Adding a Winch to a Carry On 5x8

I add a winch to my carry on 5x8 trailer.

Nice job, Roger. I thought about a small winch but one thing I really need is an e-z up tailgate spring to make lifting the tailgate easily. Sometimes my tailgate is a booger especially after I've been doing tons of other stuff before reloading my trailer. Enjoyed a full-watch. Don 👍🏽🤠 1/23/23

I have hand winches on 3 of my trailers. You did a nice job but, I would add a diagonal 2 x 2 x 1/4 angle from the receiver to just behind the hitch. The angle can also be used to mount your spare tire. Good video. Good Luck, Rick

Nice for your trailer. My car hauler can slide heavy machinery on because it has a plate floor. Same winch but I put a starter motor next to it and the gear matches with the winch gear. But I use a pickup with a huge tractor trailer battery which I solar charge. It powers a lot of other items.
