The UNI-T UTi730E/UTi720E are advanced handheld thermal cameras with Wi-Fi capability, featuring a 3.5’’ IPS display screen with a 2MP visual camera and a 5200mAh detachable battery pack allowing continuous work for long periods of time. They are the perfect tools for diagnosing electrical, pipeline, solar panel, HVAC problems, etc.

What does the Infrared Mode do, can it stream to the device and also is the App available on the AppStore ?

1. The infrared mode shown in the APP is for the model UTi740H which shares the APP with UTi730E/UTi720E.
2. The UTi730E and UTi720E support stream when connecting to PC software. The PC software can be downloaded from our website at thermal.uni-trend.com
3. The APP can be downloaded from our website (thermal.uni-trend.com) or from GP Store at bit.ly/3CsJbH5
What is the difference between UTI730E and UTI730E enhanced version? Are they exactly the same except some cosmetic differences, or do they have different specs as well?

Here in the Philippines we have UNI-T UTi320E and UTi260E. Are these the same as UTi730E and UTi720E respectively? Thank you
Hi Sir, thanks for reaching out. The UTi320E is the domestic version, and UTi730E is the international version. Same as the UTi260E (domestic version) and UTi720E (international version). The international version features multiple languages.

Can it be used to detect PCB faults?
The principle of the thermal imager is to receive the thermal radiation emitted by the object through the built-in infrared sensor, and convert the signal through the internal components to output a thermal image with temperature data, so 720/730E can be used with the macro lens UT-Z003 for PCB, electronic circuit R&D and testing of components

1. The measurement distance can be calculated by:
(1) Detection distance (m) = Target object size (m) / (IFOV x 1.5) x 1000
(2) Recognition distance (m) = Target objective size (m) / (IFOV x 6) x 1000
(3) Identification distance (m) = Target objective size / (IFOV x 12) x 1000
[ IFOV = Pixel size / Focal length ]

UTi730E/UTi720E is the international version; UTi260E/UTi320E is the Chinese version. The difference is that the international version supports multiple languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Russian)
