I weirdly love how ricks biggest “defeats” come from people who don’t have any kind of intention of fighting him
Gives him lesser reason to kill them i guess
Often because they are reflections of Rick. You cannot defeat your own reflection.
@@PlanetZoidstar break the mirror, I guess?
@@gmailquinn broken mirror still has a reflection

Rick literally goes and finds a version of the guy who's wife is still alive to see if his wife's death actually played a part in weather or not he used Rick's toilet or if he would've done it anyways
OHHH THANKS FOR EXPLAINING
@@MoeJama420 and, as far as I know, the reason he doesn't end up killing the dude in the end is because Rick can relate to having a dead wife. Hence why he had no remorse killing the one who still had his wife.
Man y’all need big brain energy for this show huh
@@trickytreyperfected1482 small brain energy here.
@@wolvreigns ?
People missed the point of that - regardless of his wife's state, he still poops on the toilet. Thus, his decision was not one of finding peace but one of opportunity. And Rick, in his infinite pettiness, went out of his way to prove this.
Most logical explanation out of every comment
I couldn’t put it into words thank you!
The point is dumb he never stated that he pooped on the toilet because his wife died just that he enjoyed it and is ok with dying because his wife died. It’s the surface level “intelligent humor” that gets Rick and Morty Stans all in a tizzy
Ahhh i see thanks
Bro its rick n morty… why you analyzing it like its some english class novela??
Rick..... A living multiversal personification of hypocrisy
how does this clip show hypocrisy from rick
We all know he is but he never used his dead wife as an excuse
Did he?
All he’ll ever be
He used it as fuel to live, hunt the rick that killed his wife and beth then after decades he became a rick he despises
@@hwhshdhe8332 Pretty sure the lad meant Rick in general, being a hypocrite.
@@Banana-up2kt oh i get it now
But can someone explain me how beth is alive if she gets killes by that other rick?
Rick brought another version of the guy who's wife was still alive to prove a point that he didn't use his toilet because of his wife's death... He also didn't kill him because he can relate.
shit man you really need a big brain for this stuff huh
It was the only person ho can relate to Rick for living the exact same things as himself and still find peace and tranquility on his life for just pooping on the toilet,
And Rick teasing him was just a way of jealousy and That's why rick was so sad that he passed away, is like when a kid bully his crush and then his crush pass away it makes the bully feel like 💩

