The stadium won't redefine the skyline because it's in Orchard Park, not downtown Buffalo😂
I just commented similar thing. It's nowhere near downtown Buffalo.
Let Go Buffalo New Home of the Bills. I'm Canadian so 🇨🇦 I just come and enjoy the Events ✌💯
Should have built a Dome!
The roof would collapse from all the snow
Additional hotel room with balconies overlooking the field should definitely be added if we’re talking about experiences
Buffalo Born, Go Bills!!!🏈🏈🏈
This doesn't effect the city skyline. Its nowhere near downtown Buffalo. Wtf!
Pegula Sports and Entertainment was shuttered months ago by Terry Pegula. It was his wife's business project that he never wanted.
Long overdue, I've been to the mistake by the lake many times to see a Bills game in the fall and while the tailgating in the parking lot is a blast the old barn was like sitting in a refrigerator with concrete seats.
The mistake by the lake is Cleveland
The price of tickets will not allow the Middle Class access. WE had a 79K stadium which would allow another 14K to attend. I love the new stadiium BUT only making 140K a year would have financail stress on buying Season Tickets. Go Bills!
AWESOME !!!
You know it’s not near the city right? Lol
It's maybe a 10 minutes drive.
@@briangoodie3420 the video began like it was in the city is what I’m saying
@@wayneszalinski8818 that's fine, but how you said it, saying it's not near. It's only 10 miles from downtown buffalo. It's not far.
Cant wait
The people who can barely afford season tickets to Bills games now will find themselves watching games from their homes when the new stadium is built. Yeah, that’s a good thing for sure. 🤦♂️
Happens every time. It won't be the same. Mile High Stadium can never be replicated at "Whatever they're calling it now stadium."
Candlestick isn't the same as that atrocity over in Santa Clara.
That's why they're decreasing the capacity
Lmao. What a weak Lil baby you are
@@fiscolorado656 And Kansas City Chiefs are now facing the strong possibility of moving to another place because taxpayers voted not to pay increased tax dollars for repairs to an old stadium - to get even the chiefs are seriously considering moving to another state - the Chief owners do not want to pay the repair cost they want the taxpayers to pay for something that it temporary which which was the problem in Buffalo. Buffalo because of a cooperative spirit was able to come up with a funding plan for their new stadium that included taxpayer dollars with the understanding those tax dollars will be paid through Bills revenue generated by the team remaining in Western New York. KC did not have such an agreement and the owners were not willing to use their own dollars on an old, very old building. Bye Bye KC - where ever you go you will have problems raising money when your shared owners refuse to use their own money.
@@profduck715 As I understand, the seating capacity fits the design of the new building and the space available. Could it have been larger - possibly but certainly not where it is now located - would that mean elsewhere in New York - probably but certainly not in city limits of Buffalo without having to destroy a very large portion of the inner city and that would have involved many lawsuits and damage claims and wiped out entire businesses. Yes the team could have moved elsewhere but how would that help the Buffalo Bills fans if, say the bills moved to Texas and became just another Texas team? As I understand the new stadium seating is designed in such a way that the vision angle will offer a better view of the playing field and standing only for an additional 5K+ fans at lower cost.
The new address is 0 Lombardi drive
LOL
I do disagree about wanting the experiencce. Going to a Bills game at the current stadium IS AN EXPERIENCE.
Wow that much money and no Roof Wow !!!!!
The cost to repair Arrowhead Stadium (the home of KC) would have been more than 850 million on an open air stadium - and that is just to make it last a few more years with added repairs every year. One simply has to look at the cost to understand why the people refused to pay an extra tax just for a temporary facility. Now that KC will probably be forced to move to another state will they may want a less expensive open air stadium over a dome - good question for the owners of the team since the people no longer want their tax dollars going for stadiums where they get no return but the owners get all the profits.
@@rhh3582 The reason is easier to understand when you understand; it is a criminal operation with hundreds of people ripping off as much as they can out of the pie...1.7 billion could build TWO domed stadiums and the millionaires could still get their taste.1 billion of the 1.7 is taxpayer money...These corporations (dba cities) are uber rich...1.7 billion could be covered by dumping off less than 10% of their investment portfolios...The metrodome was built for 55 million...Construction material Cost from 1982 to now have tripled To sextupled not the 24X's the cost as indicated by the stadium...So; IT'S A ROBBERY...
I'm a long-time Bills fan who's old enough to have attended games at War Memorial Stadium as a kid. I've been drenched, frozen, and windblown, attending Bills games over the decades. Now living in a warm climate and bustling city, I've heard all the "rationales" for not having a dome. But the reasons are ignorant to me and reflect decades of bad civic leaders and backward thinking as Buffalo continues to lose population and economic opportunities to more well-planned, forward-thinking cities.
Buffalo's civic leaders guaranteeing several more generations of..............."wide right". Bills fans get the stadium they deserve. Just wait until the make they Championship Game again and they have to play it at a neutral site because Bills fans were to dumb to demand a roof. I promise you will lose Josh Allen as well.
Buffalo will never get to host a Superbowl now without a roof , hopefully they'll win a Superbowl though.
