- Ostfront is a huge DLC for Call To Arms that from what I found out... sucks you in for hours while you plan your tactics and debate on how your should research new technologies for your war effort.

First time me hearing about this game. I guess there's a progression system where you eventually get Panthers, Tigers, T-34s, and KV-1 and such? I'm guessing there's other stuff to unlock or use as well? Be cool if you could use a MG42 team.

@@codyelder9201 Well for me the most interesting part of the game is the editor, there you can recreate many battles, make maps, script missions.
There is a real big mod community
as well, there are realism mods (RobZ Realism), Star Wars mods, Warhammer 40k mods, American Civil war, WW1...the list goes on.
Men of War Assault Squad 2 is just great :D

@@codyelder9201 mg42 are avaliabel depending on what yeah you chose in multiple in single same there are many missions you can download from the battle of France stalingrad Berlin all those 88 pak 40 43 king tiger panther all tanks and even vehicles many don't know exist you name and ww2 vehicle or gun its in the game
Great content phly, this is entertaining content, and with so many playstyles and scenarios you could make a ton of videos from it.
I personally would rather see this then any other game.

Man I'd love to play against y'all online sometime, this game is so much fun. Personally I think artillery and mortars are really good, having a tank or two to defend them and then a squad of infantry to cap points. The effects and details on this game really are top notch though, it's great. Once I had a squad running past an old tank and it blew up because a fire eventually reached it and BAM, there goes the whole squad.
Still no video, that can only mean one thing. Hope he and his family are doing fine

This was awesome. Had a very realistic vibe as far as weapons, uniforms and equipment and how they were used in Barbarossa and Case Blue.

I used to play this game A LOT, like, constantly for 3 years starting when I was a 9 y/o kid trying hard to understand real-time strategic games and they made me fecking hyped to win a battle
This game NEEDS so much more attention. I am playing those titles for years now, but it always seems nobody ever cared for them. And Gates of Hell really is the best Call to Arms/ Men of War ever. So thank you Phly to shine some light on it. They really deserve it. I hope more people are going to play it now. And please do more videos about it.

The best thing of this game is that the Tiger have armor. And yes, if you angled him you have more armor.
the first person mod and the valour mod are pretty amazing. they make the game even more playable and likeable. valour adds most large armies from ww2 into gates of hell complete with their tanks and mortars infantry design.

Assistant gunner sent several rounds down range....he HAD to be drinking. Then the lead gunner shoves him out of the way, loads a silver bullet, and ammo racks the bastard blowing him into the upper atmosphere. LMAO. I was actually cheering by that point. @27:18

This game looks realy fun to play. I realy like how you can interact with everything. When you guys took that tank abd thrn repaired it. Awsome. So used like its engine was working and no gun. You could still use that against infantry as a support vehicle as long as no AT an other tanks show up.
Imprivised fighting vehicles in games I fukin love it. Could you booby trap things cause you could set IED's an VBIED's.
