    White marbles on the white table are hard to see. Maybe put some green tablecloth next time?

    Question - there's two basic types of moves moving one, two, or three marbles either in-line or broadside. To push another player's marbles you have to have more in your line of marbles that are moving than your opponents. My question is this - due to the rules of pushing: Pushing can only be accomplished by in-line moves and can't be done using a broadside move - correct?

      I think you need to push 4 pieces, then your idea becomes relevant. But I had the same question in mind, after playing my first game yesterday.

    Hahaha! I find the way this video is made to beso funny. Because the screen behind the hosts is same color as the floor under the layers feet, it creates an optical illusion that tiny people on top of a wide tower are watching giants play

    These are the finals for Abalone and the commentators barely know anything about the game, what's up with that?

    Paused at 56 seconds in and I can predict black will win, hope I'm proven wrong. Would take some fancy moves. He who reaches the center first has the upper hand.

    Why is the balls placement aren't as usual ?

    • @margaridameneses7245
      @margaridameneses7245 Před 4 lety +6

      There are very positions to start. You can start abalone with the balls in that position or the usual position of the balls or many other positions. You can search it up.

      This has actually become often used even out of competitions - the original placement makes it much easier to just draw the game.

      é tipo sumo de tabuleiro man, ja fui pras finais nacionais qnd criança, é maneirão. Pena q é muito mais fácil de terminar empatado do que um jogo de damas ou xadrez por exemplo, por isso q ele é pouco jogado (infelizmente)

    One of these commentators is... uh.. pretty bad. Ruined my whole experience of watching this video. Will not be watching again. So disappointed.