We never would have in the first place. We can't accommodate it. We don't have the capacity or establishments for the Superbowl week that goes along with the game. There's a reason they go back to Miami and LA and Atlanta and new Orleans etc the most... I'm sure they considered that the roof isn't the reason we won't get a SB when they decided not to add one lol
@@mikeb5067many nfl fans don understand this lmao
Old stadium held 80,000
Having never been to the other stadium…..I’m sure it holds 80,001 issues.
@@OlinKreutzRulesyou right, and he's wrong😂😂
The House that Hochul Built.
People complain about taxes and not adding a roof.. While adding a roof would add *MUCH* more cost, eating up even more tax money... Keeping it open makes more sense all the way around. If you let the weather bother you, then you're simply just soft and miserable.
Did you finish school? Bump your head? Keeping it open keeps it closed to all forms of non football revenue in winter.
@@FrugalPCOGgood thing there’s 8 other months and the current stadium hosts other events too
@@FrugalPCOGwhy you asking yourself all them questions?? You already know they are all true
Left Buffalo in 1981 and still love the Bills. But I was embarrassed for Buffalo when national news reports showed people shoveling out the stadium.
@@rjohn3471 how’s that embarrassing? It just shows we care about the bills
Sabres need a new arena.... that would change the skyline.
Buffalo 🐃 🦬 🐃 🦬 Bill
If there's ever a team and city that needed a domed stadium, It's the Buffalo Bills.
Not according to bills fans nor the team.
The NFL is barely football anymore….domed Football 🤢
@@angrystrong0591 totally right - the Bills team players, the Buffalo Bills fans (Mafia) and the general population wanted not a domed stadium but an open air stadium - just as was the original stadium when professional was first p;layer - the Bills because they don't mind the cold (some do) but they want to carry on the tradition of open air stadium. More importantly - the cost of building domed stadiums is horribly high and those stadium are monuments to their owners and the taxpayers who spent there earning on building these monsters that will end up costing billions more as they age and in reality many of the domed stadium are nothing but unheated buildings with extremely high ticket prices. The Bills stadium is partially (65%) covered for fan protection from the weather but the entire playing field is exposed to the elements which the Bills players wanted. There is no way in this world that all people are going to be pleased but there is the truth that some people who have always hated the Buffalo Bills since they became part of the NFL will ever be happy. Ralph Wilson the late owner of the Buffalo Bills was not the most liked man in the NFL he was tough and and other team owners did not like him so it was natural that the NFL carried on the "tradition" of hate the Bills - and it exists to this very day after more than 50/60 years.
@@MaRkYWaHoOthe NFL has become a place to hide money that should have gone to paying federal income taxes for the general welfare of all people - and these words will really get people mad - but hopefully thinking.
We didn't want one. That's part of the fun!
Yea it’s not going anywhere near the skyline orchard park is 20 minutes south of the city
Economic impact calculations are a joke. Complete BS
I don’t think this is even a dome stadium. Are they stupid in Buffalo?
We don’t want a dome, we want REAL football
@@deliriousgeorge2879 WON'T EVEN BE REAL FOOTBALL WHEN THE NFL MOVES YOUR PLAYOFF GAMES DUE TO YOUR STUPID LAKE EFFECT SNOW.
This is where all our taxes are going
This is such shit
If It's not a dome It's a mistake.
They spent almost 2 billion dollars on a stadium in a city that averages 150 inches of snow a year without a dome or retractable roof!! I know that most of the fans love them playing in the snow but at least have an option with an retractable roof and you won't have what happened last season with possible postponements !! On nice days they could have it open, on crappy days use the retractable roof!!
Buffalo missed out on a golden opportunity to add billions to the city of Buffalo. I left Buffalo years ago, and I have seen the influx of money downtown in Baltimore. The money made from all the entertainment and restaurants and tourism before and after the games. Buffalo really need to learn from the major cities that cleanup on Sundays. Hotels, transportation and more! Smh
Agreed they only cared about getting Seneca Casino going
Not the rest of the area
Bleu cheese over ra*ch 🤢🤮
There is that stuff. But it's a small market team😂😂 youre just weird my guy, and could use the walk.
Yet another private company blackmailing a city for funds to built them a playground.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Taxpayer money always a big no but in buffalo what else will they use it for same with Green Bay
All u ppl crying over it not being a Dome don’t get it. To have a dime to spend that money u need to use the stadium for other events Buffalo doesn’t have the infrastructure for that hotels and roads. It’s strictly a football stadium
But open air stadium hasn't helped a bit with home field advantage.
It’s a disgrace, taxpayers had to foot the bill, one of the worst most corrupt projects ever In Upstate NY and that’s saying something. It’s an absolute disgrace.
Less seats, no roof. We’re thrilled…
Real buffalo fans don't want a dome. Who cares about anyone else when it comes to this😂 also WNY don't get anything from our taxes. We finally got something. Fuck everyone else again😂
As a wheelchair user, I hope there considerate to the handicapped and it’s very accessible to get around and hope there’s great accessible seating as well
Do you use a separate wheelchair for your brain? For years now, the AWDA has been in place for every reason you could possibly think of. This stadium isn’t being built in 1862. Either you’re trying to clown or you’re not too bright. Hoping it’s the first option, sadly, I believe that it’s the second.