The funny thing is the guy didn't use his wife as an excuse. He just accepts his potential death, and explains that his dead wife is the reason he's not gonna fight.
That’s how I saw it as well, the version who still had a wife put up more of a struggle
Oh shit I just realized the reason he didn’t kill him cuz Rick can relate to him but in every other dimension ricks wife is still dead but not his Lmaoo sick
from what you just commented, I was not expecting that "Lmaoo sick" at the end
@@WhereIsAlice_ it’s not a plot hole. Watch the show.
@@WhereIsAlice_ because even tho its a infinite universe, the people is still the same. So if Rick wife maybe sick and die young, all the rick wife in all universe also have those sickness and die young too.
But it just theory, the show not explain it yet. So yeah it can be a plot hole
@A R perhaps it’s one of the realities where he isn’t the smartest being in the universe.
@@WhereIsAlice_ I have bad memory but I believe it wasrick from a different timeline/future or evil morty that killed her so that c137 rick can make the portal gun, don’t quote me on it though I haven’t seen the show in a while.
Finally, a clip without a VHS filter and sad music that doesn’t relate to the actual clip whatsoever.
The clip ends just a few seconds short of the bum gun part lol
The vhs shit and all is for the copyright bots
That's so 2019 tho.
And it’s looped!
Female slower version of "i tried so hard and got so far" playing in the backround...
Me: oh he’s going to give that guy a new universe to live with his wi- and never mind
I feel you don't know Rick at all
U must have started at season 3
i thought this too
That doesn’t sound like Rick at all
Well technically he created a universe for that guy to live with his wife by widowing the wife that was alive in the other universe.
Notice how he didn't at all connect his wife's death with using ricks toilet. It was just the reason why he accepted death so readily.
I still wonder sometimes how he managed to get to Rick's toilet
Well he went to space Mount Everest after this so probably a space ship
Fr tho I thought Rick had a private planet where the toilet was 💀
How he tosses him back into the portal has me dead 😂🤣
Like the guy he tossed
Just doing a universe adjacent Rick a solid
“Don’t use your wife’s death as an excuse!” Things Rick C137 says to his reflection every damn day
"I will have to call you back" truly the recognition that he was going to die
“Im a bit of a shy pooper”
*BEST LINE EVER*
Rick first time saw himself in someone else. Not the genius Rick. But the real Rick who lost his wife and Beth and also a shy pooper. That's why he couldn't kill him. Man this scene hits harder when you know Rick's actual backstory.
Rick hated this guy because he knew the true pain of losing your wife.
And then he still tried to make life easier for him.
Considering the Rick he hates most is a version of himself that never lost his wife, I can only imagine why this strikes so far home for him.
I always wondered. How did he find the toilet? It's in it's own planet
Before the demise of Community, Dan Harmon envisioned the "shy pooper" storyline for Jeff Winger.
The show was pretty sad cause Rick lost someone who could truly understand or get a semblance of some understanding of what Rick feels.
Rick is a complex character from his genius to his alcoholism to his burping.
"Oh, so you *like* being alive? So why the f*ck are you back here?"
The end 💀✋🏾
Weird how i just saw this episode 20 minutes ago and this exact scene..
what did you think about the episode?
I’m not sure why you need to clarify you saw the scene when you mentioned already you watched the episode but alright lol
Which episode is this from?
@@mc_lovin363
Well, I think he meant like he watched this episode and then keep scrolling. After 20 minutes, he saw this the exact scene. Even if you think "20 minutes" is kinda long time to scroll but isn't obvious we're getting addicted until we didn't realize the time?
Or maybe he watch that full episode (idk the exact which was) and then after 20 minutes, he open CZcams short and saw this? Idk man, I'm just imagining his situation.
@@mc_lovin363 because i started the episode yesterday and finished it today and saw this scene in today's viewing of the episode.
This scene just hits differently now with the ending of season 5. We know that Rick us a merciless cold blooded killer most part of the time and he rarely spare someone that pisses him off, but as soon as he heard from Tony his wife was dead he flinched. Rick knows exactly how it hurts to lose family, and he knows how much that pain can make someone change for complete, ignore risks and live only to try to find a way of overcoming that void. Yet, he knows that some people doesn't really need that trauma to become like that, even a version of the same person form another dimension, as Rick have seen it from his own other versions that haven't gone through the same pain of him and yet are just as crazy or even worse, so when he found a version of Tony that didn't lost his wife and still pooped on Rick's toilet, it was a pure moment of rage, confusion and reflection for Rick, which made him uncapable of killing Tony. He saw in Tony the same void of his, and Tony saw the same in Rick. I'm not sure if they would be great friends as Tony wanted, but we know for a fact that he was one of the best persons to understand Rick's void, since he had one of his own, and that's what made Rick pissed, the fact that Tony had a similar void and still had the power of accepting pain, fighting against it, offering and accepting help, and by the end of the episode, overcoming it. Rick was left alone again with the sight of him being a crybaby, the man with the universe in the palm of his hand, but uncapable of changing for the better, while Tony was a mere creature in a small word rick created for him to poop, and still managed to beat his pain and offer help to someone who humiliated him several times.
Rick is way too smart for anything
But the dead wife wasn't his excuse it was the shy pooping part at the end.. The beginning was just his response to Rick saying she's trapped in a marriage. Bruh. Writing so deep.
The "conference room 3" line is just to funny. Spent some time in rooms like that and it would be one of the last places In the universe I would like to spend my last moment.
i love how rick wont kill someone who is wanting to die or wont fight back but the moment they wanna die he just uses Phycological means to make to scare them and make himself feel good.
Can't stop thinking about how much better it would've been if Morgan Freeman voiced the toilet pooping guy
The next part was the best. "So your not going to kill me?" "DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!" *Fires a shit mine on the table that detonates and raises a shit middle finger* 😜

its so sad, but he just made him feel depressed from calling him a loser

This is probably the pettiest Rick has been in the series
The special message that he had for him really broke my heart when he didn't get to receive it
That alien can really see through a mans pain. And Lie as an excuse. I'm ready if you are😂
Dan Harmon went from his best work to his worst.
Pettyness level: Rick Sanchez
Love how they cut the video right when Rick plants an ass bomb in the room. That was the best part man 😂

