      @@husq48 It will last a long time. I owned numerous 721's and 728's. Mid mounts and front mount diesels. (Kubota)
      I owned one gasser. It was decent.
      Grasshopper has the best hydros on the market. Diesel made a big difference and the front mount shaft drive PTO was a beast.
      I'm out of the business, but now I own a Toro Titan with MyRide 60".
      It has a 23hp Toro engine. I'm impressed with it. Check them out.

      @@UncleDonDon I bought it mainly for the collection system, largest one on the market in a midmount mower, great for leaves! However, I have blown three hydraulic hoses already, and not many hours on it, as I have two Hustler Super Z 60's as well. Hoses suck! Short travel direct pipe lines are the best, no leaks, no issues.

      Gotcha,I was wondering how they rode, we live on 3 acres. The grade around the house is descent. The Other 2 acres are pretty rough and beat the shit out of my scag. Is it a pretty noticeable difference? I'm Also curious about flat stops after sitting for a week or so..

    I found some replacement pneumatic tires for my Grasshopper at Garland Saw and Mower in downtown Garland, TX last summer. They are slicks (no tread texture) and MUCH cheaper than Grasshopper tires. A year later, no complaints. Tough as nails.

    I like the "Concept" of the Tweel Wheels. The cost however, is a bit steep at around 1600.00 for a pair of rear tires. I hear a lot of people argue that they save time and money over flat tires. I counter that you lose 1600.00 up front with Tweels. Even more than 1600 if you add them as an option from the dealer. (1600.00 plus you have to give them the brand new tires and wheels that came on the mower.)

  • @brianmitan1744
    @brianmitan1744 Před 4 lety +7

    I have to disagree on the "rough" ride. The Tweel is known for molding to the ground and molding to curbs rather than fighting it like a pneumatic. I'd say the ride is actually a selling point for me.

      I was going to order Tweels when I bought my Z930M but the dealer said John Deere wouldn’t allow the Tweels to be ordered along with the Dump From Rear Collection System.
      I assumed it was the extra downward force that the Tweels were not designed for but a comment in another video suggested that it was harder on the TuffTorque drives. Maybe the extra weight distorts the Tweels enough to put extra drag on the drive system.