Go Bengals .......
this stadium is being built on tears and heartache. perhaps you could get scott norwood the cut the opening ribbon.
what ever happened to scott norwood - the same can be said of many other place kickers who no longer haunt the playing field on many football teams.
Why are you watching this? 😂
They can come up with 600 million for a wealthy owner but nothing for general services for the city of Buffalo. Sorry all your pot holes can’t be fixed because we don’t have the money. What an absurd waist of money.
cut the crap, it is the winter condition in this area that make and cause potholes and all communities try their best to fix them. Anywhere there are changes in weather roads take the brunt. Complain about the roads and potholes - but look elsewhere in this country where roads are being washed away by flood waters, look else where and see that roads no longer exist because of landslides, look elsewhere and see that roadways have been damaged because of raging forest fires and roadways simply buckle because of the high heat. Complain all you want - there are always going to be those situation where there is never enough money to cover all the things people would like but be realistic, where ever one lives any where in this world, there are going to be shortages of money for all the luxuries people want.
Seriously……No roof
You could use it year round with a roof. How stupid
First off, people in buffalo take pride in their snow and don't want a roof. Now I'm sure some would disagree but the majority want an open stadium.
its half roof where prevent wind/ snowing in fans stand similar to one in UKs Tottenham stadium designs
interesting - year round - you obviously know that the Western New York area is not the most attractive for events like trackter/truck pulls/dirt bike races, junk travel productions and concerts. Western New York is a blue collar area - we are a hard working people we don't have all that much money that we can simply waste on shows of little interest that domed stadiums hold - yes there are some who might be interested in that kind of junk production held in domed stadiums but we do not need the build a domed stadium just so maybe some day we could hold a Super Bowl - we are happy to simply play in a Super Bowl somewhere else. One of those domed messes has cost as high as 18 billion dollars - realize where that money could have gone for improving so many things and a better life in those communities they are located in. Buffalo and the Bills owner is smart in recognizing the needs of this community and not those communities that have monster domes.
most important the players wanted an open air stadium, thew owners wanted an open air stadium and the people of Western New York wanted an open air stadium - and pointedly - Western New York could not afford a domed stadium for limited usage.@@hallnall1667
@@marlons4122and they play in their open air stadium regardless what the weather

What BOZO never thought of a ROOF. It snows in Buffalo.
Buffalo fans and the team and the owners😂😂😂 who are you Bozo?
Needed to be a dome. The stadium could make year around money .. The Team has 8 home games a per year
No roof= total stupidity.
Football is an outdoor sport. No reason for a dome.
@davidcostantino1838 chicago will have a dome. Indianapolis, Detroit and Minnesota have domes. Dallas, Phoenix,Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Houston have domes. What does that tell you? People don't want to sit in rain, cold, heat, wind and snow to watch sports. No thank you. And at this expense the building should be usable year round.
It's pretty ugly inside to me and horrible location as well, they'll need another new stadium in 20-30 years. Should've just moved them Toronto and called it a day.
Build a cheap DOME STADIUM instead!!
You want them to serve warm ice in there too?? More material = more money
What a joke this country has become. I live over 400 miles away within the state on Long Island, yet my taxes have to go towards this? Democracy my foot. I have no say-so whatsoever. The Pegulas, Hochul and their politically connected family and friends get richer. All teams should not be subsided by the government. These are private enterprises. Let them move if they are not happy/
hey buddy - while no New York state money went to build the Jets/Giants stadium in - guess where - New Jersey - why are they still using the name New York when they are located in New Jersey? MetLife Stadium cost the Jets and the Giants each 800 million dollars (but those are not final figures because the estimated cost of MetLife was estimated lower than actual cost) so the cost to both teams will be higher yet the Giants reported a loss of more than 3 million dollars last year and the Jets reported a profit of 12 million. It is reported that both the Jets and Giants each will have to pay back 45-55 million yearly on their 800 shared cost (which will have to be renegotiated because of cost overruns) for MetLife Stadium - and that does not include loan interest, the amount of taxes they both have to pay the state of New Jersey or the cost of players, staff, equipment and training facilities. Don't want to bad mouth you but you are nothing but a spoiled sport who can't afford to see the Jets or the Giants play because their costs are so high and you have to travel miles and miles to even get to their stadium - and - oh yeah - they don't have a dome - they like the Buffalo Bills are a cold weather team playing on artificial turf!
Drop the bs! Your elected representatives decide where the tax money goes!
Your taxes go to molester in prison. Feel better? Stop your bitching it’s getting you nowhere.

Orchard park is a Subarb in Buffalo 🤦🏽♂️
Erie County owns the stadium. If you rented the building your business was in and it needed replaced. You wouldn't Pay to build I knew one so I think it's pretty nice of the business owner to pay half the cost of a building they won't own new york state will. Duh