I Love when rick comes against someone he either feels a connection with or can't figure out. Seeing him speechless is just... *😘*
He brought him back from the future you guys not another version of him that's why he still lived
I love this series and I empathize with Rick more than anyone in the series ... but he is a bit cruel I'd say lol
I just noticed that Rick shocked that his wife is dead reminds him of his
Poor guy calling himself a shy pooper
i don't remember this scene but it shows more heart than most people think Rick believes he has but he relates to this man on so many levels.
what he CAN'T stand is excuses. which this man gave and would have given no matter the circumstances.
that's why he pulled a guy from a different reality AND didn't kill either one of them.
I love when Rick beats him up
never gonna give you up never gonna let you down
the voice acting is crazy amazing in this scene
You missed the best part! But this is definitely my favorite Rick and morty episode😂
He’s clearly reading a note 💀
This was sad until the end 😂
This competes for my favorite Rick and Morty episode. I don't at all enjoy the "don't develop my app" plot, but man I love Rick and this guy, and the ending of the episode gets me every damn time.
Man's built like an NFT
I mean… there’s also infinite iterations where his wife went into remission and he didn’t take a dump. As long as a multiverse exists you will find an iteration that suits your argument, so for all we know he did shit there because of his wife since that could be his reasoning for this iteration of him. Conclusion, Rick is a dumbass not a smartass in this moment.
No he certainly knew that he just wanted to be overly petty towards the guy because he was angry at the guy but couldnt bring himself to kill him.
Wtf bruh!😂
Rick can relate to toilet thief in the sense that both lost their wives. But Rick wanted to be petty and prove to guy/himself that his wife has nothing to do with it. He's just mad cuz he felt that he had the ONE thing and someone else/the universe, takes it from him. Man can't even shit in peace anymore😔
Perfect example of Rick Sanchez
Aw man, it’s just a few seconds short of the bum gun that he uses at the end lmao
I need to freaking watch this show
I remember this episode one of those where he shows emotions other than anger and pride it hit different especially the ending 😭😭😭
He didn't really use his dead wife as an excuse, he just states that using his toilet helped with his depression. Never says he wouldn't have if she was alive

You keep uploading these incomplete clips... you do know that Rick ends up being in the wrong in this episode, right? And that he very commonly is wrong in his understandings of life?
You people keep complaining about the clips... You do realize these are called SHORTS , right? And shorts are only about 15-30 seconds long, right..
In the end Rick is the one who really lost.
Check rick's face at the shes dead line. Rick just fukin empathize with the guy. One of the best moment in the show

Me After see Rick's past and what happend to his family 😭😭😭😭
Finally one that doesn't have sad music even though it's not sad.
Rick and Morty never gets old
Why do you put periods right after something somebody from the clip said like it’s sad? It doesn’t make sense.
Edit: It’s not even a sad clip so why put them there?
Because that's how the script writes it.
Its called ellipsis
Its not only to convey sadness. Its also to show that words have been left out or to add a pause.
to be completely honest with you i started putting them in the titles of my videos when i was posting aesthetic shorts and it kinda stuck around

the ending of this episode is one of the most depressing moments in rick and morty
FINALLY ONE WHERE IT DOESNT HAVE SAD MUSIC
I fucking love Rick he tells it just the way it is no remorse
Bruh him beating up a version of himself in front of him is THE ALPHA fucking move
Funny how Rick tells others to not use their dead wifes as an excuse, but thats literally how he justifies his actions.
It makes more sense seeing this after finding out Rick's wife was actually killed.
This episode is actually emotional 😭
And this is how you get to Rick, ladies and gentleman. You be honest with him. 100%. Do you know who Rick listens to? Birdperson. His therapist. Toliet guy. People who are so brutally honest that he can't be cynical about it. You can't beat Rick. All you can do is leave him alone or be honest with him. And that's his character at its best in my opinion
Jeffrey Wright and Stephen Colbert were my favourite guest stars. Wright's performance is brilliant.
Finally a normal scene no depressing music
Rick was just like, Bitch please.
Finally a Rick & Morty short without annoying sad background for no absolute reason! I love this! Keep it up 😁
This moment is pretty recontextualized after learning how much ricks dead wife affects him
Season 6 makes this episode better
Rick didn’t like being call a bad guy or prove wrong
