I think Cole bishop is gonna follow a similar trajectory to Terrell Bernard. We may be a bit underwhelmed by his production and presence this season. It has felt like his pick was a move for the future, not the present
Ive been screaming for Damar to get run with the 1s.. he was a DAWG when he filled in for Micah... Idk if he'll be the same but dude was a human sledgehammer
He missed so many tackles though and took some bad angles on the deep stuff.
Damar hamlin was mid at best when he played for Hyde! Rapp is a heavy hitter already. we need a deep cover, saftey hamlin, isn't that!

I tend to disagree.
Rapp is special and he will prove it.
His versatility and skill set is in the same potential range of Micah/Jordan.
Interchangable.
Who is gonna be his running mate remains murky as of right now.
Damar is on this team long enough, knows the system and learned from the best.
Question is: can he bring it to the playing field every Sunday?
For now I expect Edwards to be his partner in the starting lineup until Bishop is ready!

If demar Hamlin is a starter secondary is going to be terrible. He made tackles when he was a starter but he was terrible and coverage And a safety really shouldn't be making that many tackles If a safety is making tackles that means it's out of position getting beat constantly or the secondary is getting torched.

Was missing Tremaine Edmunds size and wing span a reason why their red zone D worsened last year? If so, hopefully babich has found a way to fix that.
It was the old and slow safeties mixed with the loss of Milano, Tre, and Daquan imo. Bernard was way better last year than Edmunds's best season. I was a huge defender of his, but dude lacked instincts.
I think Hyde comes in if there's an injury???

Disappointing to hear any concern or hesitation with Cole Bishop. I thought we should've waited until Round 3 for a Safety, kind of reached for him, and we could've addressed DL sooner, in Rd 2. Hope it's only one day.. Go Bills!
It's a tough system to learn for rookies. Dude has all the tools one could want. Still plenty of time to earn a role in sub packages and work into a starting role eventually.

If Hamlin is our starter, we have a weak safety tandem.
Because players don't get better a few years into the league? He's a decent prospect and surely a capable SS. I don't like him at FS at all though. They had both Spector and Dodson starting out training camp getting the 1st team reps and Bernard was hurt all preseason and still got the job. I'm guessing this is just a shot across the bow for somebody like Mike Edwards for not being available with the shoulder in OTAs. I still think he ends up starting at FS.
If Collins wins the starting wide receiver job it means Buffalo is absolutely fucked. That guy needs to be like you're sixth wide receiver if he is our number two wide receiver we have the worst wide receiving core in the league.

@@jcZo23this one has more dynamic athletes across the board when you factor in RBs and TEs by far. Kincaid will be better than Beasley in the slot and will soak up a bunch of those targets vacated by Diggs and Gabe. Sanders was just average and kinda washed at that point, but solid. Shakir and Samuel can exceed his production. Coleman has a higher floor and ceiling than Gabe. This is the best mix of skill sets he's had across the board easily.

That is not what the bills do. a lot of moron said they were doing that with Torrance last year. if the bills put you in there you are number one on the depth chart at that moment could that change? Of course. he could play poorly someone else could play better but as of right now he is number one on the depth chart.

Joe, I don't comment much, but we all know the Bills have no super stars but they do have massive talent everywhere. The cut down too the 53 man roster is going to be a tough one. 😎🏈🍺🦬
Most teams have at most 1-3 players in that tier. Allen is obviously one. They've got multiple guys that are top 5-10 at their positions though. Milano when healthy is top 3-5 and Bernard was definitely top 6-10 at MLB last year. Douglas is a top tier boundary CB. Benford is a very good starter. Oliver is a top 5-8 3 tech. Daquan is a top 10 1 tech. Dawkins is a top 10 LT. Cook had the 2nd most yards from scrimmage among RBs last year. Superstar seems like a pretty subjective term.
Also Taron Johnson is the best slot CB in football. Can't forget him
