first light bulb, the first airplane, the first motion camera, and the first car.
I've done some work on AI in the backgrounds, and it's accelerating at an alarming rate even for consumer level stuff, think about all the stuff the general public doesn't have access to.
To be honest, I think I am more amazed at the amount of people that outright stick their heads in the sand and refuse to admit how advanced AI has gotten just over the last 6 months alone (see: comments that genuinely think this is all staged and scripted when one can take a few minutes themselves to play around with the new versions of AI available to the public to completely disprove what they claim).
Things have moved at such a fast pace that people still have this idea of AI imprinted into their brains from 2 years ago when AI first started to gain traction in the public space and they haven’t bothered to follow along with its journey since.
For example, there are people that still believe it’s in the “beep boop beep can’t draw hands, wrong amount of fingers, boop beep can’t draw faces” phase while blatantly ignoring how it actually has surpassed that hurdle by creating imagery that is anatomically correct with the right proportions.
Yes, if you use a generator like DALL-E through Microsoft’s Bing/Copilot setup, you’re going to get generated images that still show AI lacking that’s worth laughing at and thinking “ah it’s not advanced, it still can’t generate hands”, but people are failing to take into consideration how those are often older versions of the AI. The newer versions that aren’t outright available to all (unless you pay for it) are well beyond that.
They gloss over how AI can now take sentences spoken by someone to then use that same voice to create new sentences or even full songs. A principal at a school recently in the US had this happen to them. Someone took his words to have him then say a bunch of racially charged stuff that caused him to lose his job and ruin his reputation in the community, until months later police found out it was generated by AI by the PE teacher who had a grudge against the principal. Apparently that’s all fake to people that still think videos like this are “scripted”.
Some people really have no idea what is out there in terms of AI and what it is capable of… willful ignorance by choosing to pretend it’s totally not happening. Just as you said, imagine the advancements it has made with versions the public can’t even use yet … and soon, those versions will come to the public, and behind closed doors there will be even more advancements we’ll have yet to see …
Good. Bring on Mendicant Bias.

Can AI help us achieve socialism faster? That's the only important question right now. If it can, then yes, I would condone all progress towards better and more powerful AI.
"You look lonely. I can fix that." has never been so real.
Stop fear-mongering for no reason.
Great use of A.I in actual day to day irl application.
im definitely going to include a prompt for all responses "dont sound so god damned happy please"
Can we get a rest in piece for the rabbit r1 and humane ai pin, I've never seen tech go obsolete so fast.
Those things were trying to sail the market just through quirkiness which usually results in failure so rest in pieces to them
Those were just scams tho
they will be using exactly the same model and have first mover advantage with their hardware
@@therealOXOC first mover advantage is real but what they are trying to market is already performed in greater capacity by smartphones and smart watches
@@rudraraghuwanshi4583 yeah but the goal of this devices ist to get you away from apps and your phone. contra doom scrolling. the rabbit with the new model(models will get better and more useful and fun) showcased in the vid would be much better for example for kids than giving them an phone with endless brain rotting shorts or tik toks.

We're mere years maybe even less before a machine passes the Turing test.

Nice Jurassic Park II reference. I genuinely don't think many will get that.
Enshitification will rear its head again. We've seen it with Netflix, we've seen it with Video Games. Give it a couple years and there won't be a free version from any of the big tech companies.
If everyone starts using a personal AI assistant, that's a lot of compute power these companies are doing for free
I can tell you grew up in this era
Blame your fellow human, companies only do what consumers allow 😂🤷♂️
@@jcozyyt you could be right if it wasn't AI you're talking about. Main problem of the AI development right now is to gather the data for AI to study on. And when you're using AI you're giving them this data for free. So basically you're generating free human questions for their free ai answers

He got the Ai to edge in a minute flat
btw, not that anyone here care about it but when it comes to writing code (actual code, not simple interview questions that you can already find the answer to on stack overflow), it still SUCKS BALLS.
I've spend almost 8 hours yesterday with the new version, trying to use it on a project I'm working on and I had to correct and guide every single thing it gave me to the point where it took me almost 4 times longer then if I didn't use it. If I didn't already know what I'm doing there's no chance I could get anything to work.
I tried generating code as well. It just makes too many mistakes to the point that it is not saving me any time. And the dumbest this is that it doesn't even try to run it's own code to check if it works.
You're supposed to use a team of agents to write/generate code, not just one AI/Bot.
Agentic AI is what is going to take more and more jobs. You can create a self-correcting Dev team that checks its own code for errors, researches solutions, tests them, iterates...
One AI/Chatbot would have to be specifically prompted to do all that. But Agents are different, if you give them the correct input, they give you a pre-set reaction. (Input: Coding error and related code. Output: Attempt multiple fixes, research the error, compare and contrast resulting performance, decide best result, test again, provide to End User. )
It also can't solve any problems it hasn't already trained on. So in other words, it's only useful if you are a beginner learning beginner things. It can't come up with a unique solution. It's not real intelligence by any stretch, as much as it's just Google with better results.
@@SkeleTonHammer At least results from google don't hallucinate variables and APIs into existence.
