  • The Saab car museum hosts most of the Saab cars ever made and is an interesting place to visit for any car enthusiast. This film, part 2 of 6, shows the Saab cars from the 1960s and tells some stories about the cars from that era:
    Saab 96
    Saab 97 Sonett
Saab 99 mule car, "The Toad"
    Saab 99
    Hoojies Garage

Thank you very much for parts 1 and 2.
I rebuilt a 1962 SAAB 96, that I rescued from a scrapyard when I was 18 and learned a lot in the process. Also, I had a tour of the SAAB factory the experience of being taken at a speed around the test track. Later I had the long-nose model 96, with the triple carbs, I wish that I had a chance to remodel this engine, but I had no garage at the time. Later I had a V4, which had poor acceleration compared with my two-stroke versions. The engine was not smooth and had a maintenance problem. Many SAABs later, I wish that my 1962 had not rusted away; I never have had a car to touch this dream model.
