I was pleasantly surprised that after more than a week, the tire is still holding air.

I know that this video is 3 years old, so I imagine that you've figured out that it would have been easier to fill the tire if you had screwed the injector/syringe into the stem valve BEFORE pouring the TireJect into the applicator. It would also flow faster, if you just pour it in and only used the plunger to force the last amount of TireJect into the tire.
