It makes me smile to see your cat as part of the family. I had 3 boys and my cat was always there with the babies. I had a baby in one arm feeding and the cat in the other. Love your homestead and the goats which I also used to have. I ride horses now as you can't be without animals. Beautiful girl.

Laura, every time i watch a new video of yours, I'm amazed and pleasantly surprised at the similarities between you and me, despite the age/ethnicity/place differencs! Every single book you showed, i have it; your enthusiasm for fermenting food ( i have become a master on fermentation..Sauerkraut, kimchi, yogurt, and now I'm trying koji😊); your ethics regarding simple and regenerative living is exactly like mine...the only difference is your artistic skills, which i don't have but highly value..you are an amazing artist and your art is a true authentic green art, no toxic paints, no waste, what a blessing! When i watch you both, i I wish I'm your neighbour...well, over ten years ago I left my rented apartment and well paid job in London UK and moved to the mountains in central Italy...after few years of drifting from organic farm into another to learn skills and not pay rent😂, i managed to buy a very old small stone house ( it was very cheap) but no land just a garden...and as i live on the mountains, some kind people gave me the access to use a big patch of their land..where i keep 20 chickens ( i sell eggs😊) and grow my food..i also forage and barter with local small organic farms for raw milk and raw cheeses ...i don't have a job or any source of income..but i eat like a Queen...i don't have electricity, not even solar panels, or hot running water or a car or and electrical gadgets just my trusty wood stove, Ms Goldie 😂....one thing i miss is community.. i wish i live near like-minded people to share my experience and knowledge, to be helpful to each other..even just to chat over a good cup of coffee...i feel isolated but not deflated as i keep learning and improving my skills, hoping to be with a communityone day..i make soaps, vinegars, candles, creams, etc but still want to learn distilling to make essential oils, etc...anyway, sorry for the long comment...i guess I'm excited to be able to comment after all this time, as i don't have a computer, just this old mobile phone with a limited access to internet..oh, i also write...written one book and started the second, using my typewriter Ms. Pistachios 😂.. may you always be rich in health, knowledge, wisdom and love. Such a beautiful comment! I almost feel like visiting you one day, you must have gathered a lot of stories and wisdom over the years! So cool you are into similar things!! And yes community is a hard one, we have some people around but not really anyone doing the self-sufficiency thing at bit seriously so that makes it harder :) Although in general it's still in the culture here to have gardens and to grow some vegetables and fruits for example so that's cool :)

Welcome to the world little one! Nice to have baby in winter, by spring when she is noticing things it will be much warmer for her outside, now it’s too chilly for more than a few minutes for babies. Eleana certainly has plenty of dark hair, I think she looks like her dad, but that could all change as she grows up.
Congratulations to you both, it takes some getting used to having a baby. As you say luckily, winter is a quieter time on the homestead taking the pressure off you both just a little. Enjoy Eleana babies don’t stay babies for long! So happy for you both❤

I am fine now but as you know, very scary while it is all happening. I am in my late 60's and have had migraine for most if my life so assumed that it was one. The bright side if this is that I was given very strong antiviral medication. It was very aggressive and has left me with some gut issues BUT I have not had even a headache since. Silver linings! I hope Jonas has fully recovered.....he will need all his strength fir fatherhood! I wish you all well and thank you for asking after me. You are living the life I would have loved. Steph x

A couple of days ago I found your channel, have now seen most of the episodes. Build a home, not buy a home. Good work. I live in Skåne, southern Sweden, which used to be Danish. You live in Estonia, which used to be Swedish. There are supposed to be islands where Swedish is still spoken. I have an eco village in my neighborhood where I have practiced YOGA in a straw bale house, pleasant atmosphere. Wishing "Vibemaa" Good luck😃
