Yeah I got it a couple months back... it's killer.
He has his heart in that music. You know several years ago Zakk got the oppourtunity to play a gig with one of his favorite groups-The Allmen Brothers. But it didn't go so well. Greg Allmen said Zakk's playing was too over the top and prefered a more laid back blusey player. Then again Zakk was kind of young and a coccky little bastard so what did they expect from him. But he's older now, he's getting more diverse. There is a good chance he may do such a project in the future.. I hope so too.. If he does i hope he takes his time with it and gets it right. His heart is in that 70 southern rock, that was some really quality music.
Pride and glory was a one lifetime thing. And it's wow man. I mean, those songs:) i dont think there exist more a perfect timeless album than that one. . I mean you got everything, songs to make love, to drink, to make out, to study. Im so happy i grew listening to this:)
