I tried on the echo skate, very comfy solid skates. At the booth, there was two veriosons: the test mold and the real one. The real molds plastic was surprisingly solid/dense. If you are worried about weight this may deter you but honestly i think the weight is insignificant. I would say it’s as heavy as the RB Keane’s Blanks full flat setup. Probably a tad lighter , for me that’s not a problem. If I were to be completely honest, I think they are the best skates coming out. The sizing, for my feet at a 10.5US, are perfect. It’s the fitting for me reminds me of Thems at that size, but more comfy. I’m definitely getting them

Heard from a reliable source 😉.. The skates displayed at WC were 90% final items, as the team wanted to go get feedback and test sizing before closing the injection moulds. Several changes and improvements have been made post Clash. This also explains the finish on the skates, as they will in fact be matte. On the mount system, the team said to be very sorry for bringing yet another mounting standard to the market - they know it is not ideal. However, it was the only way to solve the 2mm foot sole to wheel fit. Also heard, that the 4 x 80mm feels and handles like a 4 x 60mm, just with a ton of speed. The developers said they will do their best to create a UFS adaptor for the free skate. Lastly, obliged by bringing more products to a niche market, the purpose and responsibility moving forward will be to support and grow grass roots and skate schools on a global scale. They very humbly believe they are able to do exactly that 🫶🏻
