I love the look of the methane wagon but it looks nothing like a shadow. It looks like 3 brute choppers strapped together with methane tanks on the back which would be really cool. Gotta give it to the grunts, they are crafty little bastards.

I’m sure the Arbiter would accept that because many Unggoy fought alongside him against the Covenant, so he probably developed some form of respect for them.

@@001choctaw no. He gave them weapons after he broke them and they conceded, but as seen in Halo Wars he has no respect for anyone should they impede the mission. And that most likely extends to everyone in the Covenant save the Prophets. He came from nothing and since he’s now something he doesn’t want to put up with anyone lesser than himself. He displays a lack of respect for other highish ranking elites in the HW campaign after all. This is all my speculation, but no, I think he views them as cannon fodder with guns and nothing more. He recognises their ferocity in battle under a cause they deem worthy but also recognises that they have no real fire to see the mission through when forced to fight for something they don’t actually care about.
Someone explain why people are mad sbout this? There was a grunt rebellion already so why cant there be another
Not sure. I like it. Halo lore has already made it clear that when properly motivated unngoy are borderline unstopable
Eventually the Grunts will get tired of being bullied and start their own faction, it's only time, not if.
Ripa Moramee quelled the 16th Unggoy Rebellion meaning this happens a lot.
I mean Grunt rebellions and they will eventually succeed.
MisterXenomorph yeah, like, they breed very fast, learn quickly (even if they can only learn one skillset) and can handle all weapons available to the Covenant and Ex-Covenant (aside from swords/hammers). They also can pilot war machines and other vehicles so there is virtually no role a grunt cant fill. Their main flaws are cowardice, lack of motivation and lazyness which all can be countered by a popular leader and some kind of “bigger goal” that appeals to all unggoy.
i find it absolutely hilarious that the Unggoy are actually pretty terrifying force on the ark

I like to think that the Grunts somehow stole a Banished Cruiser,and that they are basically are in a suicidal rebellion against the Banished.
Now all we need is to be able to play as a Grunt in a fps
imagine being able to "drive" brutes on the playing field.

YapYap is mentioned in a Grunt voiceline in Infinite. He is Canon
I imagine the Shadows don't look much like shadows because they've been made in the Banished artstyle and then on-top of that, heavily modified. I hope we see them again in Halo 6 though, it was great seeing the Phantom and Spirit working together in Halo 5.

Jesus people, it's multiplayer! Yapyap isn't canon, it's all in good fun, lighten up! I mean, you want a *SUPER SERIOUS* multiplayer...what's the point in that? Awakening the Nightmare is coming out with Campaign shit, new Blur cinematics, etc, so it surprises me that a single joke leader throws some of you off that much.

Are you sure the Methane Wagons are modified Shadows? I didn't see that mentioned in the leader profile on Waypoint and I don't see any resemblance, either. Not nitpicking, just asking!

YapYap THE DESTROYER has to be the best Leader in Halo Wars 2...his Balaho battle suits I heard r an absolute unit...hope I can get him
I do love some of the Grunty units but other stuff like the Brute riders seem a little jokey. Still I know I'm going to want to build some grunt heavies for my banished army

How was he switching which type of unit he wanted to use when ever he was using all units
i've foud a good tactic with yap yap is spam cannon fodder with the occasional brute chopper at the beggining, building only the council building, leaving the rest of the bases spots for power and supply. once the supply's are high enough, demolish one supply and replace it with a raid camp, then spam mostly heavy grunts, as a large group of heavies can take down most of the smaller flying units, and also build the grunt goblins and give them grunt hustle, acting as the medic of the group and for the love of fuck, keep the grunt mechs together, they kill things quicker and can heal each other with the grunt hustle.
now that you are spamming mostly grunt heavies, you can still build a few cannon fodder units, as cannon fodder tend to get prioritized by enemy fire first for running up and hitting them. the cannon fodder will absorb the damage while the heavies and mechs focus fire.
even if you CAN, dont fall for the "scarab is ultimate, it must be good" its not, i've had two to three scarabs on the feild and enemy units can still take your scarabs down, but most importantly, they can just run past and attack important things (if playing firefight). a constant counter i've found is a swarm of small air units can take down your scarabs, UNSC its those annoying mongoose with wings. banished, the banshee, flood, the flying tits. but if you have an army of grunt heavies? they have to spread their fire and still get taken down just as quickly

Halo Canon how do you think the banished will get off the ark.For instance do you think Atriox might create a new ship from scratch or find one maybe.
It was just the flagship that was taken down; it sounds like Atriox has a decent fleet that is either on its way or in hiding. It may show up with news of Cortana and the Guardians, which would call a ceasefire and possible alliance between the Spirit of Fire and the Banished.
Den Mother Arkala that makes me think that if the rest of the UNSC finds the Spirit of Fire they will not let them back in as a former ship of the UNSC as they might fear them as a ghost ship
Maybe they will find the forerunner dreadnot that used to power high charity. It was never stated on what happened to it and as far as I can tell it is still on the ark.
